Abstract

Midwives have a high risk of being infected COVID-19 because they have a heavy workload. Midwives who work in health services also have families to protect. The threat of being exposed to COVID-19 can affect their psychological state include anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship between a history of exposure to COVID-19 in midwives and their families with the midwife's anxiety about COVID-19. This is a cross sectional study design. Sample involved in this study was 135 midwives working in Klaten Regency. The instrument uses a questionnaire. Results of the study found that there was no significant relationship between midwife's and family's history of being exposed to COVID-19 and the midwife's anxiety about COVID-19 (p value > 0.005). It is necessary to improve the design with case controls in future studies.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Ibu hamil merupakan konsumen dari segmen pasar kosmetik di Indonesia. Ibu hamil perlu mendapat pengetahuan mengenai kewaspadaan terhadap bahan berbahaya pada kosmetik ibu hamil melalui media promosi kesehatan.Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh media booklet terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil mengenai kosmetika yang aman bagi Ibu HamilMetode : Desain Penelitian ini adalah post test only control group desain. Kelompok intervensi diberikan booklet kosmetika yang aman dalam kehamilan. Pengetahuan dan sikap diukur melalui post tes menggunakan kuesioner. Penelitian ini melibatkan 54 sampel yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok intervensi dan kontrol .Hasil : Semua responden (100%) yang diberikan booklet mempunyai pengetahuan yang baik. Sebagian besar responden (70,4%) yang diberikan booklet, mempunyai sikap positif. Berdasarkan uji Chi Square, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara pemberian Booklet dengan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil mengenai kosmetika yang aman bagi ibu hamil (P value <0,001)Kesimpulan : Booklet kosmetik yang aman bagi ibu hamil efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil.Saran : Penelitian selanjutnya perlu dilakukan dengan sampel yang lebih besar dengan desain Randomized Controlled Trial untuk meningkatkan kualitas bukti penelitian. Variasi dalam metode penyampaian booklet perlu diteliti untuk meningkatkan retensi pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil. Kata Kunci : Booklet, Ibu hamil, Kosmetik yang aman, Pengetahuan, Sikap ABSTRACT Background: Pregnant women are consumers of the cosmetic market in Indonesia. They need to be aware of vigilance against harmful ingredients in pregnant women’s cosmetics through health promotion media.Purpose: To determine the effect of booklet media in helping pregnant women gain knowledge and attitude regarding safe cosmetics.Method: This study is a post-test control group design. The intervention group received a booklet about safe cosmetics during pregnancy. Knowledge and attitudes were measured through a post-test using a questionnaire. This study included 54 samples divided into intervention and control groupsResult: All respondents (100%) given the booklet had good knowledge. Most respondents (70.4%) had a positive attitude. Based on the Chi-Square test, there was an effect between giving booklets with knowledge and attitudes about safe cosmetics (P-value <0.001).Conclusion: Booklets that contained information about safe cosmetics for pregnant women effectively increased knowledge and attitudes.Suggestion: Further research needs to be carried out with a larger sample with randomized controlled trial design. Abstract

ABSTRACT  Background : Sleep disturbance is a problem that is often complained of by women who experience a menopause transition. This has an impact on quality of life, moods, productivity, and physical health. Foot massage therapy is a non-pharmacological therapy performed to improve sleep quality. Non-pharmacological therapy is an option because it is cheaper and more effective when compared with medical administration.  Purpose :This study determined an effect of foot massage on the sleep quality of menopausal mothers.  Method : This is an experimental study with a post test only control group design. The sample consisted of 23 respondents aged 45-55 years. The intervention group included 12 respondents and the control group included 11 respondents. The intervention group performed foot massage for 10 minutes on each leg. Sleep quality in the intervention group was measured 24 hours after massage. The control group did not do foot massage. Results :  the average respondent of intervention and control groups were in the best sleep quality (76100). In the control group, poor sleep quality was found in the wakefulness sleep category. There was no difference in the average quality of sleep in mothers who did foot massage and did not do foot massage (p> 0.001) with a difference in average (95% CI) 4.5 (3.6-12.5). Conclusion : There was no difference in the average quality of sleep between intervention and control group.  Sugestion : Based on the results of the study, the authors recommend the need for further research on foot massage with an increase in  duration of the intervention and it is necessary to investigate the variations of foot massage methods with aromatherapy to improve sleep quality. Further research needs to be done with more samples and better RCT methods.  Keywords: Foot massage, sleep quality, Menopause   ABSTRAK  Latar Belakang : Gangguan tidur adalah masalah yang sering dikeluhkan ibu yang mengalami transisi menopause. Hal ini berdampak pada kualitas hidup, suasana hati, produktivitas, dan kesehatan fisik. Terapi pijat kaki merupakan terapi non farmakologi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur. Terapi non-farmakologi menjadi pilihan karena biaya yang lebih murah dan lebih efektif bila dibandingkan dengan pemberian medikamentosa. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pijat kaki terhadap kualitas tidur ibu menopause.  Metode : Desain Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan desain post test only control group desain. Sampel terdiri dari 23 responden yang berumur 45-55 tahun dengan rincian kelompok intervensi 12 responden dan kelompok kontrol 11 responden. Kelompok intervensi dilakukan pijat kaki selama 10 menit pada setiap kaki. Kualitas tidur pada kelompok intervensi diukur 24 jam setelah dilakukan pemijatan. Kelompok kontrol tidak dilakukan pijat kaki.  Hasil : Rata-rata responden pada kelompok intervensi maupun kontrol berada pada kualitas tidur terbaik (76-100). Pada kelompok kontrol, didapatkan kualitas tidur yang buruk pada kategori terbangun saat tidur (Awakenings). Tidak terdapat perbedaan rerata kualitas tidur pada ibu yang dilakukan pijat kaki dan tidak dilakukan pijat kaki (p>0,001) dengan perbedaan rerata (IK 95%) 4.5 (3.6-12.5).  Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat perbedaan rerata kualitas tidur pada kelompok intervensi maupun kontrol. .  Saran  : Penulis merekomendasikan perlunya dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pijat kaki dengan peningkatan durasi intervensi serta perlu diteliti mengenai variasi metoda pijat kaki dengan aromaterapi untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur. Penelitian selanjutnya perlu dilakukan dengan sampel yang lebih banyak dengan metode uji kilnis yang lebih baik.  Kata Kunci : Pijat kaki, kualitas tidur, Ibu Menopause

