Abstract

Utilization of solar cell technology as a source of electrical energy in Indonesia is still not well developed whereas Indonesia is located on the equator so it gets abundant sunshine. Technology should be maintained for the future of technology is environmentally friendly, one PLTS. SPP is a power generation system that converts solar energy into electricity through a photovoltaic module that is included in the green energy to become a renewable generator. The results show for the time being the use of solar systems, especially at the train station to meet its electricity needs not be economically viable. This is due to the high investment cost of solar systems compared with the cost of electricity purchased from conventional sources. However, sensitivity analyzes carried outshowed solar systems became feasible in some conditions.

Abstract

A warship has its own power plant which directly supply and distribute to meet its electrical power demand. On a warship which operated by Satuan Amphibi Komando Armada Republik Indonesia Kawasan Barat TNI AL, KRI Teluk Celukan Bawang 532 has 4 diesel generators located in engine room. This 4 diesel generators have a parallel connection and alternately work with the change of electrical load. The change of electric load based on a warship operating conditions. Power supply on the warship needs to generate and maintain a constant electric voltage and frequency, as well as a sufficient power when a warship is docking, before sailing and sailing. A calculation of elecric loads is very important to choose the capacity and the number of generator used with limitedspace on a warship.

Abstract

Medium voltage feeders are a means for the distribution of electricity from substations to consumers. But in reality these feeders often experience interference, among other is interference onthe low voltage network, especiallyCircuit For Low Voltage Device. Circuit For Low Voltage Device (PHB-TR) is device used as a liaison, security, and dividers electrical power from an electric power source to the customer. Over time, the PHB-TR also decreased quality of service so that should be their efforts to overcome the problems in order to maintain or restore the initial achievement level and can operate with high reliability so that the continuity of the electrical service will be achieved. The disturbances that can occur in this PHB-TR as damage to the NH fuse, corona contained in ground plate, over current and damage to the measuring instrument.Additionally by overcoming the interference can secure the assets of PLN from the interferences and reduce the cost of replacing broken tools.

Abstract

In this Mansion Apartment Building there is electricity installation that have capacity about 3600 kVA that’s be supplied by main electricity resource namely PLN State Electricity Company and Generator set as reserve source. Low voltage cable distribution system network in order to distribute the power of electricity to building main panel to each floor panel use cable branch system thataccording to developer it is more saver from its investment cost sector and also more efficient from its installation technical and can decrease the apreciate of distribution voltage. This research analyze this building electricity distribution system that have been installed the branch of cable be compared if use conventional cable by method in collecting burden data, the flat and length of cable as suitable with the field. For conventional cable data be made assumption base on burden data, meanwhile the flat and length of cable as suitable with the exist cable. Result of this analysis be gotten the electricity distribution sistem comparison data that use branch of cable more saver for the investment sector and operational method be compared if use conventional cable. The results obtained by analysis of usage data distribution cables on each floor according to the load and cable length shrinkage maximum voltage wires branched 1.64% on the 40th floor, while 2.98% of conventional cables at the floor sama.Susut voltage does not exceed 5% .. Comparison of electrical distribution system use more sparingly branched wiring in investment and operationally than using conventional cables at 24.35%.

Abstract

In a power system, load always changes; power flows to the system will be vary too. In the event of two interconnected power generations trip one of its generators unit, there will be a change in frequency. A model is developed to simulate the trip events, a model that represents gas turbine generator, GAST is turbine model used to simulate unit's frequency response against load changes in the power system. Using SIMULINK, a simulation tool a model for multi area is made, First model aims to distinct the response using the primary governor controller and secondary controller PID. PID control provides better transient oscillation of frequency response. Tie line bias control is used to zero frequency deviation in steady state, The generator characteristics allows balanced load-sharing between the two control areas. An extreme power failure condition is simulated to see worst frequency deviation may possible to occur in power system, an extreme condition where the load increases exceeding the power system’s maximum capacity. Load shedding of significant load can be done to restore the system’s frequency back to its nominal and prevent system collapse.

