Abstract

This study explains how the basic functions of management—planning, organizing, leading and controlling (POLC)—are packaged in a flipped learning model. The basic functions of management, in general, are introduced at the beginning of lectures and become the basis for further learning in Management Department. As basic course material, the learning process of basic functions management must be arranged systematically and interestingly to motivate students to involve in the next learning materials enthusiastically. Through a case study on the subject of Organizational Management in the Management Department, Faculty of Economics, Sanata Dharma University, this study provides an overview of the learning process of flipped learning to introduce the basic functions of management to students. By utilizing description qualitative approach, this study shows that the flipped learning model can be one of the prospective alternative learning model in implementing basic management functions, both for lecturers and students. Keywords: basic functions of management, learning models, flipped learning Abstrak Studi ini menjelaskan bagaimana fungsi dasar manajemen—planning, organizing, leading dan controlling (POLC)—dikemas dalam suatu model flipped learning. Fungsi dasar manajemen, pada umumnya, dikenalkan pada masa awal perkuliahan dan menjadi basis untuk pembelajaran selanjutnya pada program studi manajemen. Sebagai materi kuliah dasar, proses pembelajaran terkait fungsi dasar manajemen harus disusun secara sistematis dan menarik untuk memotivasi mahasiswa mengikuti materi-materi pembelajaran selanjutnya dengan antusias. Melalui studi kasus pada mata kuliah Manajemen Organisasi di Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sanata Dharma, studi ini memberikan gambaran proses pembelajaran flipped learning untuk mengenalkan fungsi dasar manajemen kepada mahasiswa. Dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan deskripsi kualitatitif, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model flipped learning dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bentuk pembelajaran yang prospektif dalam mengimplementasikan fungsi dasar manajemen, baik bagi dosen maupun mahasiswa. Abstract

ABSTRACTBeing agile is one of the main keys for organization to be able to survive and grow in the VUCA era. Today, many organizations have begun to form agile teams to produce initiative, innovation or improvement. However, having a large number of agile teams in a company does not mean that the company has become an agile organization. To be agile, a company must transform by developing agile organizational systems and creating adaptive leaders. This study provides a conceptual framework and an analysis that discusses how the adaptive leadership model becomes a relevant leadership model for organizations, especially in the midst of uncertain situations in the new habitual adaptation era. Using literature review method, this study formulates 4 aspects that form an adaptive leadership model, namely aspects of anticipation, articulation, adaptation and accountability. Furthermore, these four aspects are translated into the main characteristics of organizational agility through the 5 key areas of the organization — strategy, structure, processes, people and technology.Keywords: adaptive leadership; organizational agility; new habitual adaptation ABSTRAKMenjadi gesit merupakan salah satu kunci utama organisasi untuk dapat bertahan dan berkembang di era VUCA. Saat ini, banyak organisasi mulai membentuk tim yang gesit untuk menghasilkan inisiatif, inovasi, atau perbaikan. Namun, memiliki tim yang gesit dalam jumlah besar dalam sebuah perusahaan tidak berarti bahwa perusahaan tersebut telah menjadi organisasi yang gesit. Untuk menjadi gesit, perusahaan harus bertransformasi dengan mengembangkan sistem organisasi yang gesit dan menciptakan pemimpin yang adaptif. Penelitian ini memberikan kerangka konseptual dan analisis yang membahas bagaimana model kepemimpinan adaptif menjadi model kepemimpinan yang relevan bagi organisasi, terutama di tengah situasi yang tidak menentu di era adaptasi kebiasaan baru. Dengan menggunakan metode literature review, penelitian ini merumuskan 4 aspek yang membentuk model kepemimpinan adaptif, yaitu aspek antisipasi, artikulasi, adaptasi dan akuntabilitas. Selanjutnya, keempat aspek ini diterjemahkan ke dalam karakteristik utama kelincahan organisasi melalui 5 bidang utama organisasi – strategi, struktur, proses, orang, dan teknologi.Kata kunci: kepemimpinan adaptif; agilitas organisasi; adaptasi kebiasaan baru

Abstract

Progress in technology impacts the educational sector, which allows teachers to build interactive learning programs. The goal of this study is to investigate the use of the flipped learning model to improve student learning outcomes as the implementation of the revised community of inquiry (RCOI). The research was carried out on students who took the course in Organizational Management, Management Study Program, Economics Faculty, Sanata Dharma University. A purposeful sampling method was used for the sampling technique, data mining used questionnaires for 163 respondents and classroom surveys. Three factors are included in the aspects examined, specifically the characteristics of the learning program, implementation and the outcomes obtained. The data analysis was using factor analysis. The findings showed that learners thought the stimuli using the flipped learning model made learning simpler and more autonomous for them and this RCOI measure provided its advantages in influencing the progress of their learning outcomes. Keywords: Model Flipped Learning, Revised Community of Inquiry (RCOI), Students’ Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to contribute to the border area in order to improve the economy, as one of the pillars of national security. This research was conducted in Bengkayang which is one of the regency areas in West Kalimantan. It is directly adjacent to Sarawak, Malaysia. The method used in this study is a qualitative method by carrying out focus group discussions. The material used is about financial literacy and financial behavior as one of the efforts that can be done to improve the economic resilience of a region. The target of this study is housewives, because housewives are important figures in managing family finances. The added value highlighted in this study is the existence of aspects of spirituality that are adapted to the beliefs held by the group studied and synergized in the provision of material, namely the value of amare culture. The results of this study were found to be a phenomenon that although in border areas, the community had received financial literacy education, however it did not get a good response, a lack of implementation of financial literacy had an impact on negative financial behavior patterns, when knowing that financial literacy can be used as a means of manifesting the faith adopted by enthusiastic housewives and giving a positive response.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether characteristics in the dimensions of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) influence job satisfaction. The study approach employed is quantitative, with data processed using SPSS 25. The study's sample technique is a saturation sampling technique that includes the entire population in the study. All 50 employees of business X were chosen as respondents for this study. To protect the privacy of the organization, the name of the organization cannot be disclosed in the publication of articles. The data processing test findings reveal that the five characteristics of OCB have an effect on job satisfaction at the same time. Meanwhile, altruism and civility have an effect on job satisfaction, as do the other three OCB dimensions namely civic virtue, conscientiousness and sportsmanship, have no effect on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

