Abstract

Childbirth is a moment that has been eagerly awaited but not a few were found by women experiencing birth tears in the passenger, both in primigravida and multigravida. Improper perineal care can result in perineal conditions that are affected by lochea and moisture will greatly support the proliferation of bacteria that can cause infection in the perineum. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of vulva hygiene on the healing of wound healing of rips in the birth canal of women in BPM Midwife A. Nagori P. Simalungun in 2019. This type of research is quasi-experimental designs with the study design is two group post-test design. This research was conducted at BPM Midwife A. Nagori P. Simalungun. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers who suffered torn passenger injuries at BPM Midwife A. Nagori P. Simalungun in May-June 2019 as many as 30 people. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling. Data was collected by using a checklist sheet and an observation sheet containing the results of the post-test of healing the wound healing of rips in the passenger in labor. Data analysis using the Spearman Rho test with an alpha value of 0.05.

Abstract

Early Breastfeeding Initiation is the process of breastfeeding babies as soon as they are born and can not be postponed by weighing or measuring the baby. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Early Breastfeeding Initiation on uterine involution in postpartum mothers. This type of research is Quarsi Experimental Design with observation research. the population in this study were all postpartum mothers at Tutun Sehati Tanjung Morawa’s Clinic Deli Serdang Regency. Samples taken amounted to 10 people, used with observation techniques, which were divided into two groups, namely control (which was not given Early Breastfeeding Initiation) and intervention (given IMD).The result that the average Uterine Revolution in postpartum mothers who were controlled was 11.40 with a standard deviation of 0.54.while the intervention group performed by Early Breastfeeding Initiation was 9.20 with a standard deviation of 0.47. so there is an effect of Early Breastfeeding Initiation on uterine involution in postpartum mothers with a p-value = 0.003 (P <0.05), It is recommended that health workers do Early Breastfeeding Initiation to postpartum mothers to accelerate the decrease in uterine involution.

Abstract

Postpartum anemia is caused due to insufficient iron supplementation and excessive bleeding during or after delivery. The initial survey found that there were 5 mothers who had anemia. This study aims to determine the effect of mung bean juice on hemoglobin levels in postpartum mothers, by using quantitative research. The population in this study were all 12 postpartum mothers in the first week. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Data collection was done by using observation. The average Hb level before being given green bean juice was 12.74 gr / dL and after that was 12.75 gr / dL. The difference in mean Hb levels before and after giving green bean juice was 0.008 gr / dL. The results of statistical tests using paired sample t-test (CI: 95%) obtained ρ value of 0.972, so it can be concluded that there is no effect of mung bean juice on hemoglobin levels of postpartum mothers. For postpartum mothers to be more proactive in seeking information about anemia, as well as finding out the benefits of green bean juice.

Abstract

Postpartum mothers are mothers in the postnatal period, postpartum mothers often experience psychological stress which usually occurs in the first week to the sixth week after delivery. Mother's psychological stress usually occurs due to hormonal factors, family support, new roles, busy taking care of babies and lack of knowledge. Breast milk is a very important source of nutrition to meet the needs of babies, one of the factors that affect breast milk production is psychological stress. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between psychological stress and breast milk production in postpartum breastfeeding mothers at the Wulandari Clinic, Medan. This type of research is quantitative research with a correlation research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling with 38 respondents. The measuring instrument in this study used a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test. The result of this study is that the p-value of 0.000 is smaller than a significant value of 0.05, so there is a relationship between psychological stress and milk production in breastfeeding mothers after childbirth at the Wulandari Clinic, Medan in 2021.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Anaemia or often referred to as lack of blood is a condition in which the number of red blood cells decreases and results in insufficient oxygen-carrying capacity to meet the body's physiological needs. Problems that arise include an increase in heart rate due to the body trying to provide more oxygen to the tissues, an increase in respiratory rate as the body tries to provide more oxygen to the blood, dizziness due to lack of blood to the brain, feeling tired due to increased oxygenation of various organs including the heart muscle. and skeletal, pale skin due to reduced oxygenation, nausea due to decreased gastrointestinal blood flow and central nervous system, decreased hair and skin quality. Overcoming complaints of anaemia non-pharmacological can be done with dragon fruit. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of dragon fruit in dealing with complaints of anaemia in the Sri Wahyuni ​​clinic, Ujung Padang sub-district, Simalungun district in 2020. This study used a quantitative method, with a quasi-experimental design with a control time-series design. The population of this study were pregnant women who experienced symptoms of anaemia at the Sri Wahyuni ​​Clinic, Ujung Padang District, Simalungun Regency. The sample selection using purposive sampling of 14 people, 7 people were given intervention and 7 people as controls. The results of the study using the Wilcoxon sign rank test showed that the results for the group given pre and post-intervention p-value 0.026 <0.05. The results of the study using the Wilcoxon sign rank test showed that the control p-value was 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion is that there are differences in the two groups after being given dragon fruit in overcoming complaints of anaemia.

