Abstract

This study aims to explain social change of post-conflict of the Wulandoni - Pantai Harapan community and what kind of cultural communication space should be built for sustainable reconciliation and peace. The two focus studies above have become very central in reading and analysing the reality of the conflict between the two villages. By using ethnographic method, this study found three things. First, the conflict between Wulandoni and Pantai Harapan villages is not a religious conflict. Even so, it cannot be denied that the discourse on religious conflict was quite developed at that time because the cultural and religious realities of the two villages were quite different. Second, the Wulandoni-Pantai Harapan conflict caused social change and the loss of kinship between the people, especially the loss of the Wulandoni barter market. Third, post-conflict reconciliation and peace efforts are immediately carried out thanks to the cultural and economic relations between the people on the south coast of Lembata Island. These social, economic and cultural kinship relationships are important pillars in creating peace and harmony between communities. This study also opens the discourse of reconciliation and peace based on local culture and economy in the south of Lembata Island.

Abstract

The motivation to carry out activities after receiving assistance from the CSR program used as a measure in this research is to see the extent to which students' attitudes towards work behavior are based on Islamic values. The use of measuring instruments in several cultures requires an implementation process to obtain valid and reliable measuring instruments. This implementation process uses ITC references. This research aims to implement the Indonesian Santri version of an entrepreneurial intention measurement tool. Content validity uses the Content Validity Index (CVI) method, while construct validity uses the Confirmatory Factor Analysis method using Amos 23. The scale validation subjects involved 308 respondents. The results of the research show that 16 items measure motivation to carry out activities after receiving assistance from the students' CSR program. The modification results show that the model fits with 16 statements containing the Motivation factor for carrying out activities after receiving CSR program assistance, which is indicated by the Chi-Square values which are not significant, GFI (0.99), CFI (0.915), TLI (0.90) and RMSEA (0.01), This proves that the Motivation scale for carrying out activities after receiving CSR program assistance is suitable and meets the assumption of unidimensionality, and has a positive relationship with entrepreneurial motivation

Abstract

The research aims to determine participation in the development of tourist villages and their impact on the economy of residents in Kombang village, Sumenep district. Ecotourism industry and the creative economy are encouraged to be able to have an impact in the form of income distribution, especially fishermen in Gili Labak, Sumenep Regency. The development of the ecotourism and tourism culture concept in an industry based on online traveling services using Telegram is actually an interesting development in regions that focus on tourism services based on the wishes of tourist visitors. Problems, serious problems and dilemmas in tourism management and development, dilemmatic problems faced in a choice of continuing to run a tourism business to increase income and meet the economic needs of the local population as well as environmental sustainability issues in places where the tourism sector is the sector that is affected first and its recovery the very last. It is hoped that this research will provide a solution to this dilemma. The concept of ecotourism development is oriented towards environmental education and the ecosystem concept and is integrated with the existence of social media in the form of One Stop Service Traveling (OSST) by both telegram groups as a means of promotion and presentation of statistically clear information on the factual conditions of tourist destinations at any time in providing reliable information services. professionals to restore the much needed and important tourism sector. Weaknesses and Obstacles faced: So dynamic and complex social problems arise from a conceptual justification of the 5 things above when considered as a basis for determining optimization of service quality that will support the sustainability of sustainable ecotourism development. On the other hand, those who use Telegram groups are prone to irresponsible advertising intruders, whether it be hoax advertisements or pornographic advertisements. The number of tourists or travelers visiting during the current Covid-19 pandemic, which is limited to the number of visitors per day, will have an impact on increasing residents' income, which will take a long and slow time. There is a need for an effective marketing strategy and outreach with the traveler community, both on a national and international scale.

Abstract

This study aims to address two main theses. First, this study focuses on the question of how technology and digitalization create people who cannot be separated from technology, called homo digitalis. Second, this study seeks to open a discourse of “new space” that is different from the real space created by homo digitalis. By using the method of literature review, this study is expected to lay the foundation for scientific studies on digitalization and the formation of new spaces in the era of digital technology. The results of the study refer to two basic arguments. First, homo digitalis is not just a user of technology. He exists through and in digital machines. That is, he exists in the confinement and governmentality of digital technology. Second, the new space created by homo digitalis is very different from real space. This does not mean that the new space is notreal, but the new space is considered real even though it is telepresent. This study is the basis for redefining space and human existence in the digital world.

Abstract

The environmental carrying capacity in coastal areas is interesting to develop and can be achieved through two approaches, namely the supply side approach and the demand side approach. From the supply side, this research aims to implement the Carrying Capacity of the Coastal Environment, this research seeks to understand the relationship between external factors in the form of Interest, Initiation, Loyalty, Content Validity has been used with the Content Validity Index (CVI) method, while Construction Validity has been used with the Confirmatory method Factor Analysis used Amos 23. Abstract

This study examines how religious ideology is socially constructed in shaping a social defense system grounded in national defense within the Madurese community. In this context, strong religious values function not only as spiritual guidance but also as the basis for social norms, collective identity, and communal awareness in responding to both military and non-military threats. Using a qualitative approach, this research was conducted in Pamekasan Subdistrict, Madura, East Java, through observation, in-depth interviews, literature review, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) involving relevant stakeholders. Data were collected through non-participant observation, genealogical studies, and literature analysis, and were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The study applies the Social Construction of Reality framework, focusing on the processes of externalization, objectification, and internalization. The findings reveal that religious values are continuously produced and reproduced through the roles of kiai, pesantren, and local traditions such as slametan and haul, which have undergone strong institutionalization and become collectively accepted social realities. These values are internalized by individuals, forming a religious habitus that fosters a sense of national defense as a moral and religious obligation. The study concludes that the integration of religious values and national defense generates a cultural and ideological form of social defense that strengthens national resilience from within society. In this context, national defense is understood not only as a physical effort but also as a social practice rooted in spirituality, social solidarity, and collective responsibility. This research contributes to the sociology of defense and offers practical insights for developing national defense awareness programs based on local wisdom and religious values. The role of non-state actors as strategic elements in building social and cultural-based national resilience is the focus of this research
