Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge and understanding of the dangers of smoking for adolescents. Activities are carried out online using the Zoom Meeting application in June 2021. The method of activity by providing socialization of the dangers of smoking to adolescents. The community service participants are 8th grade junior high school students, totaling 64 children. Based on gender, the service participants consisted of 34 male students (53,13%) and 30 female students (46,87%). Based on pre-test, 40,5% of students did not know the dangers of smoking and 59,5% of students knew the dangers of smoking. Based on the results of the post test, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge about the dangers of smoking. As many as 98% know about the dangers of smoking and 2% are less aware of the dangers of smoking. Counselling related to the dangers of smoking can increase adolescent awareness of the magnitude of the adverse effects of smoking on health.

Abstract

Downtime in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system at Udayana Level II Military Hospital has reduced the effectiveness of outpatient services. System disruptions in the registration and admission units have led to long queues and increased the risk of medical errors.  This study aims to analyze the causes of this downtime using the 5M management approach (Man, Money, Material, Machine, Method). A descriptive qualitative method was employed. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with key informants in the relevant units. Interview guidelines were used as instruments to explore operational constraints in each of the 5M elements. The results revealed that downtime was caused by limited digital competencies of staff (Man), outdated computer specifications (Machine), and network disruptions due to adverse weather conditions (Material). Additionally, inefficient manual transition workflows (Method) and bureaucratic obstacles in the implementation of the IT budget (Money) were identified as critical contributing factors contributing to the disruptions. That the dominant factors causing downtime lie in the Man, Machine, and Material aspects, supported by the Method and Money factors; therefore, integrated improvements are needed to enhance system reliability and service quality. It is recommended that management streamline the bureaucracy surrounding equipment repairs, upgrade hardware, provide UPS systems, and offer self-mitigation training to staff to ensure uninterrupted service.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mendorong transformasi digital di berbagai sektor, termasuk sektor kesehatan. Salah satu implementasi transformasi digital kesehatan di Indonesia adalah pemanfaatan aplikasi SatuSehat Mobile yang terintegrasi dengan sistem rekam medis elektronik. Namun, tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat, khususnya kalangan pelajar, mengenai peran rekam medis dan pemanfaatan aplikasi kesehatan digital masih relatif rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa mengenai peran rekam medis sebagai penyedia informasi kesehatan serta pentingnya menjaga kerahasiaan data kesehatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar dengan melibatkan 25 siswa sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi persiapan, pre-test, sosialisasi, edukasi menggunakan pendekatan Community Based Interactive Approach (CBIA), post-test, dan evaluasi. Materi yang diberikan mencakup pengenalan rekam medis elektronik, kerahasiaan data kesehatan, manfaat rekam medis, risiko kebocoran data, serta pemanfaatan aplikasi SatuSehat Mobile. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang masih terbatas dengan nilai dominan pada rentang 6–7 dari skor maksimal 10. Setelah diberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi, hasil post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, dimana seluruh peserta memperoleh nilai maksimal 10. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan digital, pemahaman tentang rekam medis, serta kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya perlindungan data kesehatan pribadi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung peningkatan literasi kesehatan digital di kalangan pelajar dan mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi kesehatan secara optimal dalam mendukung transformasi digital kesehatan nasional.
