Penatalayanan Ibadah Terbatas Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Erman Saragih

This article has an idea about the arrangement of limited worship (individuals) during the covid-19 pandemic. In this article, the functions of obedience theology, the construction of koinonia, and the liturgy of perichoresis are sub-discussed. The lens of discussion about theology during the Covid-19 pandemic. Empirically, worship at home is a massive and proactive solution. The capacity of worship at home is always carried out in a hierarchical liturgical pattern. Koinonia as a spirit relation of communal communion is constructed as a model for the church of individual koinonia. The method used is a literature study, specifically content analysis with the principle of systematic literature review. The conclusion that I convey is first, obedience theology as the basis of Christian spiritual ethics. Second, the early church fellowship pattern emphasized dynamic power by the apostles so that they were able to endure and overcome obstacles. Third, proactive fellowship becomes a common model to survive and start thinking about the future of the church. Fourth, individual worship liturgies can consider the principle of the perichoresis relation to delay the hierarchical pattern of worship. Artikel ini menyoal tentang penatalayanan ibadah terbatas (di rumah) pada masa pandemi covid-19. Pada artikel ini fungsi teologi ketaatan, konstruksi koinonia, dan liturgi perikoreisis menjadi sub pembahasan. Lensa pembahasan seputar teologi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Secara empiris, ibadah di rumah menjadi solusi masif dan bersifat proflektif. Kapasitas ibadah di rumah selalu dilakukan dalam pola liturgi hierarkis. Koinonia sebagai relasi spirit persekutuan komunal dikonstruksi menjadi model menggereja koinonia individual. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan studi literatur secara khusus analysis content dengan prinsip tinjuan literatur secara sistematis. Kesimpulan yang saya sampaikan adalah pertama, teologi ketaatan sebagai basis etis spritual ibadah terbatas. Kedua, pola persekutuan gereja mula-mula menekankan kuasa dinamis oleh para rasul sehingga mampu bertahan dan melampaui hambatan. Ketiga, persekutuan Proflektif menjadi model bersama untuk bertahan dan mulai memikirkan masa depan gereja. Keempat, liturgi ibadah individual dapat mempertimbangkan prinsip relasi perikoresis untuk menunda hierarkisasi pola ibadah.

Changes in social behavior and the increasing presence of church youth in the social media space are certainly a challenge for the church. The purpose of this study is to describe the construction of Christian ethical principles on social piety based on the reading of Matthew 23 as a concept of adaptive stewardship for Christian youth. The method used is descriptive qualitative with critical and constructive studies of Matthew 23 and Christian youth stewardship. The conclusion is social piety is a construction of Christian ethics from reading the interpretation of Matthew 23. The social piety in question includes four principles of Christian ethics for young Christians when they are present in the social media space, namely first, social media as a place to express Christian integrity and identity. (Vv. 1-4); second, social media as a place to sow and transmit the values of honesty (Vv. 5-6); third, social media as a forum to build brotherly solidarity and equality (Vv. 7-12); four social media as a place to convey the prophetic voice (Vv. 13-36).

Preaching skills are one of the competency requirements of the elders of the Gereja Punguan Kristen Batak (GPKB). However, based on the results of observations and discussions with the pastor in charge of GPKB Lumban Tongatonga, the problems and obstacles that occur are aspects of elder competence in digging into the Bible and communicative preaching skills that are still not optimal. The image of church elders is, of course, they are seen by the congregation as people who have the competence and can support the development of church ministry through the sermons they deliver. As a GPKB partner institution, the Program Studi Teologi was moved to provide ways to explore Bible texts in improving expository preaching skills for the "elders" of GPKB district V North Tapanuli. The selection of expository text-extracting models is an effort to answer elders' problems in preparing engaging and communicative sermons. The training is carried out on an ongoing basis (kaizen) at the request of the "elders" through the local priest. In the early stages, the theology study program (through homiletics lecturers) delivered expository sermon material and personality criteria with a mini-seminar (interactive) hybrid pattern. Second, practice how to read and explore the meaning of Bible texts. Third, exercises for making “little staples”, outlines, and sermon titles. Fourth, practice outlining and practice expository sermons. The training activity sessions always involve permanent lecturers from the Theology study program (lecturers of the Old and New Testament Bibles). Lecturers function as facilitators. Based on the evaluation form (posttest), "elders" thought that they were helped in terms of how to explore and find the meaning of messages in the text, messages behind the text, and messages in front of the text to be constructed as messages "today" in the form of expository sermon outlines. From this service activity, it was concluded that the elders were increasingly confident in preaching at the GPKB service because they had the understanding and skills to build an expository sermon framework

The portrait of natural damage in Parhorboan Village, North Tapanuli Regency is a concern and concern for the Theology Study Program to carry out Community Service activities. In addition to the rampant logging of protected forests, chemical fertilizers also damage the humus content of the soil and indirectly create disaster for humans and God's creation. Congregation of the Protestant Communion Church as spiritual beings must be involved in caring for the land and nature for sustainable innovation. Participants in this Community Service activity were lecturers and fifth semester students of the Theology study program at the Tarutung Christian Institute and the Parhorboan Congregation. The purpose of this Community Service activity is not limited to enriching the Ecotheology Course but also providing aspects of knowledge and skills for the congregation in making organic fertilizer. The high price of chemical fertilizers helps farmers in accessing agricultural fertilizer needs. Therefore, the manufacture of organic fertilizers is one solution. By using organic fertilizers, the soil content is not damaged, the topsoil is maintained, and beautiful nature becomes real.

