Abstract

A lot of seventh grade students of SMP Plus Al-Mubarak found many problems in understanding their English instructional materials. Designing English Materials of Agriculture for students in SMP Plus Al-Mubarak Kalisat, Jember can motive them in learning English better. Concerning these problems, a set of suitable instructional materials of English for the students of SMP Plus Al-Mubarak needed to be developed. In addition, instructional materials should facilitate the students to enrich their experience, build their knowledge, and construct their comprehension. The instructional materials should consider where the student’ life, culture, background, interest, and their ability. The procedures being employed in this study were RD (Research and Development); collecting information, developing instructional materials, conducting expert validation, revising the materials, finishing the submitted product. (Adapted from Borg and Gall’s Model, 1983). To collect relevant information for a basis of developing materials, the interview with the teacher and students and classroom observation were carried out to complete the information provided in the existing materials. The product of this research is five units of English materials of agriculture which focuses on second semester.

Abstract

Every program presented by the mass media should meet the needs of each user. Likewise, programs on the radio are required to have good values. This research was conducted to analyze 1) the pre-production process of the Darussalam Giving Solutions (DASI) broadcast program, 2) the production process of the Darussalam Giving Solutions (DASI) broadcast program. The method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model from Milles and Huberman. The results showed 1) the pre-production stage, Radio Darussalam was very well planned, namely holding a meeting in determining material themes based on trends that occurred in the community and determining competent presenters to discuss the material described, 2) the production stage, namely the application from the planning stage of the Darussalam Giving Solutions program, using a talk show format to send questions via Whatsapp messages, SMS, telephone and via comments on the Facebook live stream. This program is also a place to provide kindness and insight for loyal listeners.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) to determine the function of the principal as an educator at SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi, (2) to determine the pedagogical competence of SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi teachers, (3) to determine the relationship between the principal's function as an educator and the pedagogical competence of SMA teachers. Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with product moment correlation analysis on data validity testing and to find data reliability using the alpha formula, while for data analysis tests used qualitative analysis for questions 1 and 2 and used quantitative analysis for question number 3. The population of this study was all 43 SMA Darussalam Blokagung Tegalsari teachers in Banyuwangi. Observation data collection techniques, questionnaires and documentation. The results found that: (1) the function of the principal as an educator in SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi was 92% which means that it has a Very Good category. (2) the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi is 91%, which means it is in the Very Good category. (3) The relationship between the principal's function as an educator and the pedagogical competence of SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi teachers is 0.599 with a percentage of 59.9% which falls into the Enough category.

Abstract

Edmodo adalah sebuah platform pembelajaran sosial untuk dosen, mahasiswa maupun untuk orang tua/wali yang dikembangkan pada akhir 2008 oleh Nic Borg dan Jeff. yang merasakan kebutuhan untuk berkembang di lingkungan sekolah/kampus untuk mencerminkan bahwa dunia yang semakin global dan terhubung, maka keduanya menciptakan sebuah alat/aplikasi yang dapat menutup kesenjangan antara bagaimana siswa/mahasiswa menjalani kehidupan mereka dan bagaimana mereka belajar di sekolah/kampus, untuk itulah maka Edmodo ada.Dalam penggunaan edmodo terdapat efek yang terjadi dalam proses komunikasi. penelitian ini menggunakan metode Analisis Domain (Domain analysis) sebab data tentang efek edmodo sebagai media komunikasi di era pandemik, akan di laksanakan sebagai tempat penelitian di lapangan. Maksudnya hasil penelitian tersebut hanya ditargetkan untuk mendapatkan gambaran selengkapnyadari suatu objek yang diteliti, tanpa perlu dirincikan secara rinci unsur-unsur yang terdapat dalam keutuhan objek yang diteliti tersebut. Dengan demikian efek edmodo sebagai media komuniksai di era pandemi covid 19 pada mahasiswa Komunikasi Dan Penyiaran Islam (KPI) adalah positif dan negatif .