The concept of happiness at work will be a magnet for top talent to occupy pivotal positions. This is based on the phenomenon that the net generation is here with the slogan working to live which has an orientation about balance in life (work-life balance). But sometimes the older managers considers the concept to show a lack of commitment and loyalty at work, therefore the conventional approach is no longer relevant to the capacity of this generation. then the Human Capital Department must have the right strategy to manage it. This chapter will provide a systematic overview of Strategic Talent Relationship Management (STRM) for young future leaders, based on the concept of strategic talent management (Collings & Mellahi, 2009) and Talent Relationship Management (Trost, 2014) also Human Capital Department policies at Maybank Indonesia as an example of the implementation of one aspect that is in the STRM component. Abstract

Organisasi Mahasiswa merupakan lahan yang baik bagi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan pelatihan. Namun seringkali Organisasi Mahasiswa tidak berjalan optimal, hal ini dapat terjadi karena kurangnya pendampingan. Selain itu orgnisasi mahasiswa juga senantiasa harus memperhatikan anggotanya, yang merupakan mahasiswa aktif agar tidak meninggalkan atau tertinggal dalam kegiatan akademiknya. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan tiga fokus utama yaitu 1)kelembagaan BEMU, (2) Kemampuan manajemen waktu bagi anggota organisasi BEMU, dan (3) Kualitas komunikasi dalam organisasi BEMU. Selanjutnya juga perlu dirumuskan rencana tindak lanjut yang sistematis dan implementatif demi keberlanjutan organisasi.

Abstract

Keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam berorganisasi dapat menjadi salah satu aspek dalam mengasah ketrampilan soft skills yang semakin dibutuhkan dewasa ini. Namun demikian nyatanya organisasi mahasiswa bukanlah menjadi primadona bagi mahasiswa. Penting untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang dapat meningkatkan minat mahasiswa dalam berorganisasi. Penelitian ini memilih variabel efikasi diri, motivasi diri dan manajemen waktu sebagai variabel yang memengaruhi minat mahasiswa dalam berorganisasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada mahasiswa di lingkup Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sanata Dharma. Sebanyak 170 kuesioner diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25 untuk melakukan pengujian instrumen, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil olah data menunjukkan bahwa variabel efikasi diri, motivasi diri dan manajemen waktu secara parsial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam berorganisasi. Berdasarkan hasil olah data tersebut telah dirumuskan beberapa saran dan rencana tindak lanjut yang dapat dilakukan baik dari perspektif perguruan tinggi, organisasi mahasiswa maupun mahasiswa sebagai individu.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to increase the productivity of small businesses as an effort to alleviate poverty. The service method used is to provide material exposure, discussion, practice using working papers and group discussions. The results of the service stated that 88% of participants were very satisfied and satisfied with this training and formulated five follow-up plans, namely (1) Building a business network between fellow CU members (2) Conducting market development activities for member products (3) Identifying and managing potential members so that they will idea development, creativity and collaboration will emerge, (4) Provision of information supporting business development and (5) Business planning and financial budgeting assistance.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid – 19 telah memberikan berbagai macam dampak bagi situasi ekonomi masyarakat. Situasi yang disruptif karena pandemi ini memberikan imbas yang cukup signifikan bagi kestabilan ekonomi rumah tangga termasuk juga bagi anggota credit union. Untuk itu memang credit union perlu fokus meningkatkan kapabilitas anggota mereka sehigga mendukung penguatan ekonomi produktif. Peran credit union diharapkan tidak hanya sebagai fasilitas simpan pinjam saja namun bisa lebih untuk meningkatkan kemandirian anggota melalui berbagai macam kegiatan termasuk didalamnya kegiatan yang kolaboratif antar sesama anggota. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini ini dirancang dalam bentuk pelatihan selama dua hari dengan 8 topik pendampingan. Peserta kegiatan berasal dari 4 credit union dengan jumlah total 150 peserta. Secara umum tahapan ini dilakukan melalui tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan dan tahapan evaluasi. Tahapan persiapan dilakukan dengan koordinasi awal bersama pengelola credit union untuk melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan pendampingan anggota. Tahapan pelaksanaan dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi selama 2 hari untuk masing-masing credit union. Tahapan evaluasi menghasilkan rumusan rencana tindak lanjut untuk kemudian diimplementasikan dan dimonitoring pelaksanaannya. Rencana tindak lanjut ini menitikberatkan pada upaya kolaboratif anggota dan peran credit union.
