Abstract

Higher education performance assessment on Accreditation requires the results and evidence of lecturer performance. Currently, the Faculty is already using FTP and Google Drive technology. However, the weakness of using these technologies is that the Faculty still has to process data manually, so it is not effective and efficient. Therefore we need technology that can help effectively and efficiently monitor and record performance along with supporting document evidence. With this web repository, the Faculty can monitor and, at the same time, be able to draw supporting evidence for the preparation of accreditation forms. The research method used in this study is a combination method between Design Thinking and Scrum methods as a method for application development.

Abstract

Digitalization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is crucial to increase competitiveness in the era of globalization. Due to cost considerations, many MSMEs continue to rely on conventional methods to manage their businesses, leading to inefficiencies in transaction handling and sales data analysis. This traditional approach often results in errors, reporting delays, and suboptimal decision-making, which can hinder growth and productivity. This study focuses on the implementation of a free cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) calculator application as a digital solution to address these challenges. The POS application streamlines the transaction process and generates real-time sales reports, ultimately improving operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. The development method used in this study is the System Development Life Cycle method. The POS application development process includes comprehensive Requirements Analysis, System and Software Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance. User feedback was collected through structured interviews and surveys to evaluate the application's ease of use and its benefits in improving MSME operations. The findings showed significant improvements in operational efficiency, as the POS application speeds up transaction processing and provides timely, data-driven insights for decision-making.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to design a website user interface for operators of children’s course institutions using the Design Thinking approach. This approach was chosen to gain a deep understanding of user needs and to create a design focused on ease of use and efficiency. The process begins with empathize, which involves deeply understanding users’ needs, emotions, and perspectives through observation and interviews. Next, the define stage aims to formulate the core problem based on empathy findings so that the solution focus becomes more accurate. The ideate stage then encourages the exploration of unlimited creative ideas to discover various possible solutions. These ideas are realized in the prototype stage, where concepts are transformed into tangible forms or simple representations that can be tested. Finally, the test stage is carried out to obtain direct user feedback so that the solution can be refined and made truly relevant to their needs. The evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with ten course operator respondents. The test results showed an average score of 82.5, which falls into the Excellent category, indicating that the designed interface is easy to use, efficient, and satisfying for users. Thus, the application of Design Thinking proved effective in producing an interface design that meets user needs and can serve as a reference for developing similar information systems.
