Abstract

The Wadaslintang Dam is located in Sumberejo Village, Wadaslintang District, Wonosobo Regency, and borders Padureso District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province, along the Bedegolan River within the Serayu–Bogowonto River Basin. Known for its stunning natural beauty, the reservoir holds significant potential as an attractive tourist destination. The vision of this community engagement program is to develop Wadaslintang Reservoir into a leading tourism site that is community-managed, sustainable, and capable of empowering the local population. The program employed methods of socialization and mentoring, supported by a series of initiatives that actively involved the community, including awareness-raising through reflective discussions, the establishment of reservoir enthusiast groups, participatory mapping, and long-term participatory planning. The activities enhanced community understanding of their vital role in reservoir management, as shown by evaluation results, where the average pre-test score of 63.33 increased to 85.33 out of 100 in the post-test following the socialization activities. This improvement highlights the effectiveness of participatory approaches and two-way communication in fostering community awareness and engagement.

Abstract

Banjarnegara is an area in the Banyumas Residency that is crossed by a railway line. The line was built during the Dutch colonial period. Traces of this line can still be seen today. This is why this research needs to be conducted, namely to find out (a) How was the railway line through Purwareja Klampok-Banjarnegara built? (b) How was the Purwareja Klampok-Banjarnegara railway line used? (c) What was the fate of the Purwareja Klampok-Banjarnegara line during the Dutch colonial period? This research was conducted using historical research methods. Historical research methods consist of several stages, namely topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this research are as follows: (a) The Purwareja Klampok-Banjarnegara line was part of a line operated by the Serajoedal Stoomtram Maatschappijj company, which was built in 1895 and completed in 1988. (b) The Purwareja Klampok-Banjarnegara line was used to transport industrial products, goods, and people, or for public transportation. (c) The Purwareja Klampok-Banjarnegara line ended with various problems, namely the Malaise and the Dutch East Indies occupation by Japan. Thus, the history of railways in Banjarnegara once had its heyday. In addition, the use of rail transportation was also quite important in supporting transportation modes in the region, boosting the community's economy, and contributing to national development efforts

Abstract

Selain memberikan manfaat bagi manusia, bendungan juga menimbulkan potensi bahaya yang besar bagi sekitarnya. Potensi bahaya tersebut adalah  runtuhnya bangunan bendungan yang dapat mengakibatkan banjir disekitarnya. Penilaian kondisi bendungan diperlukan untuk mengetahui tingkat keamanan bendungan dan sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk kegiatan pemeliharaan dan rehabilitasi bendungan. Lokasi Penelitian ini adalah Bendungan Sempor. Bendungan Sempor terletak di Desa Sempor, Kecamatan Sempor, Kabupaten Kebumen, Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Terletak kira-kira 8 Km arah utara Kabupaten Gombong. Manfaat bendungan Sempor adalah untuk irigasi, pembangkit tenaga listrik, pengendali banjir, perikanan dan rekreasi. Luas layanan irigasi adalah 6.600 Ha. Pembangunan bendungan ini dilaksanakan pada Tahun 1975 dan selesai pada Tahun 1978. Secara umum bendungan Sempor terdiri dari bendungan utama, bangunan pelengkap, dan bendungan pembantu (Auxiliary Dam). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitaf dengan menentukan skala prioritas menggunakan metode ANP da menggunakan Software Super Decision sebagai alat bantu analisis. Menganalisis dan menghitung penilaian kondisi fisik dan fungsi bendungan agar didapatkan hasil penilaian kondisi bendungan. Berdasarkan dari analisis penilaian Bendungan Sempor diperoleh penilaian B, yang berarti Bendungan Sempor memiliki kondisi rusak ringan jika nilai kondisi 80–90% dan nilai tingkat kerusakan 10–20% dari kondisi awal bangunan.
