Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest of students to be active in receivinglearning to analyze the contents of the exposition text. Motivation and creativity areneeded to present learning that fosters students' interest in learning and receiving material.The method chosen based on the innovation of the researcher presents an interesting andimpartial method of active and less active students with the time token method. Relatedto the background of the problem, the main problem studied is how is the effectivenessof the time token method in learning to analyze the contents of exposition text in classX students of SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang in the academic year 2019/2020? The purpose ofthis study is to describe the effectiveness of the time token method in learning to analyzethe contents of exposition text in class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang in theacademic year 2019/2020. The research method used in this study is quantitative. Theresearch data were obtained from the results of tests and non-tests of class X studentsof SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang in the academic year 2019/2020. In quantitative research thedata obtained from the test results will be analyzed with the data analysis techniques ofnormality test, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the results of the study obtained anaverage value of 81.286 experimental class with a good value category. While the controlclass obtained an average value of 59.071 with a less value category. This proves that thetime token method is effective in learning to analyze the contents of exposition text inclass X students of SMA Negeri 3 Pemalang in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Bagaimanakah kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap bahan ajar teks cerita pendek dengan penerapan strategi transformasi cerita pengalaman pribadi  untuk peserta didik kelas IX SMP di kabupaten Pati? (2) Bagaimanakah pengembangan bahan ajar teks cerita pendek dengan penerapan strategi transformasi cerita pengalaman pribadi  untuk peserta didik kelas IX SMP di kabupaten Pati? Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode R&D (Researcd and Development). Tahapannya meliputi (1) menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik dan guru, (2) penyusunan draf prototipe, (3) validasi pakar, (4) revisi draf produk, (5) uji produk, (6) analisis FGD bahan ajar, dan (7) protoptipe bahan ajar teks cerpen . Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan teknik angket. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data kualitas media menggunakan teknik validasi oleh validator ahli pakar. Hasil validasi bahan ajar yang didapat dari uji ahli adalah 84 % dengan kategori baik atau layak diuji cobakan. Hasil ketercapaian ketuntasan belajar menunjukkan sebanyak 80% peserta didik memperoleh nilai diatas KKM setelah menggunakan buku pengembangan bahan ajar teks cerita pendek dengan penerapan strategi transformasi cerita pengalaman pribadi  untuk peserta didik kelas IX SMP . Artinya, bahan ajar ini diperlukan dan dapat membantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran serta peserta didik dalam meningkatkan ide kreatifitas dalam menulis teks cerpen  sehingga memperoleh nilai diatas KKM. Kata kunci: Teks Cerpen , Transformasi, Pengalaman Pribadi

Abstract

This research is motivated by one of the conflicting problems in the form of appreciation of life in society, namely poverty. This poverty is associated with the literary works of Kawi Matin di Negeri Anjing and Dunia Kecil yang Riuh Novel by Arafat Nur. The method applied in this research is a literary sociology approach along with the five dimensions of poverty. This research aims to determine the depiction of poverty in the novel Kawi Matin di Negeri Anjing and Dunia Kecil yang Riuh using sociological literature studies. Method Data collection was carried out using literature study techniques. This research uses qualitative research. The steps used in processing this research data were looking for references such as books, journals, etc., reading the entire contents of the two novels, understanding and marking statements that describe poverty, classifying the data based on problems, and carrying out analysis. The results of this research show that there were 116 data points related to five dimensions of poverty and their impacts: basic poverty, helplessness, vulnerability to emergency situations, dependency, and alienation, as contained in the novels Kawi Matin di Negeri Anjing and Dunia Kecil yang Riuh. The suggestions that the author can convey in this research can be used as reference material in conducting research on different topics or by increasing the novelty of future research.
