Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) the relationship of active cadets in the classroom with the score of accounting basics courses in Polytechnic Bumi Akpelni and (2) the form of active cadets in the classroom during accounting basics courses. The population on this study is the KPN cadets of Polytechnic Bumi Akpelni. The data collection was carried out by using the questionnaire method. The trial of this instrument simple regression analysis was used and carried out by 60 cadets of the KPN study program. There are assumptions that it must be met in a regression analysis. These assumptions include normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity and autocorrelation. The results of this study are: (1) There is a relationship between the activeness of cadets in the classroom and the score of accounting basics courses at the Polytechnic Bumi Akpelni. The score of accounting basics courses which influenced by the activeness of cadets in the classroom is 68.7%. While 31.3% is influenced by the other factor of outside this study. (2) The form of active cadets when learning the basics accounting includes asking about the material being taught and being active in solving problems given by the lecturer.

Abstract

Stres pada taruna/taruni baru disebabkan kesulitan dalam melakukan penyesuaian diri dibidang akademik maupun non akademik. Binafital bagaian dari syarat wajib untuk taruna/taruni baru sebelum mereka dikatakan sebagai taruna/taruni. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi manajemen coping program pembinaan fisik dan mental dalam mempersiapkan calon taruna/taruni baru Politeknik Bumi Akpelni. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif berdasarkan observasi langsung kepada narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan manajemen coping stres diketahui bahwa subjek berjenis kelamin laki-laki 75,6 % lebih banyak menggunakan problem focused coping dibandingkan menggunakan emotion focused coping 24,4 %. Subjek berjenis kelamin perempuan 87% secara keseluruhan lebih menggunakan problem focused coping dibandingkan menggunakan emotion focused coping 23%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the existence of public policy uncertainty in the concept of good governance which can be a source of non-compliance by people to law or public policy, understanding of competence and commitment to understanding the marketing of domestic products is still low and the facilities and infrastructure in increasing the marketing potential of domestic products are less supportive. The population in this study were MSME industry players and 250 respondents. Data collection was carried out using the questionnaire method via Google form and direct interviews. The test of this instrument was carried out on 50 industrial players in the 3 tp area. The methodology used uses a qualitative approach where data collection techniques use observation techniques (observations), literature studies and interviews (interviews). Analysis of the data used is to use a form of qualitative descriptive method. The observation results obtained are the ability to implement public services in carrying out and serving to provide services to help the community according to what is promised in an appropriate and reliable manner and the reliability of employees in providing services greatly assists the community in providing the promised services, accurately and as expected. The third dimension is Responsiveness ( responsiveness).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of employee performance and work environment on the smooth yarn export of PT Bitratex Industries Semarang. Associative quantitative research is the type of this research. The research sample amounted to 92 people, while the population amounted to 1,097 workers of PT Bitratex Industries Semarang. Simple Random Sample or SRS is a probability sampling approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire distribution. Based on the partial T test results (X1 (work environment) tcount value 4.299> ttable 1.987), then Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted because there is a positive and significant influence. Employee performance has a positive and significant influence on the smooth export of yarn, then Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted based on the results of the partial T test X2 (employee performance) tcount value 4.540> ttable 1.987. Based on the results of the F test (simultaneous) variable Y (smooth yarn exports) obtained a value of fcount 66.314> ftable 3.10, then Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted, this indicates that the work environment and employee performance together have a positive and significant effect on the smooth export of yarn. The two independent variables have an effect of 59.8% on the smooth export of yarn.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies onworkplace safety and the efficiency of tin metal export processes at PT. Timah Tbk. The researchemployed a quantitative method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 40employees of PT. Timah Tbk. Based on the T-test results, the relationship between variable X andY1 yielded a t-value of 20.365 > t-table value of 2.024 and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05,indicating that OHS policies (X) significantly influence workplace safety (Y1). Thus, Ho1 isrejected, and Ha1 is accepted. OHS policies positively and significantly impact workplace safety,leading to the rejection of Ho2 and acceptance of Ha2. Additionally, the T-test results for variableX and Y2 yielded a t-value of 23.176 > t-table value of 2.024 and a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, indicating that OHS policies (X) significantly influence the efficiency of the export process(Y2). Consequently, Ho2 is rejected, and Ha2 is accepted. The independent variable contributes91% to workplace safety and 93% to the efficiency of tin metal export processes at PT. Timah Tbk.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the extent to which production processes and quality control contribute to the improvement of garment production effectiveness at a garment company in Semarang. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. In this case, the sample is 66 employees from the physical and final quality control (QC) departments. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, including the coefficient of determination test 1 (R2), simultaneous test (F), and partial test (t). The results of hypothesis testing in this study indicate that the production process has a positive and significant effect on production effectiveness, where the significance value of t < 0.001 is < 0.05 and the calculated t of 5.282 > the table t of 1.67722. Furthermore, quality control also has a positive and significant effect on production effectiveness, where the significance value of t is 0.002, which is < 0.05 and the calculated t of 3.297 > the table t of 1.67722. Simultaneously, the production process and quality control have a positive and significant effect on production effectiveness, where the significance value of F < 0.001 is < 0.05 and the calculated F value of 344.555 > the table F of 4.043.

