Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in productivity between organic and inorganic rice farming, whether there is a significant difference in technical efficiency between organic nd inorganic rice farming, and whether fertilizer costs, labor costs, arable land area, and the length of the use of System of Rice Intensification (SRI) have a significant effect on the organic rice production. The target of this research is the improvement of economic efficiency and organic rice farming productivity in Purworejo District, Central Java. To achieve this target, this study used SRI method. The population was all farmers of inorganic and organic rice farming in Purworejo District. The samples consist of 45 people from organic rice farmers and 45 people from inorganic rice farmers in Ringgit Village, Purworejo. They were collected by random sampling and the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. Descriptive analysis was done by comparing all necesary activities in both organic and inorganic rice farming. The descriptive analysis concludes that there is a difference in terms of the selection of seeds, seedlings, seed treatment before sowing, planting and watering, fertilizing, weeding and pest control. Quantitative analysis is done using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and multiple linear regeresi. The quantitative analysis concludes that there is a significant difference in productivity between organic rice farming and inorganic rice farming. There is a significant difference in technical efficiency between organic rice farming and inorganic rice farming. Fertilizer costs, labor costs, arable land area, and the length of the use of SRI method have a significant effect on the organic rice production.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impacts of fiscal decentralization, institutional transformation, and regional revenue to the income disparity among the provinces in Indonesia. This study uses panel data with the number of runs 528 pieces of data that includes 33 provinces in Indonesia period 2000-2015. The data were taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and Bank Indonesia. They were analyzed using a multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that tax revenue sharing fund and natural resources revenue sharing fund impact positive and significant on the income disparity among the provinces in Indonesia, while the general allocation fund, special allocation fund, institutional transformation, and the local revenue do not significantly affect the income disparity among the provinces in Indonesia. Tax and natural resources revenue sharing fund are actually exacerbating the gap of income distribution among regions in Indonesia. The implication of this study is that the government needs to review the allocation mechanism of General Allocation Fund, Special Allocation Fund, Tax Revenue Sharing Fund and Natural Resources Revenue Sharing Fund in order to serve as an instrument of fiscal capacity equalization of each region as well income distribution equalization among regions in Indonesia. The local government needs to continue improving the local revenue through the optimization of local tax revenue, regional retribution, profits of Regional Owned Enterprises, and other legitimate acceptances.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: 1) the influence of vanity seeking on repurchase intention with attitude toward laneige as a mediating variable, 2) the influence of purchasing experience on repurchase intention with attitude towards laneige as a mediating variable, 3) the influence of celebrity endorser on repurchase intention with attitude toward laneige as a mediating variable. The population in this research is Laneige consumers who have already bought Laneige with a total sample of 96 respondents. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The validity test uses the construct validity test of convergent and discriminant constructs, and reliability test uses the formula of composite reliability and Cronchbach’s alpha. The data analysis technique used in this research is SEM using Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that: 1) Vanity seeking did not have a positive influence on repurchase intention with attitudes toward Laneige as a mediating variable, 2) Purchase experience had a positive influence on repurchase intention with partial mediation by attitudes towards Laneige, 3) Celebrity endorser had positive influence on repurchase intention with full mediation by the attitude towards Laneige.

Abstract

The purpose of the Science and Technology Implementation of Nata de Coco Business Owners is toincrease the income of the Nata de Coco business owners through education and training on productprocessing as well as on the management of their business. The idea of implementing science andtechnology for Nata de Coco entrepreneurs stemmed from the fact that nata de coco entrepreneurs weregenerally less skilled in processing nata de coco products. The products were less hygienic and were not marketed under their own trademark. The specific target in IbM's activities was the increasing income of the nata de coco businessmen. The method used to achieve this goal was a collaborative method throughvarious trainings, intensive facilitation, hands-on practice, monitoring and evaluation. The outcome ofIbM's program was the production of nata de coco's distinctive, varied, hygienic, and delicious productsso that the sales turnover and the nata de coco craftsmen income continue to increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of store atmosphere on impulse buying with emotional response as a mediating variable, (2) the influence of store atmosphere on impulse buying with shopping lifestyle as a mediating variable, (3) the effect of price discount on impulse buying by emotional response as a mediating variable, (4) the effect of price discounts on impulse buying with shopping lifestyle as a mediating variable, (5) the influence of sales persons on impulse buying with emotional responses as mediating variables, (6) the influence of sales persons on impulse buying with shopping lifestyle as a mediating variable. The population in this study were all consumers of Uniqlo products. Sampling using the purposive sampling method, namely consumers who have purchased Uniqlo brand fashion products at the Uniqlo store at least 2 times within 3 months with a total of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with WarpPLS approach, Warp PLS software version 6.0.m3. The results of the study prove that. (1) Store atmosphere has a positive and significant influence on impulse buying with emotional response as a mediating variable. (2) Store atmosphere has a positive and significant influence on impulse buying with shopping lifestyle as a mediating variable. (3) Price discount has a positive and significant effect on mpulse buying with emotional response as a mediating variable. (4) Price discount has significant effect on impulse buying with shopping lifestyle as a mediating variable. (5) Sales person has a positive and significant influence on impulse buying with emotional response as a imediating. (6) Sales person has no positive and significant effect on impulse buying with shopping lifestyle as a mediating variable

Abstract

Schools as student-oriented educational institutions are service centers. All resources are directed to provide optimal services in the student learning process. Therefore, the performance of employees (teachers and education personnel) in schools needs to be improved. This study aims at determining the effect of employee engagement, work spirituality, and organizational culture on employee performance with the principal's leadership as a moderating variable. The population in this study was all employees of SMA Kolese de Britto. The sample in this study was 73 employees taken by using proportional clustered random sampling. Data analysis using the SEM-PLS method with the help of SMARTPLS v.3.0 software was utilized. The results of the analysis indicate that employee engagement and work spirituality have a positive and significant effect on employee performance variables. Meanwhile, organizational culture has no effect on employee performance and principal leadership variable do not moderate the effect of employee engagement, organizational culture, and work spirituality on employee performance

