WAKTU PEMBERIAN RETARDAN PADA BEBERAPAVARIETAS KACANG TANAH (Arachys hipogaea L.)Sri Mursiani ArifahStaf Pengajar, Jurusan Agroteknologi, Fakutas Pertanian PeternakanUniversitas Muhammadiyah MalangEmail: sri_mursiani@umm.ac.idABSTRACTHigh and low plant peanuts directly affects the interest that has been fertilized, strike the ground and become pithy pods and production levels. In general, peanuts entered high generative phase ranges from 60-70 cm, depending on the varieties used, the alternative solution of the problem when using retardants effective time of administration to certain varieties of peanuts.Purpose of the study to determine the timing of the effective retardants in some varieties of peanuts. Conduct of research using randomized block design arranged in factorial. Factor I, consisting of three levels of administration time and factor II consisted of four varieties of varieties, each repeated three times.Observations show that there has interaction between timing of retardan giving and peanut varieries in all research variable.Conclusions of this study is the effective time of each delivery retardants varieties at the age of 2 weeks and no difference in the response of each variety on the provision of retardants on the age of 2 weeks, but different compared with the control and administration retardants at the age of 4 weeks. Giving retardants at the age of 2 weeks tingga plants obtained from four varieties of peanuts ranges from 34.55 - 35.21 cm with a weight range of the pithy pods per plot 1232.23 - 1233.98 kg per plot.Key words: retardants, and varieties

So the research done twice. The purpose of this study to look at the quality vermicompost with different feed compositions given in the application and vermicompost were tested in solid and liquid forms of the mustard plant. The first study cultivation of worms with different feed compositions treatment in order to obtain and quality vermicompost, vermicompost then determine the best based on the results of laboratory analysis associated with the needs of mustard. A second study testing the solid vermicompost combined with concentrations of liquid vermicompost vermicompost derived solid part of the mustard plant. The results showed that vermicompost obtained from worms feed material 50% liquid cow manure and 59% forage materials give better effect to the plant (plant height, number of leaves, brush the leaves and plant fresh weight) at each level of administration of liquid vermicompost fertilizer concentration which range from 35 ml / l water-105 ml / l of water.Keywords: Casting solid liquid and organic waste.ABSTRAKBahan yang jadi pakan cacing akan mementukan kualitas dan kuntitas kascing yang dihasilkan, juga akan memberikan efek yang berbeda terhadap tanaman yang memanfaatkan kascing tersebut, namun.asumsi ini informasinya tidak didapat sehingga guna mendapatkan informasinya dilakukan penelitian dengan permasalahan komposisi pakan cacing yang akan menghasilkan kascing padat dan cair serta aplikasinya terhadap tanaman sawi. Sehingga dilakukan dua kali penelitian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat kualitas kascing dengan diberi komposisi pakan yang berbeda dan dalam aplikasinya kascing yang dicobakan dalam bentuk padat dan cair terhadap tanaman sawi. Penelitian pertama budidaya cacing dengan perlakuan komposisi pakan yang berbeda guna mendapatkan kascing dan kualitasnya, kemudian menentukan kascing yang terbaik berdasarkan hasil analisa laboratorium yang dikaitkan dengan kebutuhan tanaman sawi. Penelitian kedua pengujian kascing padat dikombinasikan dengan konsentasi kascing cair yang berasal bagian kascing padat terhadap tanaman sawi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kascing yang didapat dari bahan pakan cacing 50% cairan kotoran sapi dan bahan hijauan 59% memberikan efek yang lebih baik terhadap tanaman ( tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, kuas daun dan berat segar tanaman) pada setiap level pemberian konsentrasi pupuk kascing cair yang berkisar 35 ml/l air- 105 ml/l air.Kata Kunci : Kascing padat, cair dan limbah Organik.

The experiment was conducted at Pujon Kidul, Malang (± 1000 m above sea level).  The experiment was conducted from October 2012 through June 2013. The experiment was arranged in a factorial Block Random Design with two factors : (M) Kind of organic manure (three levels) and (D) Dose of organic manure (three  levels), with three replications.  Data were then analiyzed with anova followed by Duncan (5%). Observation started at 25 dap and was repeated on a 15?day interval using three model plants.  Non-destructive and destructive observation were made.  The first comprised plant height and leaf area, whereas the second comprised tuber weight per tuber, tuber weight per plant, number of tuber per plant and yield. The result shows that there is interaction among  the combination of kind and dose of organic manure all parameters. The highest yield was shown  by treatment combination of chicken manure 10 tonnes/ha.Key word : Organic manure, kind, dose ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki efek baik dan dosis aplikasi pupuk organik dari tanaman kentang. Penelitian dilakukan di Pujon Kidul, Malang (± 1.000 m di atas permukaan laut). Penelitian dilakukan dari Oktober 2012 sampai Juni 2013 mendatang. Penelitian disusun dalam faktorial Desain Blok Acak dengan dua faktor: (M) Jenis pupuk organik (tiga tingkat) dan (D) Dosis pupuk organik (tiga tingkat), dengan tiga ulangan. Data kemudian dianalisa dengan anova diikuti oleh Duncan (5%). Pengamatan dimulai pada 25 HST dan diulang pada interval 15 hari dengan menggunakan tiga model tanaman Pengamatan Non-destruktif dan destruktif dibuat. Kelompok pertama terdiri dari tinggi tanaman dan daun daerah, sedangkan kedua bobot umbi per umbi Terdiri, berat umbi per tanaman, jumlah umbi per tanaman dan hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi interaksi antara kombinasi jenis dan dosis pupuk organik semua parameter. Hasil tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh kombinasi perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam 10 ton / ha.Kata kunci: Pupuk organik, jenis, dosis

