Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT Curriculum 2013 was the developing of the previous curriculum however it was emphasized to the enhancement and balance between soft skill and hard skill involving the aspects of attitude competence, skill, and knowledge. The implementation of curriculum 2013 was applied to not only regular or general school but special school as well. The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of curriculum 2013, the teachers’ role, and the problem faced in implementing curriculum 2013 to mentally retardation children in SLB AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo. The research result could be concluded that 1) the implementation of curriculum 2013 to mentally retardation children in SLB AC Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo could not be stated perfect yet and there was still several concepts of the previous curriculum used. In the academic year 2015-2016, not all classes applied this curriculum 2013 as the principle of learning curriculum however only several classes had implemented it i.e. class 1 and class 4 SDLB, 2) the teacher’s role in indicating that teachers in learning program had already made a set of learning such as annual program, semester program, effective week details, syllabus, and learning plan (RPP). In addition, the teacher who had role as the educator also guided the students in learning which applied curriculum 2013 identical with the scientific approach, the teacher strived to apply this scientific approach to mentally retardation children although in the application it did not run maximally yet because of the limitedness of mentally retardation children, 3) the problem faced such as less complete teacher and student books available, less complete education media and lack of teacher’s understanding about arranging the learning set based on curriculum 2013.   Keywords: Implementation, curriculum 2013

Abstract

The development of digital technology has revolutionized political campaign strategies, particularly in regional elections. The Jakarta gubernatorial election serves as a case study to analyze how digital platforms have reshaped political communication. This study investigates the use of social media, digital advertising, and online engagement in influencing voter preferences. Political candidates increasingly rely on digital tools to reach a wider audience, personalize campaign messages, and counter political narratives. The interactive nature of social media also allows candidates to foster direct communication with voters, enhancing their political image and credibility. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing content analysis of campaign materials and interviews with political communication experts. The findings reveal that successful candidates effectively integrate digital platforms to build voter trust, mobilize supporters, and manage political discourse. Social media algorithms, targeted advertising, and viral content play crucial roles in shaping public perception. The study concludes that digital campaign strategies have become a decisive factor in election outcomes, emphasizing the need for politicians to adapt to the evolving digital landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to examine criminal law enforcement in medical malpractice cases. Using library research methods, data was collected from various sources, such as books, journals, and magazines, to analyze and address the issues under study. The results indicate that a physician can be held criminally liable for malpractice if two main elements are met: an unlawful act (objective element) and fault on the part of the perpetrator, either intentional or negligent (subjective element). Furthermore, this article outlines several parameters for identifying suspected violations of the law, including due care (zorgvuldigheid), appropriate diagnosis and therapy, and compliance with professional standards and the principle of proportionality. This study concludes that physicians need to understand their legal responsibilities to anticipate potential lawsuits from patients.

Abstract

Geologically, the city of Padang had the potential for large earthquake impacts due to its location within the Sumatran Fault, Mentawai Fault, and above the Subduction Zone. The magnitude of earthquake damage was determined by soil quality factors and earthquake intensity. To determine the extent of damage, the maximum ground acceleration value was used. This value represented the maximum ground vibration acceleration that occurred at a specific location within a particular area, resulting from all earthquakes that occurred during a specific time period. The maximum ground acceleration value and earthquake intensity in the Padang City area could be calculated using the Atkhinson Boore (2003) method. This study was a quantitative research that commenced by examining relevant theories related to the issue at hand. The research then proceeded with the collection of secondary data obtained from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website. Specifically, earthquake data for the period between 2000 - 2020 in the Padang City area with coordinates LS- LS and BT- BT, and a magnitude M ≥ 5.0 SR depth < 100 km were utilized. Historical earthquake data was employed to determine earthquake intensity values, which were then used to assess the earthquake risk in the Padang City area. Based on the calculation results, the maximum acceleration value of soil was found between 0.519001 g- 0.603847 g. The highest value of maximum acceleration of soil was located in Bungus Teluk Kabung area, while the lowest value was found in Koto Tangah area. The distribution of earthquake intensity (MMI) in Kota Padang area has a value of VIII MMI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in learning outcomes between students using video and those using e-books, as well as the impact of learning motivation on understanding the Solar System material. The research design employs a quasi-experimental approach involving 42 sixth-grade students from SD Negeri Rejosopinggir. The results indicate that the use of video significantly enhances students' learning outcomes, with an average posttest score of 82.9 compared to 78.3 for the e-book group. Additionally, students with high motivation show a greater score increase. These findings suggest that learning media should be tailored to students' motivation levels to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
