Abstract

This research aims to give learners a stimulus about the variety of art in thematic which is one of the sustainable material models with various descriptions in local traditions and wisdom in the community by explaining the various understandings and history in it with facts and concepts later in order to hone their brains about culture. Research method in this ha used is Waterfall Research and Development model with stages ranging from analysis, design, implemntasi and testing and the end of maintenance. Then the results of the study showed from the material content test or produck got an average of 75.6% with a decent category then researchers tried the test and implementation to students numbering 10 people and got an average of 81.6% categorized into satisfaction with a score of 80 in the category agreed. Therefore, it can be concluded that puzzle media for learning facilities in sharpening the brain of learners can improve their abilities and make learning fun.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and reveal the impact of excessive smartphone use, which then leads to phubbing. This research study was conducted in May 2020 on 30 students of Uin Sunan Kalijaga as respondents or research subjects. This type of research is qualitative research and interviews with all research subjects, and literature review. The results of the study were recorded that 92% of 27 respondents revealed that a phubber did not give appreciation and was more likely to underestimate the other person. So, planting and practicing Pancasila values in everyday life is very important to carry out. This is so that each individual can fortify and organize himself against wise smartphone use. Then it is hoped that through this research study, students as the nation's next generation will realize the impact of excessive smartphone use on social life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a digital quotient-based flipbook media to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes in Islamic universities. This research is an innovation in the implementation of online learning in Indonesian language courses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is Research & Development (R&D) 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The developed product was tested on students to determine the effect on learning outcomes. Based on the results of the media expert's validation, it was obtained in the Very Good category with an ideal percentage of 95%, and the material expert validation obtained an ideal percentage of 90% with the Very Good category. This indicates that the digital quotient-based flipbook learning media book is feasible to be used as a learning medium. Then the media was tested on students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga and UIN Sunan Ampel, the data obtained was 2,787 > 2,145 = significant. The data shows an increase from before being given the media to before being given the media. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of flipbook media based on digital quotient is effective in improving student learning outcomes.  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media flipbook berbasis digital quotient untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan inovasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran online pada mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research & Development (R&D) model 4D (Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate). Produk yang dikembangkan diuji cobakan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media didapatkan kategori Sangat Baik dengan persentase keidealan sebesar 95%, dan validasi ahli materi mendapatkan persentase keidealan sebesar 90% dengan kategori Sangat Baik.  Hal ini menandakan bahwa buku media pembelajaran flipbook berbasis digital quotient layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kemudian media diuji cobakan terhadap mahasiswa UIN Sunan Kalijaga dan UIN Sunan Ampel diperoleh data 2,787 > 2,145 = signifikan. Data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari sebelum diberikan media menjadi sebelum diberikan media. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa  pengembangan media flipbook berbasis digital quotient efektif mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out the pattern of online Indonesian learning that has been running during the Covid-19 pandemic in universities. The research in online learning focuses on online learning at the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This type of research is survey research with a qualitative approach. The results of the research are that students during online learning Indonesian use various platforms such as zoom, google meet, whatsapp, google classroom, youtube, video, quizziz, and e-learning at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The expectations of students in online learning for Indonesian language courses are (1) not monotonous, only using one platform so that students do not get bored, (2) can convey lecture material clearly, (3) platforms that do not use too many quotas, (4) platforms which can display learning material in 3D for easy learning. Now this epidemic has spread to all countries, including Indonesia. The impact of the pandemic has been felt by the entire community due to changes in life patterns. Changes in the pattern of life in question are not running normally as usual, including educational activities. Online learning is carried out by all levels, from elementary school to university. One of the subjects at the university level is Indonesian. The Indonesian language course is a compulsory subject that must be studied by all study programs at the diploma or undergraduate level.

Abstract

Kemampuan berbicara termasuk dalam kategori pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang menuntut kemampuan peserta didik dalam berbicara agar peserta didik tersebut menjadi terampil dalam berkomunikasi yang baik dan benar. Namun, apabila kita perhatikan pada realitanya, terdapat peserta didik yang belum terampil dalam menggunakan bahasa, khusunya berbicara. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan membaca teks karangan terhadap kemampuan berbicara peserta didik kelas IIIa SD Negeri Timbulharjo. Kajian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif. Metode kualitatif adalah kajian yang mampu menciptakan suatu hasil berupa data deskriptif dari objek yang diamati. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa penerapan membaca karangan memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berbicara peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan beberapa poin dari pembahasan yang mengalami peningkatan ketika peserta didik bercerita di depan kelas setelah membaca teks karangan. Mulai dari tingkat kepercayaan diri berupa mulai berminat mengajukan diri untuk unjuk kerja dan berbahasa dalam pembelajaran di kelas, bercerita dengan suara lantang, hingga pengulangan kata yang mulai terkontrol.