Abstract

Leaf aphid (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii; Aphididae) is one of the pests that attack Strawberry plants (Fragaria x ananassa) which can transmit infective viruses to Strawberry plants (Fragaria x ananassa). Symptoms caused by leaf aphids (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii) include sooty mold, dwarfed growth, twisted stems, curling, and yellowing. Farmers will suffer losses caused by the symptoms of leaf aphids (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii) such as significant decreases in Strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa) harvest yields. The methodology used in this article review is by conducting literature studies from various platforms such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, Bing AI, Publish or Perish, and SINTA from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The literature obtained consists of 60 journals discussing leaf aphids (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii) attacking Strawberry plants (Fragaria x ananassa), symptoms caused by leaf aphids (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii), and leaf aphid (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii) control methods. Then the literature obtained is summarized and organized using Mendeley. The aim of this literature study is to examine ways to control leaf aphids (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii) attacking Strawberry plants (Fragaria x ananassa) using natural materials. The results for controlling leaf aphids (Chaetosiphon fragaefolii) through natural materials are as follows: Entomopathogenic fungi: Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium sp. Parasitoids: Aphelinus varipes, Predators: Syrphidae family, Asilidae family, Orius insidiosus, Cycloneda sanguinea, Eriopis connexa, and Coleomegilla quadrifasciata. Organic pesticides: neem leaves with a concentration of 35 (g/l of water) and mortality of 8.76 individuals, while papaya leaves using a concentration of 30 ml/liter of water.

Abstract

This Crystal Guava was introduced in Indonesia in 1991 by the Taiwan Technical Mission. Various attempts have been made to achieve maximum productivity results, but these efforts have not been fully successful due to constraints such as pest attacks. Pests that attack crystal guava fruit are fruit fly pests. Fruit fly pests are pests that damage plants, especially types of horticultural crops, especially fruit and vegetable plants. Fruit fly attacks in Indonesia reach 50% and when the fruit fly population is high, the attack intensity can reach 100%. The purpose of this study was to find out the types of plant extracts that are effective and effective in attracting fruit flies in pest control, to find out the optimal concentrations to attract fruit flies in pest control in guava crystals and to find out the best time to apply extracts to attract flies. fruit in pest control on crystal guava plants. The data obtained from this study were presented in a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 3 factors. This study consisted of 27 treatment combinations and 1 control with 3 repetitions and each treatment in one repetition there were 5 samples. Observational data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and interpretation of the data was carried out by further testing using the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at 5% level and orthogonal contrast test.

Abstract

Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) is a widely consumed and cultivated fruit in Indonesia, cherished for its numerous benefits, high economic value, and short plant life. To enhance watermelon quality, plant breeding is employed, aiming to develop superior hybrid varieties. This study, conducted between September and November 2022 on PT. Aditya Sentana Agro's experimental land, evaluated candidate hybrid watermelon varieties (codes 3078, 3079, 3080, 2844, 2845) against comparison varieties (Winda, Mardi, Black Panther, Palguna). Using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with one genetic factor at 9 levels, repeated 3 times, a total of 27 experimental units were established, each consisting of 10 plants, summing up to 270 plants. Qualitative variables such as fruit skin color, pattern color, flesh color, and shape, along with quantitative variables like fruit weight, length, diameter, dissolved solids, flowering day, skin thickness, and percentage of fruit damage, were observed. The research revealed variations in fruit weight, length, diameter, dissolved solids, and flowering day among the different varieties. Promising candidates for new varieties were identified as codes 2845 and 3078 based on these quantitative traits. This study contributes valuable insights into the potential advancements in watermelon breeding, emphasizing the importance of selecting varieties with desirable characteristics for improved agricultural outcomes.

Abstract

Husk through composting techniques. However, information about the characteristics of soybean husk still needed to be studied more deeply. This caused coagulation of primary metabolites which had a very important biological functions as an energy source, fuel and intermediates for planting, the formation of RNA and DNA structural work (ribonucleic acid and deoxyribonucleic acid), this could be used to help explore the profile carried out in soybean husk degradation. Detection of carbohydrate compounds in this study used Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectroscopy (GC–MS) because it was a powerful tool in characterizing compost. The purpose of this study was to detect carbohydrate compounds in compost made from soybean husk and cow manure. Thus, further information obtained could be used as recommendations in handling soybean husk, especially as organic fertilizer through composting techniques.The study was conducted using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 5 composting arrangements with five replications. Related to payments were: C1: soybean husk (100 %), C2: cow manure (100 %), C3: soybean husk: cow manure (50 %: 50 %), C4: soybean husk: cow manure (75 %: 25 %) and C5: soybean husk: cow manure (25 %: 75 %). Data were analyzed using GC–MS and Least Significant Difference (LSD). Based on analysis using GC–\MS on compost, six sugar compounds were detected. While the treatment that showed the highest area of the curve was C5 (25 % soybean husk: 75 % cow manure), this result was directly proportional to the Least Significant Difference (LSD).
