Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  (1)  pengaruh kegiatan kolase bahan alam dan kolase bahan kertas pada kreativitas anak kelompok A  (2) membandingkan hasil kreativitas antara kegiatan kolase bahan alam dan kolase bahan kertas. Makna kreativitas yang paling inti adalah munculnya ide seseorang untuk menghasilkan sesuatu yang berbeda dari sebelumnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Kuasi Eksperimen Desain. Pada penelitian ini peneliti memberikan perlakuan berupa kolase bahan alam pada kelompok A1 dan kegiatan  kolase bahan kertas pada kelompok A2 di TK Putra Airlangga. Hasil kreativitas anak  diolah dengan menggunakan  uji Mann Whitney U Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji Mann Whitney U Test diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, maka penelitian ini dinyatakan adanya pengaruh kegiatan kolase bahan alam terhadap kemampuan kreativitas anak kelompok A di TK Putra Airlangga. Berdasarkan nilai rata–rata kreativitas anak yang melakukan kegiatan kolase dengan bahan alam lebih besar daripada anak melakukan kegiatan kolase dengan bahan kertas (28.84 > 10.16). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa anak yang berkegiatan kolase dengan bahan alam lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan anak yang melakukan kegiatan kolase dengan bahan kertas. Selain itu ditemukan bahwa pemberian treatment bahan alam dengan penyediaan bahan  lebih dari  3 macam mempengaruhi tingkat kreativitas anak dan sebaiknya guru memberikan  beberapa bahan yang berbeda dan beberapa contoh aneka kegiatan. Hal ini akan membuat anak lebih punya banyak kesempatan untuk  memilih  bahan yang sesuai minat anak.

Abstract

This study was motivated by ability acquisition children 's vocabulary in age 4-5 years is somewhat low, so that will impact negative in communicate with the surrounding environment. This research conducted to see children 's vocabulary acquisition at Kurnia Putra Kindergarten. This study this study used action class action research approach. Subject in study this that is child K1 (or TK A) which consists of 16 children. method data collection used is observation participatory. Data analysis techniques using statistics descriptive. Research results this is activity sing could stimulate acquisition children 's vocabulary age early at Kurnia Putra Kindergarten. the thing could be seen from acquisition child 's vocabulary in cycle I day first average category not enough as much as 87.5% and on the day second no there is category less. Cycle II days first average category not enough as much as 75% and on the day second already no there is category less. This also happened in the other 3 cycles.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to determine the effect of the teacher’s educational background on the ability to manage Early Child learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic.Design/methods/approach – This study is a descriptive correlational study with 86 ECE teachers in the Waru District as a sample. The analysis of this research uses simple regression, and the data collection process uses a questionnaire with the Google Forms platform.Findings – The results of this study are that the educational background and teacher training positively impact teachers' ability to manage Early Childhood Education (ECE) learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is proven by the R Square test obtained 0.467. In addition, the more mature ECE teachers are in line with the teacher's performance in managing ECE learning. So that in general, the educational background of teachers in Waru Regency has met the qualification standards set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 137 of 2014 concerning National Standards for Early Childhood Education.Research implications/limitations – This study interprets that educational background, such as certificates, Linearity of education majors, and professional teachers’ certification, can affect teacher performance in learning management in early childhood education.Practical implications – This study contributes that the higher the level of ECE teachers with educational backgrounds and certificates under ECE, the more professional they are in carrying out the learning process in ECE.Originality/value – This study highlights that the quality of educator/teacher affects the ECE learning quality.Paper type: Research paper
