Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) determine the effect of self-regulated learning on learning outcomes and (2) determine the effect of self-regulated learning on learning outcomes through student learning motivation in class V. This research is an associative research with quantitative research type, using a questionnaire path analysis model that used include The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) developed by Pintrich and Groot (1990) to measure self-regulated learning and learning motivation. The results of the analysis show that: (1) There is a significant influence between self-regulated learning on student learning outcomes, seen from the two aspects of self-regulated learning indicators related to the use of cognitive strategies and self-regulation. (2) and there is a significant effect between self-regulated learning on student learning outcomes through learning motivation, seen from the three aspects related to self-efficacy, intrinsic value, and text anxiety.

Abstract

The ability to solve problems is an important thing to teach students. This is because, in real life, every individual faces various problems that need to be faced and resolved. This research was conducted with the aim of increasing students' ability to solve problems in the Global Perspective Course with the Topic: The Influence of Science and Technology in Human Life. The research method used is Classroom Action Research which includes: planning, implementing action, observation, and reflection. Before the action is taken, the initial data on student abilities are recorded by giving an initial test (pretest). This study's results indicate an increase in students' ability to solve problems in the Global Perspective Course. It can be seen from the difference in the results of problem-solving abilities in the pre-cycle, cycle one, and cycle two which continued to increase where in the second cycle 80%, namely 92.1% (35 students) were able to solve problems well and scored above the completeness standard. There is an increase in the activity of lecturers and students from cycle I to cycle II, which is above 80%.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 membawa berbagai perubahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, sekolah sebagai bagian dari masyarakat juga terdampak oleh pandemi tersebut. Pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19 yang menitikberatkan pada pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka terbatas tentunya berdampak pada kualitas pembelajaran itu sendiri. Kualitas pembelajaran dalam kajian pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan pada pencapaian keterampilan berpikir HOTs; untuk itu, bagi guru dalam kondisi pandemi saat ini perlu mengembangkan pembelajaran yang relevan dengan karakteristik pembelajaran abad 21 dengan mamaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi dan waktu terbatas. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yakni melatih keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis HOTs dalam kondisi pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan yakni persiapan, sosialisasi, dan pendampingan. Kegiatan di hari pertama, guru diberikan penjelasan terkait dengan pengembangan RPP berbasis HOTs yang ditekankan pada kondisi pandemi covid-19; sedangkan pada hari kedua guru-guru dibagi dalam kelompok kerja untuk menyusun RPP berbasis HOTs yang dipandu oleh tim dosen. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam mengembangkan RPP berbasis HOTs di masa pandemi dan satu set RPP untuk kelas satu sampai dengan kelas enam Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Publikasi ilmiah salah satu hal yang menjadi muara dari karya-karya inovatif yang dilakukan guru terkait proses pembelajarannya. Karya-karya inovatif yang diciptakan dan telah diterapkan kemudian dipublikasikan agar dapat diketahui, dipelajari dan diterapkan oleh guru-guru lainnya. Dengan demikian karya inovatifnya tersebut dapat bermanfaat dan berefek secara meluas bagi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang telah ditemukan di sekolah dasar maka dapat difokuskan permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra sekolah sebagai berikut: 1) Keterbatasan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang publikasi ilmiah untuk pengembangan profesionalisme dan karir guru SD, 2) Rendahnya kompetensi menyusun proposal penelitian yang aplikatif untuk dilaksanakan oleh guru SD, dan 3) Rendahnya kompetensi tentang penyusunan artikel ilmiah dan prosedur mempublikasi-kan artikel ilmiah. Untuk itu kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi tentang permasalahan dikalangan guru SD tersebut. Dengan adanya kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini untuk membekali pemahaman secara komprehensif bagi guru SD tentang Kebijakan Pengembangan Karir Guru dan Regulasi Tentang Publikasi Ilmiah untuk Guru sehingga membuat para guru dapat meningkatkan wawasannya tentang Kebijakan Pengembangan Karir Guru dan Regulasinya, Memberikan Pelatihan kemampuannya secara teknis dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan penelitian pendidikan di SDI Oecapa 1 Kota Kupang, Meningkatkan kemampuannya secara teknis dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah yang layak dipublikasikan.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of improving the initial reading ability of the first graders of SD Inpres Mapoli. This type of research is CAR which is carried out with the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting with the research subjects being grade 1 students, totaling 15 people. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation and test techniques, then the data obtained would be processed and analyzed further using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the pre-cycle data obtained by the researcher, there were 2 students (13.3%) completed and as many as 13 students (86.6%) did not complete, so the researcher needed to take action and get results in the first cycle as many as 6 students. (40%) completed because they can read vowels and consonants and spell syllables into words, while there are 9 students (60%) who have not finished because students are less active and lack concentration in reading vowels and consonants. Furthermore, in the second cycle, there was an increase, namely as many as 13 students (86.7%) completed, which means the teacher began to be able to overcome the deficiencies that occurred in the first cycle. However, there were still 2 students who had not finished in the second cycle, so the teacher needed to find a way to solve the problem. can overcome the shortcomings of these students with the need for cooperation with parents of students and a more approach to these students. The increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes from cycle 1 to cycle 11 is 46.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in learning on theme 5 sub-themes 2 learning 1 in class V of SD Negeri Oelasin, Rote Ndao Regency. The research method used is through technique. Collect observational data, tests, and documentation of data analysis techniques with 23 subjects, 10 men and 13 women. In cycle I, the research results showed that as many as 12 students passed, the results of student observations were 17.39, the teacher's observations were 71.05, and the test results were 72.56 with a completeness percentage of 52.17% in the good category. In cycle II, 20 students completed, the student observation results were 91.30, the teacher observations were 88.15 and the test results were 81.39 with a completeness percentage of 86.96%, very well. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning about themes. 3 things around me sub-theme 3 Changes in the form of learning objects first, in class 3 SDI Lasiana, with the discovery learning model. this type of research is classroom action research is an examination of learning activities in the form of action, which are deliberately raised and occur in a class together, with the following stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. by selecting the SD Inpres Lasiana, Kupang, grade 3 location. the subjects of this study were 25 grade 3 students. data collection was done through observation and testing techniques. the results of the study in the first cycle of the class average value of 60.2 increased to 81.4 in the second cycle, with an increase in the average value from cycle I to cycle II of 21.2. The percentage of classical learning completeness in the first cycle, which was 44%, increased to 92% in the second cycle, with an increase in the percentage of 48%. student activity in cycle I was 62.66 and increased to 80.3 in cycle II, an increase of 17.64. It can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model in learning about theme 3 things around me sub-theme 3 changes in the form of learning objects 1 can help students in SDI Lasiana Kupang city's class 3 achieve better results

