Abstract

Some people have not realized that waste can be used as multifunctional goods. This is become a problem complained by householder in the neighborhood at Kuwasen, Jepara. Therefore the use of patchwork can be a solution to overcome waste processing problem. Team of community service invited the group of PKK at Kuwasen as partners to carry out activities of illumination and motivation, training, and evaluation. Based on community service activities, team and partners succeeded in making APE Pillow Doll, as well as the socialization of its use as a home based education media. The outcome of APE Pillow Doll can be applied as a medium for learning English and Hija'iyyah for early childhood, both in the home and formal school.

Abstract

ABSTRACTStimulation of children's growth and development with innovative media during the golden age is very important. This service is carried out with the aim of helping partner problems related to the lack of teacher creativity in designing fun teaching and learning activities so that they can lead children to the proper stages of cognitive, language, and social emotional development. The method consists of several stages including socialization, assistance in writing and compiling stories, training and assistance in designing story telling media based on pop up frames, mentoring learning techniques and PBM practices, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results of the implementation show that partners play an active role in participating in training and mentoring activities. At the stage of socialization, the teacher asked questions and shared learning at KB Isykarima. At the training stage, partners also play an active role in discussions with group friends in compiling stories that contain elements of character. Next, the teacher mentoring stage was carried out to practice making story telling media based on pop up frames and continued with the practice of story telling learning activities using pop up frames. The evaluation stage was carried out through distributing questionnaires using google forms. Keywords: Learning Media, Pop up frame, Storytelling, Early Childhood  ABSTRAK Stimulasi tumbuh kembang anak dengan media inovatif pada masa golden age sangat penting dilakukan agar dapat meminimalisasi disfungsi tumbuh kembang. Untuk itu, pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan membantu permasalahan mitra terkait kurangnya kreatifitas guru dalam merancang aktifitas belajar mengajar yang menyenangkan sehingga dapat mengantarkan anak pada tahapan perkembangan kognitif, bahasa, dan sosial emosional yang seharusnya. Adapun metode pelaksanakan program ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap meliputi sosialisasi, pendampingan menulis dan menyusun cerita, training dan pendampingan mendesain media story telling berbasis pop up frame, pendampingan teknik pembelajaran dan praktik PBM, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa mitra berperan aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pada tahap sosialisasi guru aktif bertanya dan sharing pembelajaran di KB Isykarima. Pada tahap pelatihan, mitra juga berperan aktif dalam diskusi dengan teman kelompok menyusun cerita yang memuat unsur karakter. Selanjutnya dilakukan tahap pendampingan guru melakukan praktik membuat media story telling berbasis pop up frame dan dilanjutkan praktik kegiatan pembelajaran story telling menggunakan pop up frame. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form tentang pemahaman mitra dan keberhasilan mitra dalam praktik membuat media story telling berbasis pop up frame. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Pop up frame, Storytelling, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the most common transitivity process and the extent to which students' recount  texts implement it. This study analyzed 22 texts that were selected from student-written recount texts..The transitivity process was analyzed by the researcher using a descriptive qualitative method. Six processes were identified by the research's findings: the material process (57%) followed by the mental process (29%), the relational process (4,9%), the verbal process (3,2%), the existential process (3,2%), and the behavioral process (2,7%). The material and mental processes were found to be the most prevalent. Because the text the students wrote was a recount, it suggests that they were aware of the proper format for recount texts. As a result, they concentrated more on how to recount past events and actions.that already took place. Students are competent in using the six different types of procedures, even if they mostly employ material.

Abstract

Profesioanlitas dan kreativitas guru memegang peran penting dalam pembelajaran. Bentuk penerapan kreatifitas dalam pembelajaran misalnya melalui penggunaan media yang beragam. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam membuat dan menggunakan media Puppet untuk pembelajaran di TK Muslimat NU Tarbiyatul Athfal II Desa Panggang Kecamatan Jepara Kabupaten Jepara. Pengabdian ini memanfaatkan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) dengan aset berupa kain perca yang banyak sehingga harus dimanfaatkan menjadi barang yang berguna. Guru juga menjadi aset berharga yang harus terus dikembangkan kreativitasnya. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni meningkatnya kreativitas 14 guru TK Muslimat NU dalam membuat dan menggunakan boneka Puppet untuk pembelajaran. Produk dari pengabdian berupa media puppet sebagai media story telling sehingga menjadikan pembelajaran di TK Muslimat NU Tarbiyatul Athfal II panggang menjadi lebih menyenangkan.
