Abstract

Effective information technology governance (ITG) is vital for managing risks and ensuring proper oversight of IT in government organizations and enterprises. However, many organizations struggle with implementing effective ITG strategies, resulting in a higher likelihood of cybersecurity breaches, operational inefficiencies, and financial losses. This study addresses the urgency of improving ITG by assessing the capability level of ITG within the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (KOMINFO) in Bitung, North Sulawesi, using the widely recognized COBIT 2019 framework. By conducting interviews with key IT personnel, the study quantifies the capability level of eleven core models and highlights areas that require improvement. The results underscore the critical importance of designing and implementing effective IT governance to mitigate risks and enhance IT oversight in government organizations and enterprises. The study's findings can serve as a foundation for future efforts to improve IT governance in KOMINFO and other organizations, ultimately contributing to a safer and more secure IT environment.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan sebuah kegiatan yang disukai hampir semua orang, pariwisata berarti kita melakukan kegiatan berkunjung ke tempat-tempat wisata yang bertujuan untuk berekreasi, berlibur, ataupun untuk melepas lelah dari kegiatan yang biasa kita lakukan sehari-hari. pemerintah provinsi Sulawesi Utara pun harus mengikuti perkembangannya dengan menggunakan sistem digital yang tersedia untuk membuat system pemerintahan bisa menjadi lebih baik.Ada juga suatu sistem yang menggunakan teknologi 360 derajat ini yaitu virtual tour, virtual tour membuat suatu simulasi sebuah tempat atau lokasi yang terdiri dari rentetan gambar dari gambar tersebut di gabungkan sehingga menghasilkan sebuah gambar panorama 360 derajat, metode ini dapat memanfaatkan gambar ataupun video . Untuk itu ingin memanfaatkan teknologi ini dalam bidang Pariwisata di Sulawesi Utara agar tempat–tempat wisata dapat di ketahui oleh turis lokal maupun mancanegara dan juga untuk pemerintah agar dapat mengembangkan tempat wisata tersebut.Adapun masalah-masalah yang ada di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, yaitu kurangnya teknologi atau aplikasi berbasis android yang menyediakan informasi dengan lengkap serta informasi paket wisata di daerah tersebut.

Abstract

Universitas Klabat (UNKLAB) is one of the private higher education institutions directly affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA), located in North Minahasa, North Sulawesi. UNKLAB has approximately 3,500 students and boasts many buildings and facilities, including lecture halls, dormitories, sports fields, and more. Given the vast campus and numerous buildings, navigation is essential to help individuals find their way to specific buildings or locations. With the advancement of technology, the author identified an opportunity to implement Augmented Reality (AR) technology as a navigation aid at Universitas Klabat, utilizing iOS as the chosen platform. In this application, users can search for various locations, such as buildings, facilities, or faculty residences. The Research and Design (R&D) method was employed for this study, wherein the researcher conducted investigations and subsequently developed this application. During the application's development, one of the models within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), namely the Prototyping model, was utilized. The researcher successfully created a location-based Augmented Reality application for navigating UNKLAB's campus, and it functions effectively on iOS mobile devices.
