Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect, motivation, work environment and discipline on the performance of high school teachers in the city of Bogor. This study uses the data questionnaire distributed to teachers working in secondary schools in the city of Bogor. The method used in this research is the analysis of individual level. The research object High School in the city of Bogor. Number of questionnaires distributed as many as 350 sheets, questionnaires back as much as 300 sheets, while a questionnaire that can be used as many as 280 sheets. The test results are used by multiple linear regression which include validity, reliability and test R Square. Results from the study showed the coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) has a value of 0.769, so it can be seen that the variables of motivation, work environment and discipline 78.9%, the performance of teachers of vocational schools in the city of Bogor. while the remaining amount. 21.1% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of dual role conflict and all emotional intelligence on the performance of women employees. This research was conducted in PT Infineon Technologies Batam. The study population was women employees are encouraged FOL department at PT Infineon Technologies Batam. The sample in this study of 122 respondents to make use probability sampling method is simple random sampling. The independent variable in this study is a double role conflict and emotional intelligence, while the dependent variable is the performance of employees. The results of this study indicate that the dual role conflict and emotional intelligence significantly affect the performance of women employees. Partially dual role conflict does not significantly affect the performance of women employees, while emotional intelligence on the performance of women at the significance level of less than 0.05 or 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Operation Expenses to Operations Income (BOPO), Net Interest Margin (NIM) to Return On Assets (ROA). The existing data in this research is secondary data, that is banking company in Bursa Efek Indonesia. The number of samples used are 22 commercial banks listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with period 2011-2015 taken through purposive sampling. The method of analysis used in this study is to use multiple regression analysis that has previously done the classical assumption test first. Analyzer used in this research consist of classical assumption test, that is normality test, multicolinierity test, heteroskedasticity test, autocorrelation test and multiple linear regression analysis, that is determination test, T test and F test.The result of the test in this research shows that the variable of Capital Adequacy Ratio partially significant effect on Return On Assets with a significance value of 0.001 is smaller than 0.05. Loan to Deposit Ratio variable partially no effect on Return On Assets with significance value 0.422 greater than 0.05. Non Performing Loan variable partially significant to Return On Assets with significant value 0,003 less than 0,05 and Variable Operation Expenses to Operation Income partially significant to Return On Assets with significant value 0.000 less than 0,05. Together Capital Adequacy Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Non Performing Loan and Operation Expenses to Operations Income jointly significant effect on Return On Assets with significant value 0.000 smaller than 0.05. From R Square test result (R2) is 26,4% indicating that there is still 73,6% remaining explained by other variable not included in this research model.

Abstract

Human Resources has an important role in a company. Company is a tool to achieve goals that must be able to provide clarity of status to someone in the working environment, both in terms of ties, position and role. One of the efforts to improve the effectiveness of work is the assessment of employee performance against promotion of office. Performance appraisal is the employee's psychological bond to the company, the willingness to work hard and the desire to further increase in the career. Improving the company's capabilities requires performance changes with changes in system variables, strategic objectives and control systems, interpersonal relationships. In the corporate environment there is a culture of work that is a culture, norms and habits that apply everyday. This study examines the relevance of employee performance appraisal to promotion of positions at Permata Harapan II Batam School. By using linear regression analysis of one independent variable, the result shows that there is influence between employee performance appraisal to promotion of position. Implementation of employee performance appraisal gives the most dominant influence. Employee performance appraisal on promotion positively affects the effectiveness of work at Permata Harapan II Batam School.

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of competence and motivation on employee performance. This research was conducted at PT Torindo Internusa Batam. The sample in this research is employees of PT Torindo Internusa Batam. From the results of research, it is known that, competence has no significant effect on employee performance. Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. The test results simultaneously state that competence and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. R square value in this research is 29,5%, it means, competence and motivation able to explain employee performance equal to 29,5%, while the rest 70,5% influenced by other factor not examined in this research.

Abstract

With advances in technology-enabled in this modern era, Bapelkes Batam create an information system database called the Registration system of education and training, to facilitate the participants to register for training. so that participants do not need to fill out a paper form and in the form of leaflets. This study aims to determine the effect associated with the satisfaction of trainees in facilitating informed abou the biogrphical data and to select the training package. The samples used were all participants in the training Bapelkes. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach that studies using numeric data (numbers), which is then processed and analyzed to be concluded. With that conclusion that the training Registration Information System has been perceived as very beneficialto trainees in Bapelkes Batam. Satisfaction trainees Bapelkes perceived benefit to Batam. Registration Information System training positive effect on satisfaction of trainees in Bapelkes Batam.

Abstract

The competitions of robust businesses nowadays have caused and influenced employers to be cautious in viewing the business opportunities that will be established as well as choosing the right sector to be a place of business. One of businesses having promisingly good prospects is agro-tourism (agribusiness). This study aims to develop and manage business innovation of agro-tourism (a case study of ZORE) by using Design Thinking Approach. In the process, there are five-steps of design thinking management being applied, i.e. empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, where the five steps are basically promoting human center approach in the thought process that focuses on human beings themselves (customer orientation) as a focus of innovation and supported with the prototype, the resulting innovation can be a product, service or business design. The formulation strategy of the ZORE agro-tourism business development based on the study, namely continuous and sustainable development, supports of relevant stakeholder, dissemination of information related to business excellences, and stakeholder dialogue for sustainable agro-tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct effect of job satisfaction on job motivation, direct influence of work motivation on employee performance, direct influence of competence on employee performance, direct influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, indirect influence that is competence to performance Employees through work motivation, indirect influence of job satisfaction on employee performance through work motivation at the Regional Tax Service Office (KPPD) Batam Revenue Service Provincial Riau Islands Province. The number of samples used in this study is 51 samples. The research method used is a scientific method with a quantitative paradigm that is research conducted is research using numerical data or numbers, processing and data analysis using path analysis with SPSS sidware tool Version 21. The results of this study found that competence has a positive and significant influence on work motivation. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on work motivation with. Competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation of work has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Competence has positive and insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation. This means that work motivation is not variable intervening in mediating the relationship of competence on employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation. This means that the motivation of work as an intervening variable in mediating the relationship of job satisfaction on the performance of employees at the Regional Tax Service Office (KPPD) Batam Regional Revenue Service Riau Islands Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the accounting information system of cash receipts in the unit of Family Cooperative of PT Semen Padang. This research uses descriptive approach. Hail research explains that 1)The department store unit is one of the units that provides daily needs, where all cash receipts come from sales in cash or credit. Cash sales at department stores are open to the public and members whereas, credit sales are for members of the cooperative who are directly employees, 2) cash sales are over the-counter sale, buyers (costumer) come directly to the department store to make daily purchases By issuing cash payments to the cashier on goods purchased, 3) The credit sales from the department store unit in the form of a system of receivable penning is done by deducting the salary of the employee through the treasurer of each member company so that the credit payment never stalled. The author suggests the implementation of transaction entries that have been using computerization, should also make the process of data processing using information technology in the form of application programs in cash management in the company.

Abstract

The aim of this research are to analyze: 1) influence of leadership toward the work satisfaction 2) influence of leadership and work satisfaction toward the work discipline office Satpol PP Batam. Kinds of this research is causative descriptive research. Population is all employees (281 persons) in Satpol PP Batam. Sampling method is stratified propotional random sampling so that were selected 165 employees as the respondence. Descriptive analisys , analisys rule and regulation test and path analisys were used answer the research problem. Result this research proved that 1) leadership has significant influences toward the work satisfaction , 2) leadership and work satisfaction signifcant influence toward the work discipline.