Abstract

The scientific approach is one of the approaches in classroom learning activities to accommodate the needs of students in learning. The topic of heat transfer by conduction includes knowledge (science products) and science process skills which in order to study them require an appropriate and efficient approach according to the characteristics of the material. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of grade 5 students on heat transfer by conduction. This study applies a class action research design. The subjects of this study were 34 grade 5 students at SDK St. Joseph 4 Kupang City. Data collection was carried out by means of observation and learning achievement tests. The instruments used were questionnaires and learning outcomes test questions totaling 10 multiple-choice questions. The results showed that the results of the action test in cycle I obtained the percentage of student learning activity of 72.45% and the percentage of students who completed the test results were 17 students with a percentage of 50% and the number of students who did not complete 17 students with a percentage of 50%. Cycle II obtained the percentage of student learning activities on average 88.7% and the percentage of student learning outcomes that were completed was 32 students with a percentage of 94.1%. However, the number of students who did not complete was 2 students with a percentage of 5.9%. Based on the results of cycles I and II, it can be concluded that the application of a scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes in grade 5 at SDK St. Joseph 4 Kupang City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's role in group tutoring services to increase the cooperation and self-confidence of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Balfai, Kupang Regency. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study are observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation study techniques. The focus of the research in this study was the teachers and students of class IV which consisted of 25 students with 12 female students and 13 male students. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the role of the teacher in group tutoring services to increase and self-confidence of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Balfai Kupang Regency, is as follows. (1) The background for implementing group guidance is to guide students who lack self-confidence. (2) The forms of group guidance used to increase student cooperation and self-confidence are group activities and group discussions. (3) The contribution of group guidance made by the supervising teacher is directing students to continue to apply the values ​​taught by the teacher, not only in the learning process but also in collaborating in group guidance in class IV of SD Negeri Balfai Kupang Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors causing the low ability of students to read at SD Negeri Sakteo.This type of research is qualitative research.It is a research procedure that produces data and is descriptive in the form of written or spoken words and observable behavior. The research subjects were 5 students of class V (five), 1 class teacher, 1 school principal and 5 parents of class V students. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation.The results of this study indicate that there are two factors that affect the low reading ability of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Sakteo, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are caused by students' low interest in reading and students' lack of reading habits.External factors come from a less supportive school environment, limited books/reading materials, less optimal teacher role, and less supportive family environment.
