Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan media lectora inspire berbasis model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. setelah dilakukan Uji Coba I dan Uji Coba II, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kategori valid, praktis dan efektif dengan dengan nilai rerata total hasil validasi ahli sebesar 4,07; nilai keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran dengan nilai rerata total 4,25 kategori tinggi maka media adalah praktis. Ketercapaian keefektifan media lectora inspire berdasarkan pada: (1) ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal yaitu sebanyak 87,5%; peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan Nilai n gain 0,6 (2) ketercapaian ketuntasan tujuan pembelajaran dengan rerat nilaii 75% (3) angket respon siswa berada pada kriteria positif dengan nilai 88,8% pada kriteria tinggi (4) Penggunaan waktu Pembelajaran telah mencapai kriteria penggunaan waktu pembelajaran yang tepat dengan nilai pada kategori tinggi sehingga media lectora inspire yang sudah efektif telah ditemukan.

Abstract

This research is development research so that the product of this research is a learning tool with the Contextual Teaching Learning model on differential and integral application material. The aim of this research is to describe: 1) the validity, practicality and effectiveness of learning tools using the contextual teaching learning model to increase students' problem solving abilities in differential and integral application material; 2) increasing students' problem solving abilities using learning tools with contextual teaching learning models on the developed differential and integral application material.  This research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 development stages, namely Analyze, Define, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The results of this research were obtained: 1) the learning device using the contextual teaching learning model to increase students' problem solving abilities in the differential and integral application material developed has met the valid criteria according to experts and from the results of trial I and trial II of the learning device has met the practical and effective criteria; 2) Increasing problem solving abilities using learning tools with a contextual teaching learning model on differential and integral application material that has been developed seen from the N-gain value in trial I of 0.41, increasing to 0.42 in trial II, and is within "medium" category.

Abstract

This research aims to develop LKPD based on guided discovery learning to improve students' problem solving abilities with the help of geogebra that is valid, practical and effective. This research uses research and development (R&D) research along with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The subjects of this research were 35 students in class XI-MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The research that has been carried out shows the results that the LKPD is in the valid category, seen from the results of expert validation of the LKPD reaching a percentage of 79%, the RPP reaching a percentage of 81% in the valid category, pre-test and post-test validation with a percentage of 88% and 91% which is classified as very valid. The LKPD was declared practical from the assessment of mathematics teachers and students through a response questionnaire with a percentage of 90% and 84% classified as very practical. The effectiveness of the LKPD is observed from the students' classical completion through the students' pre-test and post-test. There were 30 students who completed the test with a percentage of 86% and an increase in problem solving abilities as measured by the N-Gain calculation, namely with a value of 0.63, which is considered moderate. So that LKPD is effective in further improving students' problem solving abilities. So it can be concluded that the development of LKPD based on Geogebra-assisted Guided Discovery Learning fulfills all parameters in terms of increasing students' problem-solving abilities

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan: media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Website (Google Sites) pada materi fungsi (fungsi komposisi dan fungsi invers) di SMA Negeri 15 Medan dengan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 15 Medan. Objek pada penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan berbasis Website (Google Sites) pada materi fungsi. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh: (1) media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Website (Google Sites) pada materi fungsi di SMA Negeri 15 Medan telah berkriteria valid dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” berdasarkan perolehan skor oleh ahli materi yaitu 4,37 (valid) dan ahli media yaitu 4,35 (valid); (2) penilaian pada kepraktisan media telah berkriteria praktis dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” oleh guru diperoleh skor yaitu 4,8 (praktis) dan oleh siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan besar yaitu 4,38 (praktis) dan 4,44 (praktis); (3) keefektifan pada media dari hasil tes siswa diperoleh persentase ketuntasan siswa yaitu 80% (efektif) dan persentase dari angket respon positif siswa yaitu 91,9% (efektif).

