Abstract

Saat ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhan simplisia tanaman obat diarahkan dari hasil budidaya, sehingga memerlukan bibit yang berkualitas baik dan seragam dalam waktu yang bersamaan Akan dilakukan penelitian upaya pembibitan tanaman sarang semut (Myrmecodia pendans) dengan pemberian IBA dan BAP melalui kultur jaringan. Penelitian ini dilakukan mengingat perlu dikembangkan dan dibudidayakan tanaman sarang semut yang bermutu sebagai bahan baku pembuatan obat. Teknik kultur jaringan memiliki kelebihan karena tidak dipengaruhi oleh iklim dengan waktu produksi relatif cepat, bebas kontaminasi mikroba dan tidak memerlukan lahan yang luas. Penelitian dilakukan dilaboratorium kultur jaringan Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Tanaman Obat dan Obat Tradisional Tawangmangu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menambahkan zat pengatur tumbuh IBA dan BAP masing-masing dengan konsentrasi 0, 2, 4 dan 6 mg/l. Masa inkubasi 2 bulan diperoleh hasil pertumbuhan terbaik diperoleh pada penambahan IBA dan BAP masing – maing 2 mg/l yaitu dengan jumlah daun 2, jumlah akar 2  dan panjang akar 4 mm.

Abstract

Purwoceng (Pimpinella pruatjan Molk) represents one of the plantation medicines of Indonesia, which its population was almost extinction (endangered). Purwoceng represent the original plant of Indonesia with the swampy forest limited so that need special effort to preserve. Purwoceng represents the endemic species which was growing in the mountain with the height of 1.800-3.500 m dpl in West Java (Pangrango Mountain), Central Java (Dieng plateau) and East Java. Purwoceng seeds represent the highly cost commodity, which is observed by a lot of jamu industry. Volcano dusty from Kelud mountain eruption on Thusday, 12 February 2014 diseminating widely and reach the region Yogyakarta, Central Java and West Java. The volcano dusty could give the fertility of land and plant. It became the good materials for media planting. This research was conducted in Medicinal Plant and Traditional Medicine Research and Development Centre with Complete Random Device Methods, by using the volcano dusty media of Kelud mountain with the treatment of giberelin 0 (control), 25, 50 and 75 ppm. The research showed that the purwoceng seed with the addition of giberelin 25 ppm gave the best result of growth, the average of total leaf was 6,7 pieces, the length of handle was 6,11 cm and the length of root was 11, 7 cm with the colour of leaf was yellow green at 3 month olds.

Abstract

The role of cross-sectors in synergy with community empowerment in controlling schistosomiasis is a very effective model. Until mid-2017, the incidence rate of disease in humans in 28 endemic villages still ranged 0.00-2.15%. This research aims to evaluate schistosomiasis control activities that have been carried out across sectors based on a road map for schistosomiasis eradication and community empowerment in controlling schistosomiasis. The study was mixed method. Data were obtained by in-depth interview with key informants and evaluation of the results of cross-sectoral and community activities. The research was carried out in an endemic area for schistosomiasis on the Bada Plateau, Indonesia, from January to November 2019. In conclusion, the potential of cross-sector collaboration in controlling schistosomiasis has not been fully realized due to budget constraints. Community empowerment is carried out to eliminate snail foci, increase the scope of feces collection and change community behavior for the better in order to avoid infection and always try to clean up snail foci.
