Abstract

The learning process for Christian Religion & Morals Education (PAK & BP) in Christian minority areas is very different from Christian majority areas. There are many challenges and obstacles faced in the face-to-face learning process, especially in Christian minority areas. In addition to the small number of students, several factors such as; the unavailability of a schedule for religious lessons, unavailable classrooms, perceptions of religious values (marks) can be obtained from the church, lack of response from the school, the absence of adequate teacher availability resulting in one teacher or volunteer have to teach many schools with various classes that must be put together in one day, had become challenges in the PAK & BP learning process. Entering the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, which requires learning to take place online, creates a new challenge, namely learning must go online, making the challenges of the learning process more complicated. This is what makes the author want to give an overview of what the challenges faced in learning PAK & BP are. The use of the survey method in this paper is expected to provide an overview of these challenges and is also expected to provide practical solutions or alternatives that can be used in the PAK & BP learning process.Proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen & Budi Pekerti (PAK & BP) di daerah minoritas Kristen sangat jauh berbeda dengan daerah mayoritas Kristen.  Banyak tantangan dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran secara tatap muka khususnya di daerah minoritas Kristen.  Selain karena jumlah siswa yang sedikit, beberapa faktor seperti tidak tersedianya jadwal untuk pelajaran agama, ruang kelas tidak tersedia, persepsi tentang nilai agama bisa diberi dari gereja, respon dari sekolah yang kurang, tidak adanya ketersediaan guru pengajar yang memadai sehingga  mengakibatkan satu guru atau relawan pengajar harus mengajar banyak sekolah dengan beragam kelas yang harus disatukan dalam satu hari, menjadi tantangan-tantangan tersendiri dalam proses pembelajaran PAK & BP.  Memasuki era pandemi Covid-19 yang mengharuskan pembelajaran dilangsungkan secara online membuat terciptanya tantangan baru yaitu pembelajaran harus melalui daring sehingga membuat tantangan proses pembelajaran semakin rumit.  Hal inilah yang membuat penulis ingin memberi gambaran tentang seperti apa tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran PAK & BP.  Penggunaan metode survei dalam penulisan ini diharapkan bisa memberi gambaran tentang tantangan-tantangan tersebut dan juga diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi atau alternatif praktis yang bisa digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran PAK & BP.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has made non-PNS Christian Religious Extension Officers unable to carry out their counseling duties as before the Covid 19 pandemic. Extension officers cannot freely gather members of the target group in one place. The number of members gathered is strictly limited. Between extension workers and members of the target group cannot interact freely. In any situation, counseling or coaching for members of the target group must continue to be carried out. This study aims to obtain effective methods and media in counseling during the Covid 19 Pandemic. This research is a quantitative study with survey methods and library research. The methods and media for effective counseling can facilitate the tasks of non-civil servant Christian religious instructors in the Greater Bandung Region during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Self-image is an important thing that every human being must own. Because by having the right and proper self-image, then a person will be able to project him/herself correctly and precisely as well. It is not surprising that when a teenager has a good self-image, he/she will live a productive life or at least know how to appreciate his/herself well. It is not infrequently due to a bad or low self-image, one will live a life that is unproductive and tends to have low fighting power, and is even more likely to consider itself useless. Of course, this will have an impact on what will happen in the future. Seeing this phenomenon, we need an institution or group that can provide an understanding of self-image. The church and its pastoral practice are one way to instill Christian values ​​about self-image in youth. It is hoped that with these pastoral assistance activities, the youth will have a good and appropriate self-image. The writing of this scientific paper uses the literature research method, namely where the written sources used can provide the right contribution to the values ​​of self-image according to Christian values. This research can be a contribution to the church in its pastoral activities for youth because it is very relevant both theoretically and practically in instilling Christian values ​​about self-image.

Abstract

In the last five years, there has been very little research on the relationship between religious commitment and self-value of Christian youth in Indonesia for character development. In response, we researched Christian adolescents broadly represented across the Gereja Kristen Perjanjian Baru, Christian Religious Education Students in Bandung, and Immanuel Christian School in Pontianak. We had 480 respondents, and the result is that 89% of adolescents have feelings of self-worth. However, when adolescents assessed feelings of failure, pride, and self-satisfaction, the data revealed that 35% of adolescents have feelings of failure, 49% lack pride in themselves, and 35% have feelings of dissatisfaction. Based on the research results, we recommend three areas for further research and practical implementation for character development among adolescents.
