Abstract

Global competition prompts businesses to improve the quality of their employee as the first value asset of an organization which can lead to achieve sustainability of business. This research examines the effect of total quality management implementation and work motivation on employee performance at Spinning 1 Production Department PT. ApacInti Corpora, Bawen, Semarang. Questionnaire is used as an instrument of primary data collection, which was distributed to 90 respondents. The method of this study is multiple regression analysis. The calculation result of the method shows that total quality management implementation and work motivation has positive and significant effect on employee performance and gave contribution to employee performance of 43% while 57% are influenced by other variables which are not described in this study.

Abstract

The success of a business is influenced by internal and external factors of the company. This study aims to determine the influence of Technical Factors, HR Factors, Operational Factors, and Financial Factors on SME Performance either partially or simultaneously. The data collection method in this study used observation, questionnaires and interviews conducted in Magelang City. The population used in this study is export-based SMEs in Magelang, while the sample used is 30 export-based SMEs. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the influence of Technical Factors, HR Factors, Operational Factors, and Financial Factors had a positive relationship to UKM Performance, but only HR Factor variables had a significant influence on UKM Performance. The coefficient of determination in this study is 36.6 % which means that the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable studied in this study is only 36.6% and the remaining 63.4% is explained by other variables outside this study

Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of export price, domestic sales and Dollar’s exchange rate on Turpentine’s export volume in KBM Industri Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu Jawa Tengah during 2018-2021. This research was using secondary data during 2018-2021 which obtained by collecting data from KBM Industri Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu Jawa Tengah and Bank Indonesia. The data was tested with multiplier linear regression analysis technique. F test results indicates that export price, domestic sales and Dollar’s exchange rate simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on Turpentine’s export volume. T test results indicates that export price positively and significantly influence Turpentine’s export volume. Instead, domestic sales and Dollar’s exchange rate have a negative and insignificant influence on Turpentin’s export volume

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 pandemic virus throughout the world has forced the world of education to carry out online education. Following the Community Activity Restriction (CAR) policy, Semarang State Polytechnic held online lecturing for all subjects. The purpose of this research is to evaluate online Business Communication lecturing activities to enable its improvement in the future.. This Classroom Action Research is a participatory empirical with students majoring in Business Administration, Semester 3, Academic Year 2021-2022. Data was collected by means of questionnaires, observations (field notes), library documents and other related documents, as well as complaints, appreciations and suggestions given by respondents. Descriptive analysis is done partially and integrally. The results of the study indicate that the biggest problem in online lecturing activities is that the electronic facilities used are not yet supported. Teaching factors, teaching methods, and administrative systems  supported the implementation of lectures whereas factors of student, facility and environment still need to be relatively improved
