Abstract

In the retail industry, service quality is the main consideration and the quality and completeness of the products offered. The recent conditions that result in declining sales turnover at most of the retail industries in Surabaya prompted this research to be carried out. In this study, an analysis of the service quality in one of the retail industries in Surabaya will be carried out. The method used is the integration between servqual and Kano models. Both methods are used because they are proven to show good results in previous research. The results obtained from this study are that several service attributes need to be improved because of the negative satisfactions value result. Those attributes are the availability of items location instruction. Item price should be matched with the price tag, standard pricing, safety parking, safety shopping, good salesperson, and careful cashier.

Abstract

The current competition in the food industry encourage companies to be able to produce products that are diverse, in a good quality, and in a timely manner to meet the company's production targets. PT XYZ is a food company in Indonesia. To be able to meet production targets, companies must adjust their production capacity by utilizing their workforce. However, the problem is that there are so many variables involved in the system so that the problem becomes more complex and hard to solve. Therefore in this study, a dynamic system approach is used to be able to see the interactions between variables in the system using Vensim software. Based on the research that has been done, the values ??of E1 < 6% and E2 < 2.5% indicated that the data used in this research is valid in other words the model used has represented the real system conditions. From the research, the best result is to gradually increase the installed capacity so that there is no over production occured. Using this scenario, the availability of raw materials for is 5901 boxes.

Abstract

The number of emerging furniture construction industries and the limited availability of virgin materials force companies to innovate both in terms of products and services provided. One way that can be done is through reverse logistics. Reverse logistics itself has many advantages both for the company, for the sustainability of virgin material and for the surrounding environment. PT. X is a company engaged in furniture construction. The company is currently implementing reverse logistics. However, there has never been an assessment of the effectiveness of its implementation. In this research, an analytical approach is used to measure the effectiveness of RL implementation by using a reverse logistic maturity framework. The result from the assessment based on the reverse logistic maturity framework conducted, PT. X categorized in to developed level.
