Abstract

Temperature plays a major role in detecting climate change brought about by urbanisation and industrialisation. Most climatic impact studies rely on changes in the average values of meteorological variables such as temperature. This paper attempts to study the temporal changes in the mean value of the air surface temperature over Jakarta city during the last century, specifically in the period 1901–2002.The data used in this study were taken from the Jakarta Climatology Station because they are of are good quality, there are extensive records and there is little missing or blank data. Statistic descriptive methods were employed, including a description of the type of probabilistic model chosen to represent the monthly mean air surface temperature time series. The long-term change in temperature was evaluated using the Mann-Kendall trend test method and the statistical linear trend test; the results of these two tests agreed. During the last 100 years, data observations from the station indicate that the monthly mean value of the air surface temperature of Jakarta city has increased at a rate of about 0.152°C decade–1 and has not exhibited variability signals but has changed on average. Based on the linear regression model, the mean value of the air surface temperature over Jakarta city is estimated to reach around 28.5°C in 2050 and 29.23°C in 2100.

Abstract

The research was conducted in the Sub Watershed Cisangkuy of theUpper Citarum Watershed in the Bandung regency. Cisangkuy river playsimportant role in the water supply to the population of Bandung regency andBandung city. In the last ten years, the debit of the river was decreased at dryseason but increased at rainy season that causes of flood in some places. It isneeded to research the variability of hydroclimatology at the region. The monthlyrainfall and debit in range of 2001-2011 was processed using the coefficient ofvariation (CV), wavelets and moving average analysis. The result of thecoefficient of variation and wavelets analysis show the monthly rainfall of fourweather stations: Cileunca, Kertamanah, Cipanas and Ciherang have the CV of78%, 82%, 84%, 70% respectively and show the dominant oscillation around 8-16months. The debit of two hydrology stations: Pataruman and Kamasan have theCV of 97%, 86% respectively and show the dominant oscillation around 128months and 64 months. The analysis of moving average with the simple, exponential, adaptive methods show the increase of five yearly debit significantlyin the range of observed data which cause of the flood in the Kamasan Banjaranregion. The 8-16 months oscillation is associated with the apparent position of theSun between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn which cause regional variationsin the intensity of monsoon and it’s called annual oscillation. The 128 monthsoscillation of debit is associated with the ten to twelve (TTO) years oscillation inthe tropical tropospheric temperature. While 64 months oscillation is associatedwith the the tropical Pacific phenomena El Niño (warm condition) and La Niña(cold conditions) are the cause of 2-7 years oscillations which famous with ENSOcycle. Keywords: Watershed, Rainfall, Debit, Variability, Hidroclimatology, Wavelets,Moving Average, Oscillation

Abstract

A mixed-use building refers to a combination of several different functions within a single structure, such as residential, office, shopping, and recreational functions built on one site. Designing a mixed-use building requires careful planning and consideration of various factors such as functional needs, aesthetics, and energy conservation. Additionally, the design of mixed-use buildings incorporates various functions within a single area. Floor slabs and beams use plain reinforcing steel with a quality of Fy = 240 MPa (Ø8mm). The concrete cover is taken as 20 mm. From the design results, several thickness types of slabs were obtained according to the load requirements that must be accommodated above them. The following are the moments acting on the floor slabs and beams. The reinforcement calculations are performed using the capacity strength design method according to SNI 2847-2019. The capacity design concept involves controlling the formation of plastic hinges at predetermined locations. The SAP2000 program can directly calculate the feasibility of the structural dimensions and the amount of reinforcement needed from the input program results. In the SAP2000 program, the concrete code used is the American concrete code ACI-318-05/IBC 2003, which differs in some respects from the concrete code in Indonesia SNI 2847-2019. Adjustments need to be made to comply with the regulations in Indonesia. Internal forces from the SAP2000 program are selected from load combinations that generate the maximum moments at the column face. The flexural and shear reinforcement for beams can be directly read from the SAP2000 output in the form of information on the required area of reinforcement

From the design results, several types of plate thicknesses are obtained according to the workloads that must be accommodated on it. the following are the moments acting on the floor & dag plates. reinforcement calculations are carried out using the capacity design method (capacity strength design) in accordance with SNI 2847-2019. The concept of capacity design in question is to control the formation of plastic joints at predetermined locations. The SAP2000 program can directly calculate the feasibility of structural dimensions and the required reinforcement area from the results of the input program process. In the SAP2000 program, the concrete regulations used are concrete regulations in the United States ACI-318-05/IBC 2003 which in some ways differ from concrete regulations in Indonesia SNI 2847-20219. It is necessary to make adjustments to the regulations that apply in Indonesia. The internal force from the SAP2000 program is selected from the loading combination that produces the field moment and the fulcrum moment at the maximum column face plane. The bending reinforcement and shear reinforcement of the beam can be read directly from the output of the SAP2000 program in the form of information on the required reinforcement area.
