Abstract

Water activities (special swimming for those who are proficient) have many benefits. Can be compared, children learn to walk on the floor with children learning to swim directly. The different is that one is on the floor and theother is in the water. Children who learn to walk on the floor only a few motor muscles that move. While swimming all the motor muscles move. This means that children who learn to swim from a young age certainly have better motor skill. Physical improvent is more advanced in children who do not swim. Apart from being physical, swimming also stimulates more sctivr hormone, such as the hormone adrenaline. So that the end result, the level the end result, the level of intelligence can also be high. In development countries preschool aquatic sports progrsm are more focused. Introducing motormodeic aspect for basic swimming skills. Children are not taught to survive indepentently in the water and enjoy the activites they do. Swimming skil can be acquired more readily at the age of 5 years. Although some children younger that 4 years require longer introduction to learn swimming skill. Physically the child will succed in doing swimming movements after the muscle fibers and nerves are mature. The purpose of this community service activity is to share experiences in water activities for children from an early age, that is, between the ages of 1 – 4 years it will be better for children to learn quickly, and avoid the possibility of having an accident drowning in a pool. Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendidikan kepada siswa sekolah menengah pertama di Lamongan mengenai kurikulum baru dan literasi dan numerasi fundamental motor skill anak. Dosen terlibat dalam kegiatan di luar kampus ini pada tanggal 15 November 2023, melaksanakan sesi tatap muka di ruang Audio Visual Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Lamongan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah melalui survey, menyiapkan bahan dan media yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi. Sosialisasi, dan pendampingan. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kualitatif berdasarkan respon guru terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan yang diungkap dalam kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada guru-guru. Keberhasilan kegiatan diukur dari peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang kurikulum prototipe dan literasi dan numerasi fundamental motor skill, dengan target skor minimal 70. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan rerata pengetahuan siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Lamongan sebesar 48. Setelah mendapatkan materi dari tim dosen di luar kampus, terjadi peningkatan rerata menjadi 82.

Abstract

Latar belakang masalah dari pelatihan ini adalah masih minimnya pemahaman dari orang tua tentang program latihan yang diberikan oleh pelatih, sehingga sering terjadinya komunikasi yang kurang baik dan juga teknik dari atlet kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari masing-masing gaya yang ada didalam cabang olahraga renang. Dengan metode pendekatan pendampingan, pelatihan, dan pembinaan, program pengabdian pada masyarakat memberikan warna baru dalam meningkatkan teknik renang yang baik melalui program basic swimming techniques di Kota Kediri. Materi yang disampaikan adalah program parenting dalam meningkatkan kualitas basic swimming techniques di Kota Kediri khususnya pada club Arwana serta pemahaman yang dalam waktu 5 hari ini menghasilkan respon yang positif dari orang tua wali. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan adalah adanya pemahaman yang berkaitan tentang langkah–langkah yang harus dilakukan ketika melakukan gerakan teknik dalam berenang, sebagai contoh gerakan upper body dan lower body yang mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil dilapangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan best time dari masing-masing atlet baik pada kategori 200 meter, 100 meter dan juga 50 meter dengan peningkatan rata-rata 200 meter = 20.15, 100 meter = 11.05, dan 50 meter = 04.10.

Abstract

Background: The background of this research is based on the results of the researchers' observations, namely the Nusantara aerobics gymnastics team that has not been able to recruit new members from other majors and the uneven development of aerobic gymnastics talent possessed by members. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the level of interest and talent in aerobics among members of the Nusantara Aerobics Gymnastics Team in 2021. Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. The subjects in this study were members of the Nusantara Aerobics Gymnastics Team, which consisted of 30 members. The sampling technique used is total sampling because the number of members is relatively small. The data collection technique used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire for interest data and a potential talent test in a sports search. The data analysis technique is in the form of a percentage using Microsoft Excel 2016 and SPSS v.23 software for windows. Results: Based on the study results and the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the level of interest in participating in aerobic exercise on the Aerobic Gymnastics Team is included in the very high category with a percentage score range of 90% - 100%. While the aerobic gymnastics talent possessed by members of the Aerobics Gymnastics Team can be seen in the results, namely, five members are classified as potential with a percentage of 16.7%, nine members are quite potential with a percentage of 30%, 13 members are classified as less potential with a percentage 43.3%, and three members are classified as not potential with a percentage of 10%. Conclusion: In conclusion, the interest of the Nusantara Aerobics gymnastics team members is very high, but they are less talented.