Abstract

A service is considered satisfactory if the service can meet the needs and expectations of customers. If reality is greater than expectations, the consumer is very satisfied. The advantages of health services provided include aspects of tangible, assurance, reliability, empathy, and responsiveness. Meanwhile, satisfaction is the response or level (pleasure or disappointment) of the patient obtained after the patient has received a health service product by comparing the perceived performance or outcome with the patient's needs and expectations. This type of research is a quantitative research that is an analytic survey with a cross sectional design which aims to determine the factors that are related to the quality of health services on the satisfaction of inpatients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam which were observed at the same time. The population in this study were all 34 inpatients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam based on an initial survey in 2022 at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. The sample in this study were 34 inpatients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam who were taken using a total sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between the quality of health services in tangible dimensions (0.084> 05), empathy (0.088> 0.05), and responsiveness (0.058> 0.05), while reliability (0.05> 0.05). assurance (0,058>0,050). With patient satisfaction. The conclusion in this study is that there is no relationship with the quality of health services on inpatient satisfaction at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is related to bleeding experienced and has a relationship with anemia during pregnancy. WHO (2016) claimed, the prevalence of pregnant women who experience anemia was 40.1%. RIKESDAS (2018) claimed, the proportion of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia ware 48.9%. During impregnation if anemia cannot be treated until the end of pregnancy, it will have an impact on the postpartum. The problem of postpartum anemia is not as widely studied as prepartum anemia. The prevalence of postpartum anemia in developing countries ranges from 50% to 80%. Purpose To determine the difference hemoglobin levels of pregnant women36 weeks and postpartum day 4. The research was carried out by analyzing comparative with a quantitative approach. Mechanical Sampling is sampling accidental 18 pregnant women 38 week, analysis using t-test-dependen. The results of this study obtained a significant difference in the average hemoglobin level of pregnant women 36 weeks and postpartum mothers day 4 of 0.97. Average hemoglobin level of 36-week pregnant women of 10,95 and postpartum mothers of day 4 of 9,98. Based on the results between the t-test, the value of sig. = 0.000. There is a difference in hemoglobin levels in pregnant women36 weeks and postpartum day 4. So, expected for health workers to carry out hemoglobin level checks in both pregnant women and postpartum mothers.

Abstract

The hospital is a social organization that is engaged in health and is able to provide disease healing and disease prevention services to the community in accordance with the expectations of the WHO (World Health Organization). Management is basically an activity that requires knowledge, art, use and implementation of activities to achieve a successful goal. Satisfaction is a view of one's happiness as well as one's disappointment with the comparison of a thought with a fruitful result or production. Community Service (PkM) aims to improve patient satisfaction. The method of implementing this PkM activity begins with collecting data on the number of unit heads in all rooms at Sembiring Deli Tua General Hospital, then making direct observations to all room units and providing socialization and education to all room unit heads. From the results of the PkM, the participant's score before the socialization activity was carried out was 60 and the lowest score was 30 with an average value of 50. After the socialization activity the highest score was 100 and the lowest score was 70 with an average value of 90. Based on the results of the PkM regarding the level of satisfaction Before socialization was carried out to all heads of the room unit, there were 16 patients who were satisfied and 14 people who felt dissatisfied. While the level of patient satisfaction after being socialized to all heads of the room unit there were 27 patients who were satisfied and only 3 patients who were not satisfied.
