Abstract

Dalam era otonomi daerah yang memberikan peran sebesar-besarnya bagi daerah untuk mengembangkan potensi yang tersimpan, pemerintah telah mengeluarkan berbagai kebijakan yang membawa dampak pada pemberdayaan masyarakat di pedesaan.Pemberdayaan sumberdaya manusia di daerah khususnya Maluku. Sebagai anak bangsa merupakan tanggung jawab bersama antara masyarakat dan Pemerintah maupun lembaga pendidikan dibidang penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. untuk mewujudkannya. Hasil pengolahan tanah lempung secara tradisional dengan injakan kaki atau mengunakan tangan dirasakan hasilnya kurang merata proses pengolahannya, sehingga hasil luaran tidak terlalu baik kualitas gerabahnya. Proses pelaksanaan dimulai dari observasi dan tinjauan lapangan serta temu kelompok pengrajin harapan di negeri Ouw kecamatan Saparua, kabupaten Maluku Tengah, untuk membahas menyangkut permasalahan yang dihadapi kelompok pengrajin gerabah Harapan, maka terjalin kerja sama untuk melaksanakan pembuatan mesin pegolahan tanah lempung untuk pembuatan gerabah. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil gerabah yang baik yang berkualitas dan mengefektifkan waktu dan tenaga serta lebih ekonomis yang diharapkan hasil produksi lebih baik dan dapat di pasarkan lebih luas bukan saja di daerah Maluku tetapi juga di daerah lain sehingga omset penjualan lebih meningkat. Selain itu kegiatan ini dilaksanakan juga uji kelayakan, dan pelatihan tentang penggunaan mesin pengolah tanah lempung.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKecamatan Teluk Ambon merupakan salah satu kecamatan di wilayah Kota Ambon, yang secara geografis berbatasan dengan Kecamatan Leihitu Kabupaten Maluku Tengah di sebelah Utara, Teluk Ambon di sebelah Selatan, Kecamatan Leihitu Barat Kabupaten Maluku Tengah di sebelah Barat, dan Kecamatan Teluk Ambon di sebelah Timur. Total luas wilayah Kecamatan Teluk Ambon adalah 93,68 km2  atau sekitar 26 persen dari total luas wilayah Kota Ambon. Sebagai kelanjutan dari kegiatan sosialisasi, metode berikut yang dilakukan yaitu aplikasi penerapan K3 bagi para pekerja galian C. Pelaksanaan program ini juga meliputi pemakaian sejumlah peralatan K3 (secara khusus alat pelindung diri) dengan pemahaman terhadap fungsinya masing-masing bagi para pekerja. Pemasangan spanduk yang berisi peringatan ataupun slogan-slogan dilakukan untuk mengingatkan para penambang dan masyarakat seluruhnya akan perlunya bekerja dengan selamat. Dalam melaksanakan penerapan K3 secara serius bagi penambang galian C dan bertujuan untuk meminimalkan resiko kecelakaan yang terjadi dan menciptakan kondisi areal kerja yang sehat dan aman .Kata kunci : Galian C, Pekerja, K3

Abstract

Pile bearing capacity is the ability of the pile to support the load acting on the pile. The bearing capacity of the pile foundation must be greater than the load that occurs so that it can safely hold the building. Likewise for the pile foundation used in the construction of the Catholic Center Building, which must be able to support the loads that work on it. For this reason, it is necessary to calculate the bearing capacity of single or group pile foundations to support the load of the Catholic Center Building. Many methods are used to calculate the bearing capacity of piles, one of which is by using the equation proposed by Meyerhof (1976) which uses data from the Standard Penetration Test (SPT) obtained. In this method the value of N from the SPT results is used to find the pile end resistance and pile friction resistance. From the results of the calculations, the total weight of the Catholic Center (P) building is 20462 KN. The single pile bearing capacity based on the first point is 320.2 KN and the second point is 550.7 KN. The total bearing capacity of the pile group contained in the Catholic Center Building Construction based on drilling point one is 17261 KN and drilling point two is 30179 KN. 24255 KN. Thus the pile foundation in the construction of the Catholic center building is able to safely support the weight of the building, namely Qa = 24255 KN > P = 20462 KN. Abstract

Retaining walls serve the purpose of withstanding lateral pressure from the soil behind them. This construction can be considered as an alternative for addressing potential landslides along the embankment of Hutumuri village road. The aim of this research is to plan a retaining wall as one of the reinforcement alternatives for the embankment along the section of Hutumuri road from Station (STA) 1+200 to 1+270. The planning of the retaining wall along this road section begins with a soil stability analysis using the simple slice method. Subsequently, employing the Terzaghi method, the stability of the wall against soil pressure behind it is analyzed to prevent displacement and potential collapse during the construction of the retaining wall. Utilizing the Simple Slice method and Rankine's theory to assess the slope conditions and the construction of the retaining wall along Hutumuri road section, values for the slope safety factor are obtained. In the unsafe condition, the slope safety factor is less than 1.2, indicating the need for an alternative slope reinforcement, such as a retaining wall. The analysis results for the stability of the Counterfort-type retaining wall indicate that it does not meet the requirements. This is due to the fact that, in section I, the soil bearing capacity safety factor (FS) is 2.454, where the value of FS is less than the recommended value of 3, signaling the need for further consideration and potential adjustments in the design.

Abstract

Soil retaining wall (DPT) is a construction building that functions as a slope stabilizer that has the possibility of landslides. One of the areas that often experiences landslides is the central Maluku road in Wahatu hamlet, Wakal village. The factor that causes landslides is due to the increase in volume caused by high rainfall which makes the widening of the river flow which results in landslides that seep to the roadside. The planning made is only based on the instincts and work experience of the contractors and plus the pile foundation used only uses the nani wood pile foundation so that the strength and durability of the wooden pile foundation must be calculated so that we can find out whether the plan is safe or not. The results of this study stated that the carrying capacity per pole = 0.784739 kg with a total carrying capacity, the number of poles 12 pieces x 0, 784739 kg = 9.417 kg / 9.5 tons and the total weight of the beronjong is 97.5 tons. From the calculation results can be concluded the weight of gabions > the total carrying capacity of wooden piles, then from the weight difference is 9.5 tons – 97.5 is 88 tons

Abstract

A soil retaining wall is a construction built to withstand or support soil pressure and other lateral loads with the aim of preventing the soil from unwanted lateral movement. This study aims to determine soil parameters and design soil retaining walls according to standards or theories. The test includes physical and mechanical properties, based on the results of the tests carried out, soil property data is obtained, namely with the type of loamy sandy soil, with a moisture content of 23,68%, the weight of the content with the weight of wet soil volume (yb) is 1.75 gr/cm3 and for the volume of dry soil (yd) is 1.53 kg/cm3, specific gravity is 2.59 Gs, liquid limit (LL) is 39,10%, the plastic limit (PL) was 13,39% and for the plastic index (IP) was 25,71%, the maximum dry volume weight (yd maximum) of the tested soil sample was 1.732 gr/cm3 and the optimum moisture content (W optimum) was 7.66%, as well as the deep shear angle (φ) and cohesion (c) used based on the table of typical values c' and φ (AS 4678,2002), which is used at 25° and 0 KN/m2.
