Abstract

The role of parents is very important in shaping and developing the character of children. Therefore, the school should be able to create a good collaboration with parents. Through parenting education in schools is expected to maximize the role of parents in the building of strenghten student's character. This research was conducted at RA Nurul Huda Kalibaru, Banyuwangi. This study used the qualitative approach with the descriptive methods of analysis and case studies. The data was collected by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the research on Character Building through Parenting Education in Schools are: 1) The school makes sharing of parenting even with the parents and school committees to establish the mutual commitment in the education of the children 2) Implementation of parenting education through parenting seminars, parental consultation days, religious lectures, ‘madin mengaji’ activities using the ummi method, teacher visits to parents of students' homes 3) The results of the achievement of character building in Nurul Huda kindergarten include a) Students were accustomed to saying greetings, b) students were polite, c) students were highly integrated d) the students concerned for their environment.

Abstract

Abstrak:Krisis akhklak masih menjadi persoalan serius bangsa ini. Berbagai berita, baik yang dirilis media cetak maupun Elektronik, mewartakan semakin merosotnya moralitas anak bangsa. Itu bisa kita lihat dengan maraknya perkelahian atau tawuran entah antar manusiawi, maupun antar mahasiswa, seperti sudah membudaya, dan intensitasnya cukup tinggi. Dan tidak hanya pendidikan akhlak anak saja yang di perhatikan oleh imam Al-Ghazali melainkan pendidikan guru juga sangat diperhatikan oleh imam Al- Ghazali sehingga seorang guru pun harus menjadi contoh yang baik pada anak-anaknya. Dan agar guru tidak asal mendidik peserta didiknya dengan cara asal-asalan atau cara yang salah, yakni dalam pemberian sanksi atau hukuman lainnya. Salah satu komponen pendidikan yang mempunyai peran signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan adalah guru. Bagiamana konsep pendidikan akhalak menurut Imam Al-Ghazali dalam pembentukan akhlak yang positif bagi peserta didik? Usaha secara sungguh-sungguh dan berkelanjutan dalam mendorong jiwa masnuia untuk berakhlakul karimah, sehingga terbentuklah Akhlakaul karimah pada diri manusia tersebut. Tugas-tugas seorang peserta didik untuk membentuk akhlak yang positif, Mendahulukan kescuian jiwa dari akhlak yang hina dan sifat-sifat yang tercela. Karena ilmu adalah ibdahnya hati, shalatnya sir dan pendekatan batin kepada allah Ta’ala. belas kasih kepada orang-orang yang belajar dan memperlakukan mereka seperti memperlakukan anak-anaknya. segala sesuatu yang menjadi milikmu sebelum mati adalah masuk duniamu, kecuali ilmu, menjadi milikmu sebelum mati adalah masuk duniamu, kecuali ilmu, dan apa yang ada diatasnya.Abstract:The moral crisis is still a serious problem for this nation. Various news, both published in print and electronic media, proclaim the declining morality of the nation's children. We can see that by the rise of fights or brawls, whether between humans or between students, as if it has become a culture, and the intensity is quite high. And it is not only the moral education of children that is noticed by Imam Al-Ghazali but teacher education is also very much considered by Imam Al-Ghazali so that a teacher must also be a good example to his children. And so that teachers do not just educate their students in a perfunctory way or the wrong way, namely in giving sanctions or other punishments. One component of education that has a significant role in the world of education is the teacher. How is the concept of moral education according to Imam Al-Ghazali in the formation of positive morals for students? A serious and sustainable effort in encouraging the human soul to have good character, so that morality is formed in the human being. The duties of a student are to form positive morals, prioritize the purity of the soul from low morals and despicable traits. Because knowledge is the worship of the heart, the prayer sir and the inner approach to Allah Ta'ala. compassion for those who study and treat them as they would their children. Everything that belongs to you before death enters your world, except knowledge, what belongs to you before death is entered into your world, except knowledge and what is above it.

Abstract

Education is defined as a means of civilizing and distributing values that can shape a better character. Character education aims to form moral, intelligent, rational, innovative, hard-working, optimistic, and confident human beings. Qur'anic character is a character that must be instilled in every child. Islamic boarding school is an environment that is able to build the Qur'anic character of every child because boarding school is an educational institution that upholds religious values. This article describes the Quranic character education applied in a islamic boarding school. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenology, which is located at girls islamic boarding school 1 of Al-Amien Prenduan. The data obtained are based on two sources, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Furthermore, checking the validity of the data by extending observations, triangulation. The results of this study are: The caregive of the girls Islamic boarding school 1 of Al-Amien Prenduan has a very important role in Qur'ani character education. student. Qur'anic character education  what the caregivers do to the female students in this boarding school uses several concepts, namely imitating the Prophet Muhammad, exemplary and habituation. This aims to make female students have good morals in line with the moral values contained in the holy book Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Supervision is a planned coaching in helping teachers and other staff in an effective work to achieve educational goals. The principal as a supervisor provides guidance and encouragement to teachers in the implementation of education and teaching, especially in terms of selecting learning methods. This research aim to describe: 1) How the principal’s efforts in dealing with teachers who has teaching method problems. 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the principal in overcoming teachers who has teaching method problems. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive techniques. In this case the researcher tries to understand the situation that occurs in MTs Raudlatul Ihsan on supervision. From the research results, the principal’s efforts in dealing teachers who has teaching method problems, namely managerial supervision, including providing facilities and infrastructure and reward and punishment, academic supervision, which includes conducting class visits or meetings and including teachers training. Supporting and inhibiting factors for the principal in dealing with teachers who has teaching methods, supporting factor : positive enthusiasm from the teachers. Inhibiting factors, internal: the amount of work and responsibility of the principal, external: lack of ability or competences of the teacher.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang sangat dibutuhkan saat ini adalah pendidikan yang dapat mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dengan pendidikan yang dapat mengoptimalkan perkembangan seluruh dimensi anak (kognitif, fisik, sosial-emosi, kreativitas, dan spiritual). Oleh sebab itu, proses pendidikan pada santri Mushalla Nurul Huda Desa Pakamban Laok Kecamatan Pragaan Kabupaten Sumenep tidak hanya berfokus pada ke fasihan santri dalam mengaji, guru ngaji juga menambah proses penanaman karakter religius pada diri seorang santri yang dilakukan setiap malam, seperti cara saliman yang benar, membaca basmalah sebelum makan, menghormati orang yang lebih tua, cara pelaksanaan shalat dan lain sebagainya. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini meliputi bagaimana Stategi Guru ngaji dalam menanamkan karakter religius Santri di Mushalla Nurul Huda Pakamban Laok dan apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat Guru ngaji dalam menanamkan karakter religius santri di mushala Nurul Huda Pakamban Laok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Sumber data penelitian adalah sumber data primer berupa data verbal dari hasil wawancara dengan para informan dan data sekunder berupa jurnal, buku dan arsip dari Mushalla Nurul Huda Pakamban Laok. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sementara teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian, strategi guru ngaji dalam menanamkan karakter religius santri di Mushalla Nurul Huda Pakamban Laok dengan menggunakan strategi pendekatan keteladanan, kedisiplinan, pembiasaan dan strategi pendekatan nasihat. Sementara faktor pendukung adalah kerja sama dan motivasi wali santri.