Abstract

Abstract: Strada Association is an educational community belonging to the Archdiocese of Jakarta which was founded by three Jesuits. The establishment and management of the Strada Association has until now been entrusted to the Society of Jesus. Strada's long history indicates that there are characteristics of Jesuit education to be found there. However, since its inception, the characteristics of Jesuit education have not been clearly revealed in the manual on how to act for teachers and leadership elements within the Strada Association. The purpose of this research is to find out the important elements, and the ways in which Branch Head, Supervisor, Principals, and teachers to experience fully, live, and implement the characteristics of Jesuit education in the Strada Association. Through qualitative research methods, researcher seeks to find the characteristics of Jesuit education through in-depth interviews, with key persons (informants), namely people who the author believes know about the situation of the Strada Association. Data analysis was carried out by observing the appreciation, livelihood, and implementation of the characteristics of Jesuit education. The results of the study indicate that the characteristics of Jesuit education in general have been, and are being lived, lived, and implemented by the interviewed informants. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the characteristics of Jesuit education can be found in the Strada Association community.Keywords: college; characteristics; Strada; and formation Abstrak: Perkumpulan Strada merupakan komunitas pendidikan milik Keuskupan Agung Jakarta yang didirikan oleh tiga Jesuit. Pendirian dan pengelolaan Perkumpulan Strada hingga sekarang dipercayakan kepada Serikat Jesus. Sejarah Strada yang panjang, mengindikasikan ada karakteristik pendidikan Jesuit yang dapat ditemukan di sana. Akan tetapi sejak awal pendiriannya karakteristik pendidikan Jesuit belum terungkap secara jelas dalam buku pedoman cara bertindak para guru dan unsur pimpinan di lingkungan Perkumpulan Strada. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur penting, dan cara Kepala Cabang, Pengawas, para Kepala Sekolah, dan guru dalam menghayati, menghidupi, serta melaksanakan karakteristik pendidikan Jesuit di Perkumpulan Strada. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, peneliti berupaya menemukan karakteristik pendidikan Jesuit melalui wawancara mendalam, dengan key person (informan) yaitu orang-orang yang penulis yakini mengetahui tentang keadaan Perkumpulan Strada. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengamatan terhadap penghayatan, penghidupan, dan pelaksanaan karakteristik pendidikan Jesuit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pendidikan Jesuit secara umum sudah, dan sedang dihayati, dihidupi, dan dilaksanakan oleh para informan yang diwawancarai. Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of the work environment on employee performance at PT. Armada Finance; (2) the effect of motivation on employee performance at PT. Armada Finance; (3) the role of organizational commitment in moderating the influence of the work environment on employee performance at PT. Armada Finance, and; (4) the role of organizational commitment in moderating the effect of motivation on employee performance at PT. Armada Finance. The population in this study was all employees in the branch of PT. Armada Finance. The sampling technique used in this study is an area non probability sampling technique. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 45 respondents. The data analysis used was Partial Least Square (PLS) with WarpPLS 8.0 application. The results of the study show that: (1) work environment influences employee performance; (2) motivation has no effect on employee performance; (3) in the form of a quasi-moderator, organizational commitment moderates (strengthens) the influence of the work environment on employee performance, and; (4) in the form of a homologiser-moderator, organizational commitment does not moderate the effect of motivation on employee performance. Keywords: organizational commitment; work environment; motivation; employee performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Armada Finance; (2) pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Armada Finance; (3) peran komitmen organisasi dalam memoderasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Armada Finance, dan; (4) peran komitmen organisasi dalam memoderasi pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Armada Finance. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan kantor cabang PT. Armada Finance. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampel non probabilitas area. Data diperoleh dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada 45 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan aplikasi WarpPLS 8.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan; (2) motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan; (3) komitmen organisasi memoderasi (memperkuat) pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan bentuk quasi moderator, dan; (4) komitmen organisasi tidak memoderasi pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan bentuk homologiser moderator. Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the direct effect of work environment on employee performance, (2) the direct effect of workload on employee performance, (3) the direct effect of job burnout on employee performance, (4) the direct effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, (5) the direct effect of role ambiguity on employee performance, (6) the effect of work environment on employee performance mediated by job stress, (7) the effect of workload on employee performance mediated by job stress, (8) the effect of job burnout on employee performance mediated by job stress, and (9) the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance mediated by job stress, and (10) the effect of role ambiguity on employee performance mediated by job stress. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling (census). The population of the study were employees who worked at the Badau Cross Border Post (PLBN) totaling 88 employees. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires about work environment, workload, job burnout, job satisfaction, role ambiguity and job stress and employee performance to 88 respondents. Data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) and data processing using Smart PLS 3 software. The results showed that: (1) work environment directly has no effect on employee performance, (2) workload directly has no effect on employee performance, (3) job burnout directly has no effect on employee performance, (4) job satisfaction directly has a positive effect on employee performance, (5) role ambiguity directly has a negative effect on employee performance, (6) work environment has a positive effect on employee performance mediated by job stress (indirect-only full mediation), (7) workload negatively affects employee performance mediated by job stress (indirect-only full mediation), (8) job burnout has no effect on employee performance mediated by job stress (no-effect nonmediation), (9) job satisfaction has no effect on employee performance mediated by job stress (direct-only nonmediation), (10) role ambiguity has no effect on employee performance mediated by job stress (direct-only nonmediation.
