Abstract

To develop a business or business to be successful, it depends on how to run the business according to the rules and pay attention to the changes that occur. Zero point cafe is a self-owned business, not a child of an entrepreneur or a branch of a medium or large business.  Zero point cafe is managed by one of Hasanuddin University's undergraduate program students named Ajrullah Sumaji, this cafe is located on Jln Statistik, Tamalanrea Indah, Makassar City.This study aims to determine the business growth strategy and the factors that influence the Café Point Zero business.  To achieve this goal, the researchers used data collection techniques through individual interviews.  The data obtained from the research results are processed using qualitative descriptive data to find out what strategies are carried out or used by Point Zero Café in increasing its business growth and what factors influence the business growth strategy of Point Zero Café..The results showed that (1) the Point Zero café business growth strategy was carried out by making more use of social media as a tool to promote the cafe, fostering existing relationships with cafe employees to enliven or find regular cafe customers, providing the best service to all consumers,  take advantage of technological developments in running a business.  always trying to improve facilities to improve customer convenience, trying to maintain a consistent taste of the products sold.  (2) the factors that influence the growth strategy of the Zero Point Café Business, namely internal factors and external factors.  Internal factors include strengths and weaknesses.  The strengths of Point Zero Café are the café's image, the strategic location of the café, the quality of the products offered, adequate advice and infrastructure, having regular customers, and perfecting innovative and creative products.  Meanwhile, the weakness of this café is the lack of promotional activities, marketing network, and limited marketing personnel.  External factors include opportunities and threats.  Opportunities owned by the Cafe include (1) Hasanuddin University student growth rate (2) An increasing sales trend.  While the threat for Point Zero Café is during the current covid 19 pandemic, of course this cafe is not operating properly.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of academic supervision as an effort to improve teachers' pedagogical competencies at the Junior High School (SMP) level in Bantaeng Regency. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a multi-site design, involving two schools in the region: SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng and SMPs PGRI Campagaloe. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis to provide a comprehensive picture of the academic supervision practices at these two schools. The findings show that the academic supervision at SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng is more structured and systematic, with clear supervision plans, regular classroom observations, and constructive feedback. This has positively impacted teachers' pedagogical competencies, particularly in classroom management and the variation of teaching methods. In contrast, the supervision at SMPs PGRI Campagaloe remains informal and more personal, though still positively impacting teacher competency, especially in terms of interpersonal relationships and classroom management. The study also identifies various supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of academic supervision, such as time constraints, varying competencies of school principals, and teachers' mental readiness. Based on these findings, the study recommends the need for more structured, continuous, and needs-based academic supervision to effectively improve teachers' pedagogical competencies, especially in light of the challenges posed by the Merdeka Curriculum, which requires more creative and innovative teaching approaches. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan supervisi akademik sebagai upaya meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru pada tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Bantaeng. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi multi situs, yang melibatkan dua sekolah di wilayah tersebut, yaitu SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng dan SMPs PGRI Campagaloe. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan studi dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih komprehensif tentang praktik supervisi akademik yang diterapkan di kedua sekolah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di SMP Negeri 2 Bantaeng lebih terstruktur dan sistematis, dengan adanya rencana supervisi yang jelas, observasi kelas yang rutin, serta tindak lanjut berupa umpan balik yang konstruktif. Hal ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru, khususnya dalam hal pengelolaan kelas dan variasi metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Di sisi lain, pelaksanaan supervisi di SMPs PGRI Campagaloe masih bersifat informal dan lebih personal, meskipun tetap memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru, terutama dalam aspek hubungan interpersonal dan pengelolaan kelas. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, seperti keterbatasan waktu, variasi kompetensi kepala sekolah, serta kesiapan mental guru. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya peningkatan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik yang lebih terstruktur, berkelanjutan, dan berbasis kebutuhan guru agar dapat lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru, khususnya dalam menghadapi tantangan kurikulum merdeka yang mengharuskan adanya pendekatan yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran.
