Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the increase in cases of bullying which has recently been rife, bullying that occurs is not only done directly, both verbally and non-verbally. It has even happened in cyberspace through hate speech conveyed through social media. The problems in this research are; 1) What are the efforts of the PAI teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Pare in overcoming the problem of bullying at school?, 2) what are the factors that support and hinder teachers' efforts to prevent bullying at school?, 3) What methods do teachers use to prevent bullying in schools? . SMA Negeri 2 Pare is one of the favorite schools located in Pare sub-district, Kediri district. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's efforts to prevent bullying in schools. The research method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach, with key informants consisting of the principal, vice principal, teachers and students. The results of the study are: 1). By strengthening character education, 2). Increase the sense of Nationalism, 3). Increase the sense of religiosity, 4). Maintaining local culture as a student area in the character of students. Keywords: Effort, Teacher, Prevent Bullying

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih maraknya perilaku bullying di lingkungan sekolah yang berdampak pada menurunnya minat belajar peserta didik. Di SMK Tunas Harapan Jakarta, siswa yang menjadi korban bullying menunjukkan gejala kurangnya semangat dan keterlibatan dalam proses belajar. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku Bullying terhadap minat belajar peserta didik di SMK Tunas Harapan Jakarta. Bullying merupakan bentuk perilaku negatif yang dapat berdampak pada kondisi psikologis dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui angket/kuesioner tertutup terhadap sampel peserta didik kelas XI yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari dua skala, yaitu skala perilaku Bullying dan skala minat belajar, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment untuk melihat hubungan antara kedua variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara perilaku Bullying dengan minat belajar peserta didik. Semakin tinggi tingkat Bullying yang dialami, semakin rendah minat belajar siswa. Hasil Penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa Bullying di lingkungan sekolah dapat menjadi hambatan serius dalam pencapaian hasil belajar yang optimal. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan peran aktif dari pihak sekolah, guru, dan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan kondusif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pihak sekolah dalam menyusun kebijakan pencegahan Bullying sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.