Abstract

Abstract

Generating system using solar energy technology is generally categorized into two groups, There are using of passive technology and active utilization of technology. These groupings depending on the absorption process, conversion, and distribution of solar energy. Examples of active solar energy utilization is the use of photovoltaic panels and heat absorber panel. Examples of passive solar energy utilization includes directing the building toward the sun, choose a building with thermal mass or good light dispersion capabilities, and designing the room with natural air circulation.Solar radiation intensity data in a specified area can be obtained in three ways: first, direct measurement using a measuring instrument pyranometer, pyrheliometer and Campbell stokest. Second, with the satellite imagery data, satellite imagery data is widely used because it is easily accessible globally. Third, with the numeric modeling in simulation computer for the purpose of knowing the potential radiation that will come. In an effort to encourage the use of renewable energy in the region, especially solar energy, has conducted studies of solar energy potential by conducting a preliminary survey and installation of pyranometer, in West Sumbawa regency of the Month from September to December 2015 by an average of 762.331 watts / m2.

Abstract

During this rubbish into a serious problem, especially in urban areas. Many piles of garbage on Disposal Temporary (TPS) in settlements, polluting the air and groundwater, and become a breeding ground for animals and bacteria carrying diseases. After days accumulate and rot in the polling stations, garbage transported to the final disposal (landfill). Dozens of garbage trucks passing through a public road, spreading the odor and can spread the disease. In the landfill is also only allowed to accumulate, mounting, polluting the air, contaminating groundwater on a wider scale.Organic waste is waste that can be experienced weathering (decomposition) and breaks down into materials that are smaller and do not smell (often referred to as compost). Waste Management pattern is still adhered to the old paradigm where the waste is still dianggapsebagai something useless, economically viable and very disgusting. Abstract

Determination of Prambanan temple as a world cultural heritage implications for the nation's responsibility and obligation to protect and preserve the building in accordance with the convention set by UNESCO. The Convention, among others keep building preservation from the danger of war, physical damage because with age, and natural disasters. An earthquake with magnitude 6.3 in Yogyakarta in 2006 made Prambanan little structural damage. One of them is the fall of the temple stones. Historical sites requires electrical energy, especially light to keep the nation's inheritance of crime and vandalism. The electricity supply is particularly important given the current post-earthquake infrastructure much impaired and this is where alternative energy power plants is needed. The application of solar power technology offgrid System in the future is as a replacement or substitution in diesel fuel usage, as well as to increase the ratio of electricity. The study provides recommendations placement of solar cell three locations namely at location A (coordinates 110.491 -7.751 S E) with an area of 0.31 hectares, the location B (coordinates 110.493 -7.752 S E) with anarea of 0.06 hectares, and the location C Location C (coordinates 110.491 -7.750 S E) with an area of 0.05 hectares. Solar modules produced when dibutuhan power of 1500 Watts takes 47 modules with energy generated by 40 kWh. Based on a simulation of a computer program on the area of 100m2 takes 50 solar modules for generating electrical energy 53.56 kWh per day.

Abstract

Boeing 737 requires a mains voltage of 115 volts AC, 28 volt AC and 28 volts DC to operate. The voltage obtained from various sources of electrical energy. The main source of electrical energy are two generator that produces AC voltage of 115 volts, 400 Hz. Electrical protection system on the aircraft is made to the security system of electrical equipment installed in the power system in the aircraft. The purpose of the protection system is to prevent damage to electrical equipment due to disturbances such as over current, under-voltage, high voltage, over frequency, under frequency, and differential current. In addition, to reduce the number of accidents due to aircraft electrical equipment always gated. For the control and safety on aircraft electrical system own Generator Control Unit (GCU) and Bus Protection Panel (BPP) with different functions. Electrical installation on aircraft designed for air still have power even though in a state of emergency, in order to keep operating safely and comfortably.
