Abstract

Tenun songket Pandai Sikek has been known by the public ; tenun Pandai Sikek consists of balapak fabric (tenun fabric with full motif) and bacatua (tenun fabric witc spreadiang motif). The unigue characteristic of its weaving is the motif used namely Mnangkabau motif. Various creativities are done by the craftsmen so tenun Pandai Sikek is always preffered by the consumers. One of them is by packaging tenun songket pandai sikek into souvenirs and combining it with sulaman technique. The making of motif on the fabric of tenun songket pandai sikek is used to be done by pulling out the thread but nowadays the making of motif has been combined with sulaman technigue: the combination of tenun technigue and sulaman tecnigue is the newest innovation done by pandai sikek craftsmen, and i­ts only found on the songket veil not on the other produkts. Motif applied with sulaman technigue is the stylization of the shape of rose and its parts such as leaf, suluak, stem, and flower bloom. There functions of art on tenun songket namely personal function is the craftsmens aesthetics channelled through the creation of songket that’s creative and innovative without limit; fusic function is the use value of a thing or product so it can be used as the ready-used tool and media that features the beauty value of that product; social function is related to personal collection, and desire to have something is the result of someone­s collection, and desire to have something is the result of someones collective nature. Tenun songket pandai sikek can be worn and used in formal events such as inauguration, gradution, marriage, and customary events in order to be more elegant and posh. Tenun songket pandai sikek tends to have classic and modern styles.

Abstract

Hiperkolesteromia merupakan salah satu penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi kesehatan manusia. Salah satu faktor pemicu terjadinya kadar kolesterol tinggi berupa rutinnya dalam mengkonsumsi protein hewani. Daging bebek adalah salah satu sumber protein hewani yang memiliki kadar kolesterol tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh daging bebek yang rendah kolesterol. Penelitian ini menggunakan bebek pedaging sebanyak 20 ekor dengan usia 3 bulan yang diberi perlakuan kombucha bunga telang dengan konsentrasi gula aren yang berbeda-beda sebagai substratnya dan telah difermentasi selama 14 hari suhu 260C. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan menggunakan 4 perlakuan (selama 1 bulan atau 4 minggu) dan dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali pengulangan. Komposisi perlakuan sebagai berikut : P0 = kontrol, tanpa kandungan kombucha bunga telang dan konsentrasi gula aren, P1 = air minum + 20% gula aren kombucha bunga telang, P2 = air minum + 30% gula aren kombucha bunga telang, P3 = air minum + 40% gula aren kombucha bunga telang. Parameter yang diukur dalam penelitian ini diantaranya adalah kadar kolesterol, bobot tubuh, dan konsumsi air minum. Data yang dihasilkan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombucha bunga telang dengan substrat gula aren berpotensi dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol pada bebek pedaging secara nyata.

Abstract

“Saik Galamai Motif Batik in Contemporary Fashion”, aims to create contemporary fashion using saik galamai motif batik. Galamai is a typical Minang food that is cut into a rhombus shape which has the meaning of caution of the Minang people in doing, behaving and in facing something. Contemporary fashion is clothing that reflects contemporary styles and trends with the ability to combine traditional fabrics with modern styles. The creation of this work uses an exotic dramatic style with a simple fashion style that can be seen in the form of clothing that is not excessively packaged in a unique and contemporary fashion trend with current trends. The creation of this work creates contemporary clothing using saik galamai motif batik. In addition, it also provides updates to existing clothing, the artist uses brown and cream materials as the main colors. With maxmara and tulle materials using saik galamai motif batik. Realizing clothing with sewing techniques, sequin embroidery techniques and corsage decoration techniques. This fashion creation embodies deluxe ready-to-wear clothing. The deluxe ready-to-wear clothing uses sequin embroidery and corsage techniques, while the haute couture clothing uses sequin embroidery and corsage techniques