Abstract

Analisis konten kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think pair share  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian ini dilaksankan di Digital Library Universitas Negeri Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, dengan Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model kooperatif tipe TPS. Data hasil penelitian ini dihasilkan dari data sekunder atau diperoleh dari penelitian terdahulu, sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dari delapan jurnal dengan jenis jurnal eksperimen semu. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu mengumpulkan data yang ada, menganalisa data-data dan melakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis konten (isi) dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian melalui analisis terhadap jurnal eksperimen semu, diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran TPS memiliki pengaruh dalam peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share ini sangat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dikelas dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dalam peningkatan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP.

Abstract

Population growth is an essential factor in community development in an area. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) state that a country can achieve economic development and a significant demographic bonus by considering the rate of population growth. This study aims to analyze the results of projections related to the impact of population growth in the province of North Sumatra from 2020-2035 using geometric and exponential analysis approaches. This study uses geometric and exponential analysis, which has a good significance level and does not have a significant difference bias compared to other investigations. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive case study type. The data used is secondary data originating from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra Province and the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data is analyzed using a geometric and exponential approach from 2021-2035. The results showed that the population growth rate of North Sumatra from 2020-2035 using both geometric and exponential analysis did not have a significant difference and had an increase. This study also found that the impact of population growth in North Sumatra has the potential for a sizeable demographic bonus by taking into account population density to equitable distribution of education. This study provides recommendations to policymakers to make policy improvements related to the rate of population growth in dealing with the ageing population and maximizing the demographic bonus obtained in 2035.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the comparison between students' mathematical communication ability taught by Think Pair Share and Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model. The population in the study were all students in grade X MAN 2 Model Medan. The sample were all students of class X-C with 37 students as experimental class I and class X-H with 36 students as experimental class II, which were selected through random sampling technique. The experimental class I was taught by Think Pair Share cooperative learning model while the experimental class II with Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model. This research was quasi experimental with posttest only control group design. Data collection instrument used was mathematics communication ability test that have been tested for validity and reliability. Before testing the hypothesis, normality test was carried out using Shapiro-Wilk test and homogeinity test using Levene test on the research data. The results showed that the samples came from normal and homogeneous distributed population. Hypothesis testing with t-test show that t_count>t_table(2,4 > 1,666). Thus H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted, so students’ mathematical communication ability taught by Think Pair Share cooperative learning model is better than the students’ mathematical communication ability taught by Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of Geogebra-assisted inquiry learning model-based learning tools developed to improve students' mathematical reasoning. This research is included in development research. This research will be carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Gebang, Jl. Diponogoro, Pekan Gebang, District. Gebang, Kab. Langkat, North Sumatra 20856 for students in class XI Semester I for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research results show that: 1) The tools developed are valid with (a) average validation results for lesson plans of 4.34, teaching materials of 4.23, Student Worksheets of 4.24, mathematical reasoning ability tests of 4.18 . 2) The device developed was categorized as practical with the results of trial I scoring an average of 3.07 ("Medium" category), while in trial II the average was 4.04 in the "High" category; 3) the tool developed is categorized as effective because (a) Achievement of the final test of students' Mathematical Reasoning ability in trial I was 52% with the number of students as many as 21 students (58.33%) being declared complete and trial II 30 students completed or 83 .34%. (b) the student response questionnaire score in trial I was 89% and in trial II was 95%. 4) there was an increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities with a score of 0.28 (0.3 <g≤0.7) in trial 1 and trial II there was an increase in scores with "medium" criteria with a score of 0.67 (0.3 < N-Gain ≤0.7).

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Android media based on the realistic approach that was developed, (2) determine the increase in students' mathematical problem-solving skills using Android media based on the realistic approach that was developed. This research is development research. The development model used is the Plomp & Nieveen Development model which consists of three phases, namely the preliminary phase, the development or prototyping phase, and the assessment phase. Based on the results of trial I and trial II, it was found that: 1) Android media based on a realistic approach to improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills were developed which met the criteria of being valid, practical and effective; 2) Increasing problem-solving skill using Android media based on a realistic blended learning approach that has been developed as seen from the N-gain value in trial I of 0.55, increasing to 0.60 in trial II, meaning it is in the "medium" category.
