Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis apakah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi pada siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan strategi siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2  yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS), terlihat dari: (1) Keaktifan siswa mengalami peningkatan 13,3%; (2) Partisipasi siswa mengalami peningkatan 13,3%; (3) Ketuntas hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan 20%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar akuntansi. Kata kunci : TPS, prestasi belajar, akuntansi. ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to examine and analyze whether or not the application of Think-Pair-Share (TPS) type cooperative learning can improve accounting learning achievement on the XI IPS 2 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This research is a classroom action research using the cycle strategy. The subject of this research is a class XI IPS 2 which totaled 30 student. Technique of data collecting is done by testing, observation, documentation, and interviews. The result of research showed that there is improvement on students accounting learning achievement through the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning, seen in (1) Students activity increases 13,3, (2) students participation increases 13,3% (3) mastery learning student also increase 20%. The conclusion of this research is the application of Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning can improve accounting learning achievement on the XI IPS 2 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar.
