Abstract

Masa pensiun merupakan suatu fase kehidupan yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian dari pekerja atau karyawan yang sedang menghadapinya. Berbagai perubahan akan terjadi dalam kehidupan pekerja setelahtiba masa pensiun dan jika tidak disikapi dengan bijaksana dapat mendatangkan kecemasan. Dukungan sosial dari orang-orang yang bermakna dapat membantu individu mengatasi krisis kehidupan termasuk masalah kecemasan menghadapi pensiun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif non eksperimental cross sectional yang bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan tingkat kecemasanmenghadapi masa pensiun. Kuesioner dukungan sosial dan tingkat kecemasan diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi dari Berlin Support System dan Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 133 responden 34,6% mendapat dukungan sosial sedang, 65,4% tinggi, serta tidak ada yang mendapatkan dukungan sosial rendah; 65,4% tidak mengalami kecemasan, 15,0% mengalami kecemasan ringan, 13,5% kecemasan sedang, 6,0% kecemasan berat dan tidak ada yang mengalami kecemasan sangat berat. Hasil uji chi square diperoleh p value = 0,027 (α=0,05). Kesimpulan hasil analisis data adalah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan tingkat kecemasan menghadapi masa pensiun. Dukungan sosial yang telah diberikan seharusnya ditingkatkan, tidak hanya bersumber dari dukungan informal tetapi juga dari dukungan formal yaitu pihak instansi agar kecemasan dalam menghadapi pensiun dapat dicegah atau dikurangi secara optimal.

Abstract

Abstract. Innovation can be made from small thing in our routine. Seiri (sort),Seiton (set in order), Seiso (shine), Seiketsu (standardize), and Shitsuke (sustain)is 5 Japanese words which is a systematic technique that is closely related toefficiency. Kaizen has been widely recognized in the world as continuousimprovement through small steps which impact economically for the company.These systems help management to manage the workplace, improve disciplinary,decrease waste and increase productivity. Mory Industries Inc. is one of theJapanese-owned stainless steel manufacturing company that upholds qualitycontrol which contribute significantly to the implementation of Kaizen and 5S.This study explores innovation of Kaizen implementation which refers to 5S thatapplied on the production floor and also the office in a concrete way. Directobservation will be carried out as the basis of the methodology of this study.Without any record detail activity of 5S that should be done by the workers, buteach worker has already implemented as a habit in their daily work. Every year,Mory Industries Inc. always improves some workplace through Kaizen techniquein order to increase efficiency.Keywords: 5S, efficiency, innovation, kaizen, quality.

Abstract

The main problem in families in which there are Deaf parents and Hearing children is the problem of communication, both verbally and in sign language. Hearing children with Deaf parents are able to communicate in two ways, either verbally with non-Deaf people or using sign language with Deaf people. Communication between children and Deaf parents is an important problem in their social and emotional development. This study aims to determine the communication problems that arise between children and Deaf parents. The main focus is to explore the obstacles experienced by children in understanding and conveying messages from their parents who have hearing impairments. This study uses  the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Researchers found 127 Scopus articles in a search using Science Direct and with the help of Mendeley and VOSViewer which were  then filtered into 18 articles to be analyzed descriptively. The findings show that lack of communication should not be a reason why Deaf parents cannot have access or information about their children. And appreciate that hearing children or Children of Deaf Adults or CODA have different ways of communicating with Deaf parents, the Deaf community and the hearing or non-Deaf community.

Abstract

Social media has evolved into a communication tool that promotes inclusivity, allowing persons with disabilities to share a variety of messages with their audiences. @jennifernatalie_ is a deaf Social Media Influencer (SMI) who uses TikTok to share sign language-related educational content. Despite her difficulty talking verbally, @jennifernatalie_ is capable of generating quite high levels of engagement with her followers. The goal of this study is to analyze @jennifernatalie_'s sign language educational content in terms of creating engagement with followers along five characteristics that support SMI communications. This study used a qualitative study content analysis methodology. The research data was gathered by assessing the content of short videos on TikTok @jennifernatalie_ and enhanced by literature reviews from various sources relevant to the research issues. The findings showed that @jennifernatalie_ was capable of presenting the five dimensions of SMI communications to generate engagement through her educational TikTok posts.

Abstract

Social media has evolved into an inclusive communication tool, enabling individuals with disabilities to share various messages with the broader public. This study explores how the educational content shared by the TikTok account @jennifernatalie_ fosters audience engagement with deaf-related issues. Using a qualitative approach through content analysis, the research examines how five dimensions of Social Media Influencer (SMI) communication—namely information usefulness, dialogic interaction, affectivity, collectivity, and connectivity—are manifested in the content uploaded. The analysis was conducted on 189 selected videos from four educational-themed playlists. Findings indicate that despite verbal communication limitations, @jennifernatalie_ effectively utilizes social media features to communicate in a creative and inclusive manner, delivering messages that foster emotional connection and interactive engagement. Through her authentic expression as a deaf individual, she succeeds in activating audience participation via comments, likes, and two-way conversations. This study highlights how influencer communication characteristics play a pivotal role in shaping engagement, particularly in disability-related topics. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of inclusive communication practices on social media and the role of disabled influencers in fostering digital social interaction.
