Abstract

Penguasaan literasi keuangan di era digital sudah menjadi kebutuhan terlebih di era new normal sekarang ini. Pembayaran dan penerimaan tunai (kas) sudah mulai berkurang. Selain itu, faktor keamanan menjadi pertimbangan tersendiri. Sayangnya, kemapuan ini masih dinilai belum dikuasai oleh guru-guru sekolah vokasi. Untuk mempercepat kemampuan literasi ini, maka kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat kelompok SMK PUI Kota Cirebon ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kecakapan literasi teknologi keuangan (FINTECH). Pendekatan yang dipakai adalah seminar yang dilaksanakan di SMK PUI Kota Cirebon. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan literasi keuangan digital di antara para guru SMK PUI Kota Cirebon. Dengan demikian, hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan seminar ini dapat menimbuhkan sikap positif dan berdampak pada literasi keuangan para tenaga profesional di lingkungan SMK PUI di kota Cirebon Kata kunci: fintech, guru, literasi keuangan

Abstract

The phenomenon of communication on social media Instagram and Tiktok in the Gen-z youth community is one of which has changed the meaning of language. Changes in meaning include expansion, narrowing, total change, refinement, and marketing. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the changes and shifts in the meaning of the Indonesian language in the Gen-Z youth community and to find out what words have undergone changes and shifts in the meaning of the Gen-Z youth community on Instagram and TikTok social media. The data sources used in this study are words found on Instagram and TikTok in the Gen-Z youth community. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with the technique of reading and taking notes. The results of this study show that the meaning of language in the communication of the Gen-Z adolescent community has changed and shifted in meaning along with the development of language and technology on social media. As well as finding words that have undergone changes and shifts in the GeN-Z youth community, including; The broad meaning is; major, sultan, viral, operation, caste, stealing, and adhan, the meaning of narrowing is: teacher, revocation, and hijab, total change, namely: crisp, chili-cabean (chili), honey, change, filter, and stone, meaning of garnish, namely: dajjal, demon, and tadpole, and the meaning of refinement, namely: to the back and anjay.

Abstract

The Indonesian language instruction that has been applied by teachers in the classroom still relies on the practical application of conventional models, even though it is still ineffective and making students bored in the class. The purposes of this research are 1) to explain the use of cooperative learning model, especially Think-Pair-Share (henceforth TPS) in pantun (a type of old poetry) writing instruction in seventh grade to effectively improve students' abilities in writing pantun, 2) to describe the learning process of pantun writing by using TPS, and 3) to find out whether there are differences in students’ pantun writing skills before and after the use of TPS.This study used a quasi-experimental research method. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using test questions and observation sheets.  Based on the results, it can be concluded that tcount>ttable so that the application of TPS is effective in pantun writing instruction. In addition, in terms of the learning process, the use of TPS makes the students more active and the instruction more optimal than the conservative methods. Students also show improvements in writing pantun after the application of the TPS model.

Abstract

This paper reports a workshop series of community services conducted in a senior high school in Indonesia. This workshop series focused on the developing the school teachers’ comprehension about Classroom Action Research to promote their instructional professional development. For the data gathering, conferences were main technique in exploring and discovering their view points of the workshops. The results show that, regardless their barriers of being directly observed in classroom practices, the school teachers’ awareness of being professional teaching is improved. They become more motivated to attend the conference and enthusiastically involved in the discussion. Yet, barriers are also reported to show that limitation is also found during the workshop and services.
