Abstract

Coronary heart disease is caused by a blockage in vascular system, blocking the flow  of blood into the heart. Due to the blockage, the amount of blood carrying oxygen to the heart decreases, therefore some of the heart’s muscle were unable to function well without enough nutrition and oxygen  ( myocardial infarction ) . The type of  the research is the field of clinical nutrition descriptive analytic crosssectional approach ( short -term approach ). Number of samples 28 respondents consisting of hospital outpatient Tugurejo Semarang . Univariate analysis was to present the frequency distribution . Data normality test performed by Shapiro - Wilks test . Bivariate analysis to examine the relationship between the dependent variable (total cholesterol blood level) and independent variables (fat intake and cholesterol intake) with Spearman Rank correlation.  Total samples are mostly female 18 respondents ( 64.3 % ) , while the largest age group is based on the age of 45-60 years  21 respondents ( 75.0 % . For highest education SMA is the 13 respondents ( 46.4 % ). most of the job is housewife 14 respondents (50,0%)and most of the nutritional status is overweight 17 respondents (60,7%). All of respondents’s cholesterol level are >200 mg/dl (not normal) there are 28 respondents (100%) , there are 15 respondents (53,6%) had not normal fat intake (>25%). There are 17 respondents had not normal cholesterol intake (>300mg/day). Statistical analysis showed there is association between fat intake with total cholesterol levels , and there is association between cholesterolintake with total cholesterol levels. The conclusion is more higher fat intake and cholesterol intake increasing total cholesterol levels.Keywords : Fat Intake , Cholesterol Intake , Total Cholesterol Levels , CHD .

Abstract

The prevalence of undernutrition on the children under 5 years old in Pulutan village is 6,9% it is higher than the others. Undernutrition is caused by some factors; food intake, infection, pattern of care, food pattern, cultural habit, healthy care, sanitation, education, knowledge, economic, politic, and social. The purpose of this research is to find the relation between energy intake and protein intake factors of undernutrition children age 2-5 years. The method used in this research is case control design. Population are children age 2-5 years who get undernutrition and wellnutrition in Pulutan village. Sampel are 21 cases and 21 controls by random. Independent variables are energy intake and protein intake.Dependent variable is children nutritional status. The data nutritional status were gathered using standart antropometric prosedures, the data of energy and protein intake were gathered from recall 2x24 hours. Corellation between variables were tested using Chi Square or FisherExact and multiple regressions logistic. There is relation between protein intake with nutritional status (x2=4,725; p=0,03). There is not relation between energy intake with nutritional status (x2=1,003; p=0,317). Byusing multiple regression logistic there is relation between protein intake with nutritional status (p=0,042; RP=14,4), relation energy intake with nutritional status (p=0,802; RP=0,7). The Conclusion is Determinant factor undernutrition children age 2-5 years of Pulutan village is protein intake.Keywords : energy intake, protein intake, undernutrition, children age 2-5 years.

Abstract

The main cause of anemia is iron deficiency. Other cause of anemia is an acute or chronic inflammation, parasitic infections and irregular. synthesis haemoglobin. Impact of anemia in young children is the increased morbidity and mortality, physical growth and brain inhibition, inhibition of motor development, mental and intelligence.This research is explanative research, with the sampling method is systematic random sampling. Sample takes as many as 58 of 136 students with a 10% reserve is 5,8 or 6 students, thus, the samples takewere 64 students rounded up to 65 student. To research hypothesis tested in this study with a statistical test non parametric, and correlation Rank Spearman to see the correlation between variables.There is the correlation between vitamin C intake with hemoglobin levels on grade 8 student SMP Negeri 3 Brebes (r = 0,551 and p value 0,000 < 0,05). There is the correlation between iron intake with hemoglobin levels on grade 8 student SMP Negeri 3 Brebes (r = 0,564 and p value 0,000 < 0,05)Keyword : Vitamin C intake, Iron Intake, Haemoglobin Level
