Abstract

According to the 2012 Demographic and Health Survey of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) the number were 359/100.000 of live births. In DIY, MMR 2013 recorded 204/100.000 live births. In Sleman MMR were 19 cases. Maternal mortality is influenced by many factors one of which is anxiety that can affect the condition of fetus or mother. Results of baseline study of 13 respondents, 6 respondents in good knowledge, 7 respondents in enough knowled. However, all respondents are experiencing anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge level of risk factors delivery and anxiety level of facing delivery in pregnant women trimester III at Puskesmas Sleman, Yogyakarta. This study was used analytical with cross sectional design. Subjects of study was 120 third trimester pregnant women who checkups at Puskesmas Sleman Yogyakarta on March 4 to June 4, 2015. Samples were obtained by accidental sampling which consisted of 42 respondents. Data analysis used Pearson Product Moment. Results showed that most of respondents aged 20-35 years were 35 people (83.3%), as a House Wife were 18 respondents (42.9%), the level of knowledge in fair categories were 32 respondents (76.2%), the level of anxiety in worried categories were 27 respondents (64.3%), bivariate analysis r=0.091 and p-value=0.566. In conclusion, there was no significant relationship between knowledge level of risk factors delivery and anxiety level of facing delivery in the third trimester pregnant women in the health center in Yogyakarta Sleman.

Abstract

ARIs is one of a health problem that exists in the developing countries and developed countries, this is due to high numbers since it is still in pain (morbidity) and the death rate (mortalily). A disease of ARIs in Yogyakarta still into a disease that most numerous in suffered by fives visit in all Puskesmas in the province of DIY. Especially in Puskesmas Wonosari 1 with average of ARIs patient were 576 toddlers every year. The purpose of this study was to identify relationship between basic immunization and Acute Respiratory Infections (ARIs) in toddlers aged 1-3 years in the region of Puskesmas Wonosari 1 Gunungkidul district. This research was inductive with the cross sectional design. The population were 144 of respondents. Samples was obtained by purposive of sampling techniques which consisted of 50 respondents. An instrument used questionnaire, a pen and the interview. Analysis test used Chi-square. The Results of this research Indicated that the proportion toddlers of ARIs was 31 (62%) toddlers and babies with incomplete basic immunization were 17 (17%). A table cross between the basic immunization and ARIs obtained the value of p=0.033. In conclusion, There was a negative relationship between basic immunization and Acute Respiratory Infections (ARIs) in toddlers aged 1-3 years in the region of Puskesmas Wonosari 1 Gunungkidul district.

Abstract

Current conditions in developing countries was approximately 10 million infants were dying. These may be pressed by exclusive breastfeeding, because breastfeeding has been proven to improve the health status of the baby. Based on the baseline study conducted in Puskesmas Jetis Kota, the results of four infants exclusively breastfed resulted in weight gain between 4.800 to 6.100 grams while six partially breastfed infants weight gain between 3.350 to 5.250 grams. The purpose of this study was to determine differences of weight gain in infants between exclusive and partial breastfeeding at Puskesmas Jetis Kota. The study was an inductive study with cross-sectional design. The sampling technique was done by total sampling resulting on 20 couples of mothers and babies who had been exclusively breastfed or received partialy breastfed.This study was conducted at Puskesmas Jetis Yogyakarta on February until March, 2015 and analyzed using “t” test analysis. The results showed that weight gain of exclusively breastfed infants was 8.200 grams and the average of increase in weight gain in infants who are breastfed partial was 7.990 grams. There was 210 gram weight gain more higher in infants with exclusively breastfed. In conclusion, there was no significant differences weight gain in infants with exclusively breastfed and partially breastfed infants.