Abstract

 The procurement system for goods and services in the maritime sector often faces serious challenges related to transparency, accountability, and efficiency, which may lead to corrupt practices and operational inefficiencies. Blockchain technology emerges as an innovative solution that offers a decentralized and immutable record-keeping system, thereby enhancing trust and integrity in procurement processes. This study aims to analyze the role of blockchain technology in improving transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the procurement system within Indonesia’s maritime sector. By using a qualitative approach, namely by collecting qualitative data through in-depth interviews with stakeholders in the maritime industry, shipping companies, port authorities, and logistics providers. The findings indicate that blockchain implementation enhances information transparency, strengthens accountability mechanisms, and accelerates processes while reducing errors in procurement. The study concludes that blockchain technology holds strategic potential to drive procurement reform in the maritime sector toward better, more efficient, and integrity-based governance.

Abstract

The transformation of tax administration through the adoption of new regulations and digital technologies represents a strategic step toward strengthening the national taxation system. This study explores how the implementation of new policies affects efficiency, transparency, and compliance within tax administration, while also examining the challenges and opportunities that arise in the process. The digitalization of procedures—such as electronic tax filing and payment—has improved data accuracy and enhanced accessibility for taxpayers. Core technologies, including the Tax Management Information System (SIMP), e-Filing, e-Payment, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, are increasingly recognized for their ability to accelerate service delivery and effectively detect potential tax fraud. However, this transformation still faces significant hurdles, including infrastructure limitations, a shortage of skilled human resources, low levels of digital literacy, concerns over data security, and high system integration costs. This research aims to: (1) assess the impact of new regulatory frameworks on tax administration reform; (2) identify the most effective digital technologies supporting this transformation; and (3) uncover the main challenges and opportunities associated with the tax administration transformation process in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with taxpayers across several districts in Semarang City. The study recommends increased investment in infrastructure, enhanced human resource capacity, stronger cross-sector collaboration, and the implementation of comprehensive data security policies. With careful planning and a collaborative, cross-sectoral approach, digital tax administration reform can lay the foundation for a more adaptive, transparent, and accountable tax system in the digital age.

Abstract

The transformation of maritime supply chains into more sustainable systems presents both a challenge and a strategic opportunity to enhance the competitiveness of marine products. This study explores the integration of sea transportation based on green logistics principles as an approach to generating added value in maritime product marketing. A qualitative case study method was employed, focusing on seafood processing and distribution businesses in the coastal areas of Central Java. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, and processed using triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that implementing green logistics in sea transportation significantly reduces logistics costs, minimizes carbon emissions, and accelerates product distribution to key markets. Moreover, the integration of information systems and renewable energy-based fleet management has proven to improve operational efficiency and enhance the sustainability image of the products in the eyes of consumers. The study underscores that collaboration among government bodies, industry players, and local communities is essential in developing environmentally friendly and economically valuable maritime transport systems. In conclusion, the green logistics strategy contributes not only to ecological benefits but also to the increased competitiveness of maritime products in both domestic and international markets.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of the role of human resources and infrastructure in supporting the smooth running of loading and unloading activities. The study aims to determine the impact of human resources and TUKS infrastructure on the operational performance of loading and unloading activities at PT Timah Tbk, Muntok, Barat. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, with the research population consisting of all 38 workers involved in loading and unloading activities. The F-test shows that human resources and TUKS infrastructure have a positive impact on the operational performance of loading and unloading activities, with an F-value of 13.568, which is greater than the F-table value of 3.27, and a significance level of 0.000. With an R value of 0.661, it is found that 43% of the operational performance of loading and unloading activities is influenced by human resources and TUKS infrastructure, while 56% is influenced by other factors such as weather and operational systems. Therefore, enhancing human resources through training and developing infrastructure are strategic steps to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of loading and unloading operations at PT Timah Tbk
