Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model discovery learning pada siswa kelas X MIA 1 MAN 1 Kampar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan 6 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA 1 yang berjumlah 34 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes (observasi dan dokumentasi). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lembar observasi. Selanjutnya teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif terhadap observasi proses pembelajaran dan kuantitatif terhadap hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Hasil tersebut diperoleh berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diberikan pada akhir siklus I dan II. Pada siklus I terdapat 20 orang yang tuntas dengan rata-rata 78.4 dan pada siklus II terdapat 27 siswa yang tuntas dengan rata-rata 83.1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan menerapkan model discovery learning pada siswa kelas X MIA 1 MAN 1 Kampar pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Kata Kunci:Discovery Learning, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Abstract:The aim of this researchis to improve student’s critical thinking skills in learning mathematics by using discovery learning models in class X MIA 1 MAN 1 Kampar. This study was classroom action research conducted in two cycles with 6 meetings. Thesubjects were students of class X MIA 1 with 34 students. The data collection techniques used test and non-test(observation and documentation). The research instruments were questions of critical thinking skills and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques useddata qualitative analysisbased on the observation of learning process and data quantitative analysis based on the results of critical thinking skills test. The results showed that there was an increase in student’s critical thinking skills in mathematics. The results were obtained based on the results of tests of critical thinking skills given at the end of cycles I and II. In the first cycle there were 20 people who completed with an average of 77.8 and in the second cycle there were 27 students who completed an average of 83.1. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that student’s critical thinking skills improved by applying discovery learning models in class X MIA 1 MAN 1 Kampar in 2018/2019 school year. Keywords:Discovery Learning, Critical Thinking Skills

Abstract

This community service is in SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. The material provided is to share good practices in implementing innovative learning models. The application of varied learning models can eliminate student boredom and hone students' learning abilities, which has a positive effect on student success. This training is expected to help students think critically, reason, solve problems and make decisions. The impact that this activity is increasing teacher understanding regarding the application of innovative learning models.

Abstract

This Community Service project aimed to introduce and enhance understanding of deep learning in mathematics education among elementary school teachers. The program also facilitated the use of Quizizz platform ti help teachers create interactive and engaging assessment experiences. Considering that elementary education serves as the foundational stage for students' future mathematical competence, this initiative seeks to empower teachers to establish meaningful and effective learning experiences. The program not only promotes deeper conceptual understanding among students but also encourages the development of essential 21st-century skills, often referred to as the 4Cs: critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. Attended by 30 teachers, the program combined conceptual learning with practical implementation. Results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of deep learning and their ability to use Quizizz effectively. The initiative also fostered teacher enthusiasm and commitment to applying these approaches in the classroom. This program is expected to contribute positively to the development of meaningful learning environments and the cultivation of students’ 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration.

Abstract

Pentingnya school well-being diterapkan di sekolah sebagai bentuk menciptakan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi peserta didik. Namun hal tersebut terkadang masih diabaikan. School well-being terdiri dari empat dimensi yaitu having, loving, being dan health. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur diperoleh bahwa setiap warga sekolah harus bekerjasama dalam menciptakan sekolah yang ideal bagi peserta didiknya. Dimensi having memperhatikan kondisi dan situasi sekolah, seperti fasilitas yang menunjang proses pembelajaran maupun kurikulum yang digunakan. Kemudian loving berhubungan dengan interaksi sosial yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran dan sosial di sekolah. Dimensi being memperhatikan pemenuhan diri seperti pemberian motivasi dan penguatan kepada peserta didik. Selanjutnya health berhubungan dengan kesehatan fisik dan mental peserta didik. Pentingnya school well-being demi kebahagian dan terpenuhinya kebutuhan belajar peserta didik di sekolah.

Abstract

This Community Service Research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Mandau. The problem faced by partners is the limited knowledge about AI and its use in learning. Thus, the purpose of this training is so that teachers have sufficient knowledge and understanding of AI so that they can use it in learning practices at school. With various features offered by the Kahoot application, learning becomes interactive, this is also supported by a lot of literature and research stating that learning with Kahoot can attract students' interest in learning. The results of this training are that teachers gain additional and in-depth knowledge about AI applications, an introduction to the Kahoot application and the practice of making quizzes or formative evaluation questions for each teacher according to the subjects taught at school. All the activities that were trained went smoothly, the teachers were actively involved and enthusiastic in the practice of making evaluation questions with Kahoot.

Abstract

Merdeka Curriculum is expected to be able to create superior human resources, where students are not only prepared to become intelligent people, but also have strong moral aspects. This literature review was conducted to examine how learning based on the Merdeka Curriculum affects student character development. This research is qualitative descriptive approach. The data for this research is sourced from journal articles, books, as well as observations and interviews to strengthen the author's ideas. This research found that the 6 dimensions of the Character of Pancasila Students (Profil Pelajar Pancasila) are able to facilitate student character development. The habit of always presenting character values and competencies from the Character of Pancasila Students is able to have a good impact on student character building. The overall goal of intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities is to make students have Character of Pancasila Students. The results of observations and interviews also show that competencies and character has been running well and successfully carried out on students at school and continues to be pursued to be optimal.