Abstract

Stunting is still a health problem in Indonesia. The role of cadres is very important in detecting stunting. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on the knowledge of cadres about stunting. This research was conducted in Desa Cangkringan, Kec. Banyudono Kab. Boyolali. The research method is quasi eksperiment with one group pre and post test design. Health education was carried out to all cadres in Desa Cangkringan (26 respondents). Measurement of knowledge was carried out before and after health education using a questionnaire. The results of the study there was an increase in the average value before and after health education, the average value before was 45.9 and after health education was 89.2. The results of the bivariate test showed that there was a relationship between health education and knowledge of cadres about stunting (p value <0.005). The conclusion of this study, health education can increase the knowledge of cadres about stunting.

Abstract

Introduction: Postpartum women are prone to experience psychological disorders such as baby blues and postpartum depression. Postpartum depression can occur due to prolonged baby blues. Complaints that are often felt include anxiety, difficulty sleeping, lack of confidence and changes in mood. These symptoms can develop into more severe symptoms not only of not being able to pay attention to the baby but also of women being prone to suicide. various interventions have been developed including pharmacological interventions. Women who have been intervened with drugs complain of the many side effects they experience. Non-pharmacological treatments such as cognitive behaviour therapy have the potential effect to relieve symptoms of depression. Cognitive Behavior Therapy is a psychological intervention model that trains the perceptions of postpartum women to apply solution-based thinking. This technique is often used to intervene in psychological problems. Aims: The review is to summarize the effectiveness of cognitive behavioural therapy in reducing postpartum depression Methods: This research is a literature study based on 7 articles screened based on PICO, inclusion and exclusion criteria. We did a review based on research with RCT methods and pre-experimental studies. Review use database Pubmed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar Results: Based on the available evidence, Both CBT offline and online can reduce symptoms of postpartum depression. A trained midwife can perform CBT. The CBT mobile application can also be developed as a virtual therapy for women with postpartum depression. CBT can be applied during the antenatal period or during the postpartum period. Conclusion: CBT offline, online or application effective to treat postpartum depression

Abstract

Introduction: The diet of pregnant women has an impact on the fetus. The way to fulfill nutritional needs is to consume balanced nutrition. Shortage event chronic energy (KEK) in pregnant women is one of the influencing factors anemia. The nutritional adequacy of pregnant women affects their nutritional status. There are 6.4% of pregnant women with KEK and 9.6% of pregnant women with LILA <23.5 cm and there are 7.2% of pregnant women with anemia in Tirtomoyo Health Center II. Knowledge, attitude and behavior is the main key to supporting healthy behavior change. Objective: This research was conducted to find out knowledge, attitudes and behavior of pregnant women about eating habits in the first trimester at Tirtomoyo Public Health Center II in Wonogiri Regency. Method: This research is descriptive research. The research population for pregnant women in the first trimester of 90 people was taken as a sample by accidental sampling of 30 people. The research instrument uses a KAP questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Presentation of data with frequency distribution. Result: Our study showed that only 33.3% of pregnant women had good knowledge about balanced nutrition in the first trimester. As many as 80% of respondents had a positive attitude towards balanced nutrition in the first trimester and 86.7% of pregnant women had a positive attitude towards fulfilling nutrition in the first trimester. Conclusion: Even though the mother's knowledge was limited regarding balanced nutrition, the mother had good attitudes and behavior regarding the diet of pregnant women in the first trimester. Health workers at the Tirtomoyo II health center need to conduct health education about nutrition in pregnant women.
