Abstract

Jesús preached the kingdom of God. Many of his parables begin: The kingdom of God is like….” But what exactly is the kingdom of God? Parables are enigmatic stories. Metaphorically they are set beside the idea of a kingdom of God, but idea the idea of kingdom is itself mysterious. Everyone who hangs around churches has heard of the parables of Jesus. They are familiar. They have been allegorized, psychologized, and sometimes reduced to pointed “lessons” on moral behavior. But mysteriously, after twenty centuries they still generate retelling and still are puzzling. Maybe the today teacher who preach must be converted. The today teacher cannot preach about the kingdom of God as if it were something somewhere out in the world beyond us. Remember, the kingdom of God is a happening, and people live within its happening. Instead we (and many teacher today) must speak the kingdom of God (and also religion preaching) happening all around us.

Abstract

Mangunwijaya introduced humanist educational philosophy and integrality. Education, according to Mangunwijaya, must create a climate that allows the child to divide themselves into an independent person. Education should aim to deliver learners in recognizing and developing human potential itself into a whole (not just the brain, but all aspects of humanity: skilled, intelligent, piety, solidarity, capable, and responsible). An education system should be humane. That is, a system of compulsory education to respect human dignity, particularly in the person of the child. Schools should thus be understood as a division of talent and togetherness with others. Consequently, the teaching system should not be alienated from the life of the concrete. That is, not merely biased cognitive, intellectualist or mere romantic extreme, but really develop talent, art, language, manners, morals, taste, religiosity, and social life.

Abstract

The Book of Proverbs is a book in both the Tanakh (Judaism), and the Old Testament (Christianity). The book contains some of the most important teaching and instructions in each of their respective Religions. Most scholars believe that Solomon was the writer of at least part of the book Other authors are mentioned as well, but these references are missing in the Greek Septuagint. The Septuagint sees King Solomon as the author of the whole Book of Proverbs This paper will punctuate the option for Christian family to apply Proverbs in family catechesis. Christian family must be helped in according to preach the value of faith. Teaching with Proverbs that influenced by any parents may be the effective evangelization.

Abstract

Masa depan, cepat atau lambat niscaya akan menghampiri remaja. Karena itu remaja harus menyiapkan diri dengan sebaik-baiknya untuk menyongsong masa depan. Belajar mempakan salah satu aktivitas yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini oleh remaja sebagai bekal menghadapi masa depan. Selain sebagai bekal menghadapi masa depan, dengan belajar remaja semakin mengenal, mengimani dan hidup sesuai dengan kehendak Allah. Sebab, aktivitas belajar pada hakekatnya merupakan aktivitas pencarian kebenaran, hingga sampai kepada Kebenaran Tertinggi, yakni Allah sendiri. Melalui Ekaristi remaja benar-benarbersatu dengan Sang Kebenaran dan belajar memaknai peristiwa kekinian untuk meraih masa depan yang gemilang dalam terang iman.

Abstract

Theological inquiry and Holy Bible preaching are not the activities of reading. It would be a human area that Bible must explored more and more. Especially for the adolescent, the preaching of Bible must serve the dynamization of them. In this context, knowing that study and preaching The Holy Bible are the problems of methodology. Quiz is the one among many methods of teaching the Holy Bible to the young peoples. Those people arefamiliar, fun, andfull ofknowledge. Thispaper will punctuate the option for us to apply quiz in adolescental catechesis. Church must be helped in according to preach the value offaith for young people. Teaching with quiz may be one of the effective evangelization methodsfor the young peoples.

Abstract

The progress of human civilization today is inseparable from the role of science. The dynamics of the pattern of our daily lives from time to time it runs in line with the dynamics of the development of science. The development of science and human civilization running together since from classical times, the middle ages, modern times, and so on. Novelty found in a period becomes an essential ingredient for other discoveries in the next period. One thing that is difficult to argue is that almost all sides of human life today has been entered by the various effects of the development of science and technology, ranging from economic, political, social and cultural, communication, education, health, and so on. All this progress is the fruit of the development of science that never recede from human studies. This paper on the one hand want to observe the philosophical basis for the world of Catholic education, and on the other hand, this article seeks to contribute a little reflection, especially for teachers of religious education in STKIP Widya Yuwana and Catholic families today. There wilderness philosophy that is so tempting to dive, but the limitations of time and space makes this paper should choose to focus. Perspective selected is Aristotelian philosophy.

