Abstract

The development always has positive and negative sides as environmental problem caused by population growth, technology development and cultural. Environmental problem also caused by the low of the community perspective how to manage the natural resources sustainable. Adiwiyata is a program of the Indonesia Environment Ministry in order to encourage the knowledge and awareness community school for environment preservation. The Public Vocational high School (SMK) Negeri 3 Manokwari is a sample of the Adiwiyata School that follow the Adiwiyata program. This study aimed to analyze the school community knowledge level about environmental concept and sustainable development, also to analyze the education of community knowledge and sustainable development through Adiwiyata program. This study run for a month. Totally, 64 respondents were involved consisting of 1 head school, 23 teachers, 4 staffs, 6 school committees and 30 students that took randomly 10 students each level of class. The Adiwiyata program in SMK Negeri 3 Manokwari was analyzed through scored on each dimensional for multidimensional scaling. Thewhole school community are quite knowledgeable on environmentally sustainable development. The perception map about Adiwiyata program aspects and school community knowledge about sustainable development that grouped into positive and negative groups. The positive group there are policy and curriculum base on environment, while the negative group are the activity base on participatory and management of the environment friendly tool. The value of Stress and R2 are 0.09932 (9.932 %) and the model is appropriate, while the R2 value are 0.89672 (89.672 %) that claim the appropriate model have been achieved.

Abstract

This study is intended to analyse type and amount of MSS (Mangrove worm, Snail and Shell) consumed by the local people live in 12 estuary villages of Mimika. About 30 people for each village - consist of children (2-10 yrs), teenages (11-19 yrs) and adults (>=20 yrs) from both sexes, were selected as subjects. The data collected include socio-economic ofthe family, type and amount of MSS consumption. The results showed that Bactronophorus thoracites (tambelo), Nerita balteata (snail) and Telecopium telescopium (snail), Naqueita capulina (snail) and Geloina sp (shell), Geloina cf coaxan (shell) were the six types of MSS commonly consumed by people in the study areas; and they were consumed by more than 10 % of the subjects with eating frequency more than three times a week for each. The mean intake of tambelo, snail and shell was 290.1±509.4, 96.0±271.2, and 152.8±278.6 g/week respectively in edible portion. Among the age groups, the highest intake of ambelo (433.2±627.5 g/week) and snail (133.8±387.9 g/week) was in adults, but the highest intake of shell (213.7±369.7 g/week) was in teenages. Intake data by village showed that, the highest intake of tambelo was in male of Mioko (542.1±730.8 g/week), the highest intake of snail was in female of Karaka (649.2±487.9 g/week), and so for shell (599.8±484.0 g/week). This implies that the MSS play important roles in the diet of the local people of Mimika’s estuary.

Abstract

Pembangunan berkelanjutan merupakan upaya sadar dan terencana yang memadukan aspek lingkungan hidup,sosial,dan ekonomi kedalam strategi pembangunan untuk menjamin keutuhan lingkungan hidup serta keselamatan, kemampuan, kesejahteraan, dan mutu hidup generasi masa kini dan generasi masa depan. Distrik Konda merupakan salah satu Distrik di Kabupaten Sorong Selatan yang menjadi lokasi untuk mengidentifikasi pencapaian tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian dilakukan di 5 kampung di distrik Konda, dan yang menjadi lokasi penelitian yaitu kampung, Konda,Wamargege, Bariat, Manelek dan Nakna dimana tingkat indikator ketersediaan air bersih, kesehatan dan pendidikan masih menjadi masalah didalam mencapai penerapan pembangunan berkelanjutan pada 18 SDGs kampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik studi literatur dengan observasi lapang. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan 18 pencapaian tujuan-tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Sorong Selatan, Distrik konda. Hasil penelitian perbandingan jumlah rata-rata kelima Kampung untuk pencapaian SDGs menunjukan bahwa Kampung Wamargege dengan hasil terendah dengan angka 189,22 sementara untuk jumlah hasil tertinggi ada Pada Kampung Manelek dengan angka 399,67, sedangkan untuk jumlah hasil lainnya ada pada Kampung Konda dengan angka 393,87 adapun Kampung Bariat dengan angka 390,87. Dan sehubungan untuk hasil jumlah rata-rata persen(%) 18 komponen SDGs yang dengan pencapaiannya belum dan sudah tercapai mempunyai angka 343,41%. Untuk hasil jumlah ini pencapaian SDGs sudah mengalami sedikit peningkatan di Distrik Konda.

Abstract

Residents in Rimba Jaya Village generally work as farmers. In Rimba Jaya Village there are 13 farmer groups that have been trained by extension agents to increase agricultural output. From 13 farmer groups, there are 7 groups that have been confirmed from pre-beginner to beginner groups, these groups are considered the most active in Rimba Jaya village and 6 groups that have not been confirmed and are considered not active in participating in extension activities. Based on the problems that arise, the purpose of this study is: Knowing the effectiveness of communication between farmer groups and PPL in channeling agricultural innovation. Knowing the elements of communication that shape the effectiveness of communication that is appropriate for farmer groups Knowing the factors that influence the effectiveness of communication between farmer groups and PPL. The research method used in this study is descriptive method. The sampling method used in this study is to use a random sampling system that is a sampling technique from population members that is carried out randomly and processed by tabulation. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of communication is declared effective with a total score of 603.5. The elements that make up Communication effectiveness are communicators, innovations / information, and communicants (farmer groups). Factors that influence the effectiveness of communication are communicants (formal education, non-formal education, age, farming experience), innovation / information (material, use of language and communicators (media, methods).

Abstract

Tahun 1970-an wilayah yang sekarang disebut sebagai Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya ini kurang lebih 50 tahun sesudahnya, tersedia kesempatan untuk mengembangkan dan mengelola suatu sistem pembangunan pertanian berkelanjutan di kabupaten ini yang memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi penduduk asli Mamberamo dan memperkuat kapasitas fiskal pemerintah Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya, bahkan Provinsi Papua dan Indonesia secara keseluruhan.
