Abstract

The aim of this study was to obtain the best salinity for honey prawn (macro) egg prawn (Macrobrancium rosenbergii). This study used Completely Randomized Design, with three treatments and three replications. The results showed that with the salinity of 6 ‰ resulted in an average hatchability of 86.4%, with the salinity of 8 ‰ resulted in 70.5% hatchability, and at salinity 10 ‰ yielded hatchability of 56, 5%. The result of analysis of variance (ANOVA), hatching power of prawn egg very different between treatment. Water quality such as temperature, DO, and pH, during the study can still be tolerated by giant prawns. The results of this study recommend using a salinity of 6 ‰ to do hatching of prawn eggs.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of stocking density, the dose of ketapang leaf solution (Terminalia catappa L.) and the interaction between stocking density and dose of ketapang leaf solution (Terminalia catappa L.) on the growth of tilapia fish (Oreochromis niloticus). This research was conducted in July-August 2022 for 30 days, located on Jl RO Ulin Gang Sapta Warga Rt.07 Rw.02 Banjarbaru City. This study used a factorial completely randomized design method with 2 levels of Factor A (10 and 15 stocking densities) and 2 levels of Factor B (dose of ketapang leaf solution 2ml/l and 3 ml/l) with 3 repetitions (2x2x3). The treatments obtained were A1B1 (10 stocking density and 2ml/l ketapang leaf solution), A1B2 (10 stocking density and 3ml/l ketapang leaf solution), A2B1(15 stocking density and 2ml/l ketapang leaf solution dose). ) and A2B2 (stocking density of 15 individuals and the dose of ketapang leaf solution was 3ml/l). The fish used is tilapia seeds measuring 3-5 cm. In the results of the stocking density study, the dose of ketapang leaf solution had no significant effect on absolute growth and relative growth of tilapia fry. However, the interaction between stocking density and dose of ketapang leaf solution had a significant effect on the survival of tilapia.

Abstract

This study Aims to Determine the effect of different variations on survival seed cicada goldfish. The method used in this study is completely randomized design with 3 treatments (A = 3%, B = 5%, and C = 7%) and three replications. From these results Obtained survival rate to 83.0% Obtained treatment A, B Obtained 88.33% and 80.0% Obtained C treatment. Then the results of analysis of variance accept the hypothesis Ho that the percentage variation of different cicada extract (3%, 5% and 7%) did not Affect the survival rate of seedlings goldfish. During the last condition of water quality research support for seed viability parameters goldfish.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth of gift tilapia (Oreochromis sp) were maintained in Happa in ponds with artificial feeding. This study uses a Quasi-experimental research, which was conducted in Freshwater Fish Culture Hall Mandiangin for 2 months. Research results indicate the relative weight of the resulting growth is 293.48% and for relatively long growth is 79.41%. Test fish feed conversion value is 1.62 with a degree of efficiency of feed utilization was 61.81%. Results of water quality measurements for temperatures ranging between 28-31oC, the pH of the water ranged between 6.5-7 and brightness between 41-74 cm of water.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the periodicity feeding climbing perch caught in the waters of the swamp Malintang-Baru district-Gambut-Banjar district of South Kalimantan. The number of samples of fish caught 180 tail using fishing gear cash net. pick up a fish sampling during 24 hours, with an interval of 4 hours, ie at 20.00, 24.00, 04.00, 08.00, 12.00, and 16.00. Feeding periodicity analysis performed by calculating the fullness of the stomach contents are expressed as a percent. To determine the relationship between feeding periodicity with the fullness of the stomach contents, use statistical tests completely randomized design (CRD). The analysis showed that feeding periodicity affect the fullness of the stomach contents, at 20:00 fullness of stomach contents which is 80.9191% of maximum fish activity etching in taking food. At 24.00 (50.9722%) and 12.00 (47.7563%) of the climbing perch also actively take food, but not as active at 20:00. whereas 04.00 (12.4054%), 08.00 (21.1733%), and 16.00 (7.1414%) say of the climbing perch not perform activities takers.
