Abstract

Abstract

Lasem is a sub-district on the east side of Rembang regency which is directly adjacent to the province of East Java. Lasem Square has existed since the kingdom era in 1513 and is constantly undergoing changes followed by a reduction in the area, function and activities therein. Along with the shrinking area and even the disappearance of the square that occurred from time to time, it is necessary to research the typology and morphology of the square to be used as a basis for revitalizing the Lasem square. This study aims to analyze the morphology of the Alun-alun Lasem, using historical reference data, books, field surveys, interviews, mapping and digitizing. In this study using descriptive qualitative analysis methods, as ingredients to add analysis based on field findings. Based on the results of this study it was found that the Typology and Morphology of the Lasem Square was influenced by government and ruling policy factors in its era. This is indicated by the changes in the square in terms of the extent, functions and activities that exist within and in the supporting area and its surroundings.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the tourism potentials located in Pekalongan City is Pasir Kencana Beach which is located in Panjang Wetan Village, North Pekalongan District. Pasir Kencana Beach is approximately ±4km or approximately ±15 minutes from the center of Pekalongan City. This beach has previously attracted a lot of interest from local and out-of-town tourists because of its beautiful sunset views in the afternoon. The Golden Sands tourist location is close to the port, fish auctions and nearby beach tourist attractions so it is very strategic and easy to reach. Pasir Kencana Beach is generally used as a family tourist destination. Golden sand beach used to have an area of beach sand that sparkled like gold, but as sea levels rose or tidal disasters caused the embankments to be damaged, some facilities were poorly maintained and the playground area was submerged when heavy rains arrived, so revitalization or repair of tourist attractions was needed to bring them back to life. Beach tourism can increase the number of visitors and economic growth in the surrounding area. In an effort to support the development of the Marine Tourism Area in the Pekalongan City area into an integrated beach tourism destination, a development concept is needed through infrastructure development which includes aspects of Accessibility, Amenities and Attractions (3A). The infrastructure development components include repairing roads to tourist areas, structuring coastal tourist areas which include facilities and infrastructure supporting the area such as: construction of public spaces (rest areas, parking, ticketing, play areas, toilets, landmarks, green open spaces, street furniture, as well as management of drainage, solid waste, waste and others.

Abstract

Bank Jateng Archive Building located on Jalan Pekojan No. 2 Semarang is the first building owned by Bank Jateng which was occupied as the second headquarters in 1969. In 1981 the Head Office of Bank Jateng moved to Jalan Pemuda No. 4A Semarang and currently the building is used as an Archive Building.Considering the age of the building, the condition of the building that has not been maintained for a long time and the rarely used of the building, the building must be used by filling it with new activities or activities that intend to revive the use of the building. Reviving or revitalizing abandoned buildings allows the existing building to be used for new purposes. By giving new life to abandoned buildings, especially those of high historical importance, it can be transformed into something beneficial to the surrounding environment, especially by incorporating modern functions that are in line with the times to invite the activities of users who need them. With a qualitative method, this research will analyze in detail the aspects that can be used to become an adaptive reuse building concept that has the goal of providing a new function into an abandoned building, providing a new design without destroying the entire existing building structure and elements in it. The concept applied to the adaptive reuse of the Bank Jateng Archive Building macroly maintains the spatial structure. It's just that in a certain space it is an adaptation related to the urgency of the building's function, applicable regulations, and building technical standards, which in this case emphasizes the value of the safety of the space function and the application of ergonomic and inclusive design. According to the identification that has been carried out on the Bank Jateng archive building, it is known that the building style is something that must be maintained. With the main elements forming the original façade will be maintained. And improve the aesthetic harmony of the façade.
