Abstract

Content analysis is an increasingly developing research method in Qur'anic tafsir studies for identifying patterns, key concepts, and significant relationships among elements in the sacred text. This study aims to explore deep understanding of tafsir data analysis techniques through the content analysis approach by combining quantitative and qualitative dimensions. Through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates hermeneutics, linguistics, and cultural studies, this research details the steps of the content analysis method to provide clear guidance for interpreters in confronting sacred texts. The findings show that content analysis does not only focus on linguistic aspects, but also accommodates contextual and cultural dimensions that influence verse comprehension. This method provides a positive contribution to the development of interpretation methodology, particularly in the context of thematic tafsir studies.

Abstract

This study discusses the deepening of research methodology as a strategy to improve research proposals. A good proposal requires coherence between the research problem, objectives, approach, data collection techniques, and data analysis. In practice, however, many proposals are still weak in methodological aspects and therefore need to be strengthened through a deeper understanding of research methodology. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research design. Data were collected from relevant literature and then analyzed descriptively and analytically. The discussion results show that a deeper understanding of research methodology plays an important role in helping researchers choose the appropriate research design, arrange research steps systematically, and improve the academic quality of the proposal. Thus, mastery of methodology becomes the main basis for producing a mature, logical, and feasible research proposal.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes to the way people access and understand hadith. Previously, hadith was studied through structured scholarly traditions under the guidance of qualified scholars. Today, however, hadith can be accessed instantly through various digital platforms and social media. This phenomenon provides positive impacts in the form of easier access to Islamic sources, but it also creates various challenges related to the authority of hadith scholarship. This study aims to analyze the problems of hadith authority in the modern era and its relationship with the development of social media. The research employs a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings indicate that social media has contributed to a shift in religious authority from traditional scholars to more popular digital figures. In addition, the spread of unverified hadiths, low levels of hadith literacy among the public, and the tendency to interpret hadith textually are major challenges in maintaining the authority of hadith. Therefore, strengthening hadith literacy, promoting the culture of tabayyun (verification), and optimizing the role of scholars and academics in digital spaces are necessary to preserve hadith as an authoritative source of Islamic teachings.