Abstract

The teaching profession is a functional position that requires specialized expertise in the field of education. Consequently, the role of a teacher cannot be effectively carried out by individuals lacking professional competence. This study aims to examine the leadership strategies employed by school principals in enhancing teacher professionalism at MTs Nurul Asrar Panggung, Sumenep. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the principal effectively implements leadership strategies through communicative approaches, continuous guidance, and professional development programs. These strategies have a positive impact on improving work discipline, institutional commitment, sense of responsibility, and the expansion of teachers’ pedagogical knowledge. However, the study also reveals ongoing challenges in achieving full professionalism, particularly concerning academic qualifications and the alignment between teachers’ educational backgrounds and their teaching subjects. Therefore, advancing teacher professionalism requires a more comprehensive effort, including the strengthening of school leadership and institutional policies that support sustainable competency development.

Abstract

The low quality of human resources is one of the most basic problems that can hamper the educational process, which is one of the causes of the low quality of education in Indonesia, namely the low quality of teachers. Human resources are one of the factors that need to be considered in implementing teaching activities in the field of education, and teachers are the main carriers of the intellectual growth of the younger generation.The approach used is a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is a research rule that will produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from parties directly involved in the author's research. Meanwhile, the type of research used is a case study, with the aim of obtaining a complete and in-depth description of an entity. Case studies produce data which is then analyzed to produce theories. The leadership strategy needed in schools is a leadership strategy that is able to push towards a better direction. Through good leadership strategies, a madrasa head can improve and increase teacher discipline in accordance with the goals, hopes, vision and mission carried out by the school. If the madrasah principal implements leadership strategies well and continuously in all teacher activities at school, a better work environment will be created in the future for teachers. Disciplinary problems are basic and general problems in the educational environment. At MI Miftahul Falah, common disciplinary problems usually occur in the form of teachers being late in coming to the madrasah in the morning or when lessons start in class. In responding to forms of violations committed by MI teacher Miftahul Falah, the head of the madrasah made efforts in the form of implementing rules and regulations containing rules and sanctions for teachers. The application of rules and regulations aims to instill an awareness of the value of discipline in teachers. Meanwhile, sanctions aim to provide a deterrent effect for teachers who violate the rules.

Abstract

Shaping student character is certainly the most important goal for principals to do., and every principal's leadership must have its own strategy in developing it. MTs Mabdaul Falah West Kaduara Educational Institution implements a religious program, namely Special Lessons and Hifdz Subjects. The existence of this religious program is to provide good benefits for student character shaping. The strategies implemented by the school principal play an important role in ensuring that the regulations support students' character building. The data collection mothed in this research uses interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis of this research uses the theory commonly used in qualitative research but with an updated theory from Miles, Hubarman and Saldana, namely Data Condensation. The results showed that the principal has implemented various effective strategies in developing religious programs at school. Including First, making clear and structured regulations. Second, the consistent application of reward and punishment system. Third, collaboration with external institutions. This strategy has three main implications. First, it becomes a facility for character knowledge for students. Second, it instills competitive and disciplined character values. Third, improving students' abilities in the field of religion.

Abstract

The balance between academic achievement and non-academic activities is an important factor in shaping students who are well-rounded, creative, and competitive. However, in practice, many schools and parents still focus solely on academic achievement without considering the importance of developing non-academic potential. This community service program aims to strengthen the collaborative role between schools and parents in optimizing student potential through an approach that balances academic and non-academic pursuits. The program is implemented through training, mentoring, and workshops involving teachers, school committees, and parents. These activities focused on increasing understanding of the concept of holistic education, managing study time and extracurricular activities, and effective communication strategies between schools and families. The results of the community service show an increase in awareness and synergy between schools and parents in supporting the balanced growth and development of students. Teachers have become more open to the importance of non-academic activities as a means of character building, while parents better understand that academic achievement is not the only indicator of a child's success. The collaboration that has been built has resulted in a more supportive and adaptive educational environment for the overall developmental needs of students.
