Abstract

Abstract

Hypertension diet is one way to treat hypertension without serious effects, because of its natural control method. It's just that many people consider a hypertension diet to be troublesome and unpleasant (Purwati, 1997). Hypertension is a condition where the systolic blood pressure exceeds 140 mmHg and diastolic exceeds 90 mmHg, the normal number of blood pressure is systolic pressure 120 mmHg and diastolic 80 mmHg occurs at the age < 60 years. In the elderly population, hypertension is defined as a systolic pressure of 160 mmHg and a diastolic pressure of 90 mmHg. Currently, the mortality rate due to hypertension in Indonesia is very high. The prevalence rate of hypertension in Indonesia based on riskesdas (basic health research) 2018 reached 34.1 percent of the population. Hypertension is divided into 2, namely essential hypertension and secondary hypertension. The cause of hypertension in the elderly is due to changes in the valve; the heart valves thicken and become stiff, the heart's ability to pump blood decreases by 1% every year after the age of 20, so contractions and volume also decrease. Clinical manifestations of hypertensive patients include: Complaining of headache, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, restlessness, nausea and vomiting, epistaxis, decreased consciousness. Supporting examinations for hypertension include: laboratory examination, CT Scan, ECG, IUP, and chest photo. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dietary hypertension on the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in Manang Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency. This study used a cross-sectional study design. The sample of this study amounted to 30 elderly people. Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease that is chronic and requires ongoing medical care in a variety of ways that can reduce the risk of multi-factors beyond glycemic control. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus will cause an increase in complications, one of which is diabetic ulcers. Achieving better wound healing is the main goal of diabetic ulcer management. Moisturizing dressings can provide a supportive environment for cells to carry out the wound healing process and prevent further damage or trauma. This study was to determine the effect of modern dressing with moist healing on diabetic ulcers. This type of research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design with an accidental sampling approach. Data was collected using demographic data and the Wocare For Indonesian Nurses (WINNERS) Scale assessment sheet which is a modified Bates-Jasen score to predict and evaluate the average score of wound healing. WINNERS scale consists of 10 assessments. The results of the intervention that have been carried out have shown a significant improvement in diabetic ulcers as assessed using the Bates Jensen Wound Assessment Tools. Based on the results and discussion, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of modern wound care using the moist wound healing method on the healing process of diabetic ulcers.

Abstract

Currently, cases of people who are indicated and confirmed exposed to Covid-19 have increased higher. One area that has experienced an increase in Covid-19 sufferers is Surakarta. This is a challenge for nurses to be at the forefront of emergency situations for Covid-19 patients. Nurses are part of health workers who are at great risk in efforts to help cure Covid-19 patients. It is feared that the additional duties will make nurses suffer from work. This study aims to see what factors affect the work of nurses in the city of Surakarta. This study uses a descriptive analytic method using primary data sources. Primary data collection was carried out directly by interviewing 30 nurses who worked in the Covid-19 health office in the Surakarta area. Analysis of the data used in this study using the rank spearman. Based on the research results it can be seen that. There is one variable that affects the work of nurses, namely age. This can be seen from the significance value of the variable which is smaller than the alpha value of 0.008. It is feared that the age of having a job with work stress is because older nurses will tire more easily while working, in contrast to younger nurses who usually have better body conditions. Working hours had no effect on the work rate of nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is because nurses get additional working hours due to the return of the patient so that more nursing care must be provided than usual. Work demands also do not affect hard work, especially in this pandemic, although nurses also have to use personal protective equipment, because the workload does not increase the burden on nurses.
