Abstract

Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka Program Kemitraan Masyarakat, dengan sasaran adalah masyarakat Kecamatan Samboja khususnya warga Desa Wonotirto dan Desa Beringin agung. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam lima (5) tahap. Metode pelatihan budidaya ini dengan melakukan pelatihan dan penyuluhan kepada peserta tentang budidaya tanaman buah naga merah, penanganan virus dan penanganan paska panen, proses pembuatan sirup dan ice cream dari daging buah naga merah, proses pengolahan saos dan saos pedas dari limbah kulit buah naga merah, Proses pengemasan produk olahan, dan cara analisis ekonomi dan strategi pemasaran.Peserta dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok pertama adalah petani buah naga dan kelompok kedua adalah ibu-ibu PKK. Kegiatan pertama dilakukan dengan mengundang narasumber dari Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura.Penyampaian materi dengan metode ceramah dilakukan di dalam ruangan yang dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan praktek yang dilakukan langsung oleh peserta pelatihan dengan dibimbing oleh pemateri

Abstract

Bad breath is usually caused by bacteria and food debris left in the mouth. Development of preparations using herbal ingredients, to overcome the problem of bad breath one of them is with utilization basil leaves (Ocimum americanum L.) which have anti bacterial activity. The method of wet granulation is a single method for use in granulation of large doses of active substances because if using direct induced method will require again the addition of a large number of fillers to make it easier forging, but cause the tablet to be not feasible as it will resulting in an increase in tablet size. The type of research conducted is an experimental study. Object the study was basil leaf extract formulated. This formulation was prepared by wet granulation method with variation Explotab® ss crusher ie 2%, 4%, 6% and 8%. Performed wet granulation on each formulation. Granul evaluated the flow time, mass density test, silent angle and fixed assay test. Based on research result the physical quality of ethanol extract granule of basil leaves (Ocimum americanum L.) with explotab® concentration variation it can be concluded that all the formula fulfill the good quality of granule characteristic, because it meets the requirements of parameters of time flow, rest angle, compressibility and density mass

Abstract

Leaves of Lawsonia inermis L. are one of the medicinal plants that have antibacterial properties, medicine for wounds on the skin, drugs for inflammation of the knuckles and as a nail dye. One of the active substances contained in the henna leaf is flavonoids. The level of active ingredient extract can be influenced by the way of drying simplicia. The purpose of this study was to determine the levels of flavonoid ethanol extract of girlfriend nail Lawsonia inermis L. leaves based on simplicia drying method. Research conducted was non-experimental research. The stages of the study included collecting samples, determining plants, making simplicia by drying the wind and artificial drying with an oven at 550C, extracting by maceration and determining flavonoid levels by UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the study, obtained flavonoid levels of ethanol extract of leaves on wind-dried drying of 6.15% ± 0.1373 and drying with an oven of 7.37% ± 0.2158.