Abstract

Spirituality comes from the Latin word “spiritus” which means spirit, soul and spirit. God's spirituality and Spirit are one of the transcendent relationships that human beings intend to shape themselves according to God's ideals. Saint Vincent had an infinite awareness of the poor and set an example for the community who embraced it. The Society of Social Society Vincent is one of the communities that imitates the spirit of Saint Vincent's ministry. Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SSV) is the international Christian community founded by Frederic Ozanam in Paris in 1833. The main concern of this community is to make the Church and the Catholic faith truly responsive to the conditions of society, especially the poor and neglected. This community has spread to Indonesia. SSV is now spread in various regions in Indonesia. The community area of Vincent Social Union referred to in this study is located in the parish of St Cornelius Madiun. The regional council of the SSV is located in the Parish of St Cornelius Madiun This study used qualitative research methods. Qualitative research method is a method of natural research in which researchers take data directly taken in the field. The study was conducted in March-April 2018 in the community of SSV. Research respondents in this scientific work are 8 (eight) people, 3 (three) administrators of the Regional Council, 1 (one) Spiritual Counselor, and 4 (four) Conference Organizer. The 8 (eight) respondents are still actively taking care of the SSV community to date. This scientific work was written with the purpose of knowinghow far the respondent lived the spirituality of Saint Vincent de Paulo in his ministry. The results show that most respondents understood the background of Saint Vincent, but the whole respondent did not know all the virtues of Saint Vincent. The respondents in this study knew the essence of the SSV, although there were still efforts to further develop this community among youth in particular.

Abstract

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the entire Christian life (LG 11). The Eucharist is said to be a source of life because in that celebration people gain the powerof life from the proclaimed word. The Eucharist is said to be the summit because the whole life of the Christian community is fixed and leads to the Eucharist as the apex.STKIP Student Widya Yuwana Madiun is formed as a catechist who will proclaim Christ, so it is important to always follow the Eucharist. Many students celebrate theEucharist with the wrong motives that they consider the Eucharistic celebration to be the obligation of the campus, even tends to choose not to attend. Based on thatbackground, the researcher wants to see how the students understand about the Eucharistic sacrament, what is the student's motivation to engage in the Eucharisticcelebration held by the campus, and what is the sacrament of the Eucharist for the students. This research uses qualitative method. Data collection techniques usedin this study is structured interviews. Based on the data analysis, the result of the research and conclusion are as follows: theoretically the students have understood andknow about Eucharistic sacrament, the motivation in following the Eucharistic celebration, and the meaning of the Eucharistic sacrament. But most students have notloved the Eucharist in their lives. Researchers have proposals and suggestions based on the following conclusions: For the development of theological knowledge, this research is expected to be followed up with various coaching and new methods more deeply so that the compulsion is not attached to the students and students also love the Eucharist in daily life. Subsequent research is also expected to follow up on the results of this study to find the reasons why most students still feel lazy and forced to follow the Eucharistic celebration held by the campus and the solution of the problem of laziness and compulsion.

Abstract

The reality of religious radicalism in Indonesia is increasingly troubling every day, especially after reform. Religious radicalism is displayed in heartbreaking (inhuman) acts of dishonesty, such as the Bali Bombing, Poso tragedy, Ambon, Sambas, Tolikara, etc. All that is evil, such as the act of killing, terrorizing, burning, destroying fellow humans is strangely framed in the name of religion. This paper wants to limit itself to discussing religious radicalism in Indonesia from a philosophical and theological point of view. The method used is the verstehen method by listening to the reality of radicalism and looking at it in the eyes of philosophy. This becomes important for the growth of a good attitude in objectively viewing religions and living them properly in the context of a multicultural and Pancasila Indonesia. Religious theology, education and lectures should be education of peace, humanist aspects of growth, human culture bloomers, and not education about mastering religious materials that are very formal. Religious education must be in harmony with the values of the nation's called Pancasila.

Abstract

The church is always determined to serve the people of its time, and also to keep abreast of the times with its ways. The development of the technological age that is seen, one of them is the internet that provides various kinds of social networks. Facebook is one of the social networks used in everyday life and influences the user. Based on the background above, the researcher can formulate a number of problem formulations as follows: What is meant by Facebook? What is meant by spiritual life? What is the influence using of Facebook on the spiritual life of students in STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun? This study aims to describe the meaning of Facebook; describe the meaning of spiritual life, describe the influence using of Facebook on spiritual life of students in STKIP Widya Yuwana. This study used a qualitative method by collecting data through interviews with 8 respondents. Qualitative research is an open interview as an effort to examine and understand the attitudes, views, feelings and behavior of individuals or groups of people on a problem. Qualitative methods are as a form of research that is more focused on efforts to see, understand attitudes, feelings, views and behaviors both individually and in groups regarding an event.