The relationship between Christian continuity and Judaism is also a fascinating study in terms of the practice of Christian education. The implementation of Christian Education often goes too far in referring to material from the teachings of Rabbi Judaism in the process of its implementation without stating the affirmation of the nature of Christian Education itself on that reference. The purpose of this manuscript is as an anti-thesis of the Jewish rabbinic teaching pattern "... they teach it but don't practice it," which was strongly criticized by Jesus and as a reflection of the implementation of Christian Education in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review. The conclusion is, first, it is necessary to affirm the nature of Christian Education among the educational principles of the rabbis in the context of its time because the teachings of Jesus are very much in contrast to the teachings of Judaism. Second, the challenges of implementing Christian education in Indonesia are diverse and multi-layered, so it is full of teaching dichotomies. Third, the pattern of teaching Jesus as a fundamental principle for implementing Christian Education is not to get trapped and make mistakes made by Jewish rabbis. The purpose of this study was to determine the perspectives of theology study program students on healthy dating based on Christian ethics. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation and interviews with eight theology study program students from 2020-2021. The results of the study showed that students have three main views related to the foundations of healthy dating, namely: Good communication, mutual respect, and maintaining bodily purity. Based on interviews with eight students, it was found that these three perspectives are very important in building harmonious relationships and in accordance with dating ethics. However, students face challenges in maintaining healthy relationships, including environmental influences, temptations of lust, and unclear goals in relationships. For this reason, the application of boundaries and education regarding healthy dating is very necessary to help students understand and live relationships that are in accordance with Christian values. This study is expected to contribute to instilling ethical dating values among theology students.

Simalungun is one of the ethnic groups that maintains aspects of its culture. Ahap, which has become an identity for the Simalungun people, initially had positive aims and had a positive impact. According to the Simalungun people, Ahap has enormous power to determine human behavior. GKPS Tarutung is proof of the large number of Simaungun people who live in an area where the majority of the population is the Toba Batak tribe. Ahap became an important factor in the history of the founding of the Simalungun Protestant Christian Church (GKPS) Tarutung. The research aims to find out the meaning of Ahap for the Simalungun people of the Tarutung diaspora and to what extent the value of Ahap is in the history of the founding of GKPS in Tarung. The approach used by the author in completing this paper is to use a descriptive approach, namely writing that describes the actual situation of the object under study. According to the actual situation during direct research, the data collected is not in the form of numbers but the data comes from manuscripts, interviews, field notes, personal documents, memos and other documents. According to St. Mardinus Sinaga, SH, Ahap as the initial trigger for the formation of the PKSTS Organization. This is evident from the fact that the PKSTS organization was started by a meeting between two young men from the Simarmata clan and the Purba clan, who talked about relatives and family from the Simalungun tribe.

The purpose of this study is to determine the Importance of Naposo Leadership Spirituality in Service at GKI Sumut Parlilitan Classis. The research method in this researcher uses a qualitative research method by conducting interviews with Pastors, elders, paniroi, fathers, mothers, Naposo leaders, male youth, female youth. The data studied to examine the spiritual value of Christian leadership in the Naposo service of the Indonesian Christian Church Parlilitan Classis "The results of the study show that it is important to build spirituality for the Naposo people in order to increase close fellowship in the Naposo fellowship at the Indonesian Christian Church Parlilitan Classis". It is very important for Naposo to develop their spirituality because youth are the pillars of the church and for the future of the nation. For the Church, the Naposo people are very important, because in the future the youth will replace or lead the church, so strong spirituality is needed for Naposo. Although in today's era there are many negative influences, how young people influence it is not the other way around influenced by the times. Therefore, the spirit of Christian leadership spirituality is needed. Because spirituality is a divine power that will direct a person to do positive things.

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that influence the lack of Integrity of Elder Service in GKPPD Buluh Tellang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach method by conducting interviews with elders in GKPPD Buluh Tellang. The results of the study showed that there were two factors influencing elders, namely internal factors and external factors in carrying out service duties in the church, they must have the intention and courage to serve or carry out God's calling so that through the courage of the elders in GKPPD Buluh Tellang they do not forget the eldership received through external factors. pastoral care is very important in increasing the activeness of the elders in carrying out service, so that through interviews that have been conducted by the author that the elders already have an understanding of their goals as elders and with encouragement from external factors the elders carry out their duties and obligations as good servants and are increasing. The conclusion is that it shows that some elders lack confidence in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as servants because there are several things, namely the lack of confidence of the elders in leading worship (not PD), low human resources of the elders, lack of encouragement or motivation and support from the family and the most unpleasant is the political factor.
