Abstract

The objective of this research is to know dominant factors which evoke Christian married couple divorce based on finding of Balige State Court in 2107 in efforts prevention by church for the people of Toba Samosir. This research use descriptive qualitative approach with documents analysis method. Data analysis carried out by doing interpretation the result of qualitative data analysis, after act of ranking grades and percentage be done. The act of data analysis is done since team of researcher start doing data classification (coding) within effective reading. Data interpretation is done by two stages, first interpretation of each data item and second, interpretation of all data. The result of data interpretation indicate insufficient family financial factor occupy in the highest sequence, which causing constantly dispute and no hope for living in harmonious anymore. The result of this research, then, posses coherence with Chapter 19 Government Regulation No. 9/1975 regarding Law Implementation No. 1/1974 and base theories of married couple experts. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor dominan yang menyebabkan perceraian berdasarkan Keputusan Pengadilan Negeri Balige tahun 2017 dalam upaya penanggulangan yang dilakukan oleh gereja bagi masyarakat Toba Samosir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menginterpretasikan hasil analisis data kualitatif, setelah penyusunan persentase dan ranking dilakukan. Tindakan analisis data dilakukan sejak para peneliti mulai melakukan klasifikasi (pengkodean) melalui pembacaan efektif dokumen. Kemudian peneliti akan melakukan interpretasi data dengan dua tahap, yaitu interpretasi data setiap item dan interpretasi keseluruhan data. Hasil interpretasi analisis data menunjukkan bahwa faktor keuangan yang tidak mencukupi menempati urutan tertinggi, yang menyebabkan pertengkaran yang terus-menerus dan tidak ada harapan hidup rukun lagi. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian ini memiliki koherensi dengan Pasal 19 Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 9 tahun 1975 tentang Pelaksanaan Undang-undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 dan juga landasan teori-teori para ahli.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefit index of adult congregation members' understanding in the history of the local church in the development of faith in HKBP Tampahan District XI Toba Hasundutan located in Tampahan Village, Toba Regency, North Sumatra Province 2019. Primary data were obtained from answers interview questions to 15 respondents who know and understand the history of the local church. This study was a descriptive qualitative approach with structured interview methods about the implementation of church holistic stewardship in the period 1901-1937. The results of secondary data showed that the index of the benefits of their understanding of history was 72.54%. Based on the results, recommendations are given that church ministers and historical figures must continue to make intensive refreshment for the young generation of the church because it has been proven to have supported the life of the church and the family of the congregation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks manfaat pemahaman anggota jemaat kaum dewasa tentang sejarah gereja lokal dalam perkembangan kepercayaan di HKBP Ressort Tampahan Distrik XI Toba Hasundutan yang berada di Kelurahan Tampahan, Kabupaten Toba, Propinsi Sumatera Utara Toba Tahun 2019. Data primer diperoleh dari jawaban pertanyaan wawancara terhadap 15 orang responden yang mengetahui dan mengerti tentang sejarah gereja lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara terstruktur tentang pelaksanaan penatalayanan holistik gereja periode tahun 1901-1937. Hasil analisa data sekunder jawaban responden menunjukkan bahwa indeks manfaat pemahaman mereka tentang sejarah gereja lokal di HKBP berada pada angka 72,54 %. Berdasarkan hasil ini diberikan rekomendasi bahwa pelayan gereja dan tokoh sejarah harus tetap melakukan penyegaran intensif bagi generasi muda gereja sebab telah terbukti telah menopang kehidupan gereja dan keluarga jemaat.

Abstract

Preaching skills are one of the competency requirements of the elders of the Gereja Punguan Kristen Batak (GPKB). However, based on the results of observations and discussions with the pastor in charge of GPKB Lumban Tongatonga, the problems and obstacles that occur are aspects of elder competence in digging into the Bible and communicative preaching skills that are still not optimal. The image of church elders is, of course, they are seen by the congregation as people who have the competence and can support the development of church ministry through the sermons they deliver. As a GPKB partner institution, the Program Studi Teologi was moved to provide ways to explore Bible texts in improving expository preaching skills for the "elders" of GPKB district V North Tapanuli. The selection of expository text-extracting models is an effort to answer elders' problems in preparing engaging and communicative sermons. The training is carried out on an ongoing basis (kaizen) at the request of the "elders" through the local priest. In the early stages, the theology study program (through homiletics lecturers) delivered expository sermon material and personality criteria with a mini-seminar (interactive) hybrid pattern. Second, practice how to read and explore the meaning of Bible texts. Third, exercises for making “little staples”, outlines, and sermon titles. Fourth, practice outlining and practice expository sermons. The training activity sessions always involve permanent lecturers from the Theology study program (lecturers of the Old and New Testament Bibles). Lecturers function as facilitators. Based on the evaluation form (posttest), "elders" thought that they were helped in terms of how to explore and find the meaning of messages in the text, messages behind the text, and messages in front of the text to be constructed as messages "today" in the form of expository sermon outlines. From this service activity, it was concluded that the elders were increasingly confident in preaching at the GPKB service because they had the understanding and skills to build an expository sermon framework
