Abstract

Competent teacher can improve their abilities in managing classroom according to their students’ needs. Classroom management in early childhood education and development (ECED) post really depends on the teacher. This article aims to understand classroom management as tools of playing and studying for children in kindergarten. This study used qualitative descriptibe approach and triangulation was used to ensure the data quality. Between for class observed, class B1 was identified as the most ideal. Good ventilation and lighting, neat placement of equipments and class tools, not blocking air circulation, according to area and not blocking children play zone, also neat class decoration and clean and comfort class describe this overall class management quality.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in learning on theme 5 sub-themes 2 learning 1 in class V of SD Negeri Oelasin, Rote Ndao Regency. The research method used is through technique. Collect observational data, tests, and documentation of data analysis techniques with 23 subjects, 10 men and 13 women. In cycle I, the research results showed that as many as 12 students passed, the results of student observations were 17.39, the teacher's observations were 71.05, and the test results were 72.56 with a completeness percentage of 52.17% in the good category. In cycle II, 20 students completed, the student observation results were 91.30, the teacher observations were 88.15 and the test results were 81.39 with a completeness percentage of 86.96%, very well. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Seorang guru dituntut untuk memiliki pengetahuan terkait teknologi, pedagogi, dan konten pembelajaran dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) pada pembelajaran di kelompok B2 TK Kristen Karmel Kota Kupang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi kegiatan pembelajaran dan wawancara kepada guru kelas B2 dan kepala sekolah. Análisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru masih membutuhkan bantuan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang melibatkan teknologi. Kemampuan pedagogi guru ditunjukan dengan kemampuan menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara mandiri. Terkait konten pembelajaran, guru mampu menyusun konten pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan usía anak dan mampu menggugah rasa ingin tahu anak. Dengan demikian, penting bagi guru untuk mengikuti pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Meaningful learning is when students are actively and constructively involved and the role of students is dominant in every series of learning. Therefore, in order for students to truly carry out their role as the center of learning, learning must be fun and not boring. This study developed a learning design with an integration between the Group Investigation (GI) model and the Gamification approach. The purpose of the study was to produce a learning design (teaching module) on the material of grade V Elementary School in the subject of science with the topic "Human Blood Circulation" that is valid, interesting and practical to be used in creating meaningful and enjoyable learning for students. The learning device development model in this study is the 4-D model with the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. For the practicality and effectiveness of the developed learning design, it was tested in the learning process by 5 elementary school teachers in Kupang City. Departing from the process and stages of development carried out, it can be concluded that the learning device developed by implementing the GI model based on gamification is valid, interesting, and practical and ready to be used in creating a meaningful and enjoyable learning process for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Matematika di kelas II SD GMIT Kuanino 3. Dari 18 siswa, hanya 10 orang (55,56%) yang aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah 1–20. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri atas dua siklus, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 55% menjadi 92,5% dan 97,5%, sementara aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 46,38% menjadi 93,47%. Ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 55,56% menjadi 100%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar siswa
