Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the thinking process VII Graders of Junior High School in mathematics problem solving in plane geometry. This study was a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of research was the VII graders of SMP (Junior High School) Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta consisting of four students. The subject was selected based on gender, mathematics ability and either spoken or written communication fluency. The data collection was conducted using think aloud technique. Data analysis was conducted based think aloud protocol. Then, time triangulation was conducted between the first and the second problems, and then method triangulation was done to obtain valid research subject data.This research finally provide the student’s thinking process as follows. The male students: 1) understand and analyze the problem by mentioning what they know and what asked, the thinking process used is the process of establishing cognition, 2) design and plan solution, used the thinking process of opinion establishment, 3) look for solution to problem solving, used thinking process of decision making and conclusion drawing, 4) examine the solution, could estimate mentally by writing nothing he did, the thinking process in this step was decision making thinking process. Female students: 1) understand the problem using thinking process of establishing cognition, to mention easily and correctly what they know in the problem and to mention what asked, 2) design and plan the solution using thinking process of opinion establishment and cognition establishment. could link the what known and what asked, 3) look for solution to problem using thinking process of decision making and conclusion drawing, 4) examine the solution, it is consistent with the students that can examine and investigate the prepared solution.Keywords: thinking process, mathematics problem solving, gender.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan manfaat dan tingkat rasio keuangan yang berguna untuk memprediksi return saham dan nilai perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan mengevaluasi pengaruh mediasi profitabilitas terhadap Good Corporate Governance (GCG) dan return saham perusahaan perbankkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini Good Corporate Governace (GCG) diproksikan dengan kepemilikan manajerial sebagai variabel independen, profitabilitas diproksikan dengan ROA (Return On Asset) sebagai variabel mediasi, sedangkan return saham sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas tidak memediasi hubungan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) terhadap return saham perusahaan keuangan perbankkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Analisis laporan keuangan berdasarkan data perusahaan-perusahaan keuangan perbankan di Bursa Efek Jakarta 2010-2015.

Abstract

Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian adalah menemukan model prediksi yang tepat untuk kenyamanan sehingga didapat penghematan energi pada bangunan. Target khusus penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan uji statistik yang paling akurat dari penelitian kenyamanan termal. Faktor kenyamanan termal terdiri dari faktor iklim dan penghuni. Faktor iklim terdiri dari variabel suhu udara, kelembaban udara, suhu radiasi matahari rata-rata, kecepatan angin. Faktor penghuni terdiri dari jenis kelamin, pendapatan, usia, berat badan, tinggi badan, pakaian, metabolisme. Faktor kenyamanan termal didapat dari hasil sensasi termal yang didasarkan pada standar ASHRAE (American Standar of Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioing Engineer). Pengumpulan data variabel iklim dilakukan dengan cara pengukuran di lapangan sedangkan data penghuni dilakukan dengan cara pengisian kuesioner. Penelitian kenyamanan termal ini mengambil obyek rumah tinggal vernakular di dua tempat yang berbeda dari iklim nya yaitu daerah tropis pegunungan dengan suhu udara rendah dan daerah tropis pantai dengan suhu udara tinggi. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi dari SPSS dengan pengecekan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Akan dihasilkan model persamaan matematis dengan penggunaan uji statistik sehingga akan diketahui seberapa besar pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Model atau persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan adalah Y = -2.028 X + 0.015 X? + 1.276 X? - 0.016 X? + 0.15 X? - 0.12 X? + 0.281 X? + 0.216 X? - 0.014 X? - 0.0.34 X? - 0.0583 X?? dimana X? adalah Jenis Kelamin, X? adalah Pendapatan, X? adalah Usia, X? adalah Berat Badan, X? Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the application of the time token learning model with puzzle media in Pancasila and Civic Education learning and the enhancement of students' social skills after applying the time token learning model with puzzle media. The study used a qualitative approach with the classroom action research type. The data were described in a quantitative descriptive manner. The study used two cycles that consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques had to be done through observation, reflection, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out interactively. The application of the time token learning model with puzzle media was carried out by conveying the objectives, explaining the material meaning of the position and function of Pancasila, the procedure for implementing the model, forming groups, giving speech coupons, distributing puzzles, combining puzzles, analyzing puzzle results, presenting and providing responses. The improvement of students' social skills after applying the time token learning model with puzzle media was proven before the action that passed the Minimum Graduation Criteria (KKM) by 45.14 percent, after being given the first cycle it became 65.50 percent and in the second cycle, it became 79.96 percent.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce an appropriate, attractive, and effective learning cycle 7e-based international human rights justice module. The research and development model used in this study refers to the steps of Borg & Gall. The test subjects in this study were 47 class D students of the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Malang. The module feasibility test was based on the validation results of material experts at 84.8 percent, media experts at 93.3 percent, and learning experts at 83.3 percent. The module's attractiveness level is based on the results of small-group trials of 98.5 percent and large group trials of 94.7 percent. The module effectiveness test was obtained from the results of the large group trials, namely the pre-test average value of 67.38 and 83.21 post-test. Based on the trial results, it showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes of 15.83. It indicated that there had been a significant difference between student learning outcomes before and after using the developed module.
