Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of health services in Kasembon and Pujon Districts in Malang Regency based on the catchment area perspective, as well as analyze the challenges of the practice of accessing health services. With the background of service improvement efforts that have been done a lot, but in fact, the accessibility is very difficult or even impossible to change. This study uses a qualitative method with a soft system methodology (SSM) approach. The data processing of the findings is carried out through a comparison of real facts with alternative normative models so that they have the opportunity to generate improvement ideas. The results of the study show that there are still challenges in the form of weak access to health insurance, facilities, and human resources, quality standards of health services, the role of monitoring stakeholders, to patterns of community participation. This then resulted in 3 main points of concern to produce corrective action, namely the evaluation of the health care system, health service practice standards, and the accuracy of the health service program targets. This study recommends a top-down mechanism priority by optimizing the improvement of the quality of health service standards in Kasembon and Pujon by policymakers and bottom-up through a participatory pattern by optimizing local public service agencies (BLUD) through community synergy with various institutions and government at lower levels. for managing access to health services.

Abstract

IPAL is the development program of wastewater management installation. It is a community-based communal and presumed to prioritize physical development without paying attention to the readiness of human resources at the local level so that some cases in the facilities construction have failed or they are unsustainable. This is a qualitative research by using a case study approach that aims to discuss the community’s participation in supporting the implementation of sustainability in communal management of IPAL in RT 01 RW 01, Simokerto sub-district, Surabaya. The data collection technique is conducted through the interview, direct observation, and documentation. The findings are obtained by using sustainable analysis in three aspects, namely economic, environmental, and socio-cultural aspects. The result indicates that in terms of the socio-cultural aspect, communal IPAL is unsustainable. The cause is the component condition of communal IPAL which has less advantage due to non-routine maintenance activities. Keywords: Sustainability, Sanitation facilities, Communal IPAL

Abstract

This paper aims at investigating the impacts of the enactment of Google classroom as instructional media in the context of EFL. E-learning through Google classroom is an effective and interactive media to teach writing and speaking skills during social distancing. This is a qualitative study assessment, interview, and questionnaire in collecting data. Analytic and diagnostic rating scales are the assessment to measure writing and speaking skills. The results show that English Language Teaching in Google classroom promotes innovation in collaborating the use of assessment, students’ background knowledge, and real-world materials. The impact shows that students have great achievement in both writing and speaking skills and Google classroom is more recommended than traditional lecturing.  Riset ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dampak penggunaan Google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing. E-learning melalui Google classroom merupakan media yang efektif dan interaktif untuk mengajarkan keterampilan menulis dan berbicara selama social distancing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan wawancara, dan kuesioner untuk pengumpulan data. Skala penilaian analitik dan diagnostik adalah penilaian yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan menulis dan berbicara. Kuesioner dan wawancara juga digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran Bahasa Inggris melalui Google classroom, mempromosikan inovasi dalam mengkolaborasikan penggunaan penilaian, pengetahuan latar belakang siswa, dan materi dunia nyata. Dampaknya menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki prestasi yang lebih baik dalam keahlian menulis dan berbicara. Penggunaan Google classroom lebih direkomendasikan daripada kuliah tradisional secara tatap muka selama pandemi covid 19.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of the Family Planning Village Program in Sidotopo Village, Semampir District, Surabaya City. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory in this research is the theory of program effectiveness according to (Siagian, 2008) and also the theory of success of the family planning program according to the BKKBN. The results of this study indicate that the KB Village Program in RW 12, Sidotopo Sub-district, Semampir Sub-district has been effective, with 7 indicators from (Siagian, 2008) & BKKBN there are four effective indicators, namely, High Community Participation for the advancement of KB village, variety of activities implemented in an integrated manner, both government programs and community innovation, Clarity of goals to be achieved with sub-indicators of precise and targeted targets, and Clarity of strategy for achieving goals with sub-indicators of Impact of the Family Planning Program.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a virus that has spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. Mayor Regulation No. 67 of 2020 regarding the handling of Covid-19, hereby the Surabaya City government wants to improve civil society by empowering the RT/RW level community through the formation of a Covid-19 handling task force, by establishing the KampungWani Jogo Suroboyo. The purpose of this research is to determine Community Participation in the Bratang Gede area, Ngagel Rejo village, in the implementation of the Program Kampung Wani Jogo Suroboyo and the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Program KampungWani Jogo Suroboyo. The benefit of this research is to broaden the reader's knowledge regarding community participation in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach using the theory of Community Participation, according to Huraerah, 2008. The results of this research indicate that Community Participation in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period in the Program Kampung Wani Jogo Suroboyo has been running quite well in accordance with existing regulations, namely Mayor Regulation No. 67 of 2020. This program is also supported by sufficient human resources and adequate infrastructure. However, the obstacles in using the Lawancovid application do not work well and residents obtain funding independently using village cash.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the quality of public service in the population administration of electronic identity card and the family card in Wringinanom district office, Gresik. Public service is the effort of institution in providing assistance for community to achieve certain goals according to the community needs. In this case, service quality is often used to know how institution performance provides public services. In term of service quality, it can reflect the performance in implementing the duty and function. Furthermore, Wringinanom district is the provider of public service in population administration, such as the service in electronic identity card and the family card. However, several problems have been found in the quality of population administration services in Wringinanom district. The study uses the variable of service quality in qualitative descriptive research method. The analysis technique applies four methods, namely data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusion. Moreover, the result indicates the quality of population administration service does not have good quality, especially in electronic identity card and the family card in Wringinanom district. It is proven from several indicators that have not been fulfilled. The first indicator is physical evidence dimension that has lack of comfortable public place. Whereas, the second indicator is reliability dimension that can be seen from the uncertain service standard. The last is empathy dimension in which the service still needs an improvement.

Abstract

This This study aims to analyze and describe community participation in Managing Waste Bank in Jambangan District in Surabaya. It also investigates the supporting and inhibiting factors in Managing Waste Bank. The study uses qualitative descriptive method. The results indicate that 1) participation in Decision Making is done through the decision and discussion between waste bank administrators, customers, and neighborhood association, and citizen association, 2) participation in Executing is done by non-governmental organization. The study has an agreement, such as 3) Participation in Taking Benefits that can be seen from quantity and quality aspects according to the number of customers targeted and the advantages, 4) There hasn’t been any evaluation for this program but few evaluations are made. The results show 3R Principles, namely 1) reducing principle has been done according to rules made by Minister of the Environment and Center of Waste Bank in Surabaya, 2) reusing principle has resulted in socializations, 3) recycling principle has resulted in specific parts and to recycle through environment ambassador. Supporting factor in the waste bank in Jambangan District has a grant from CSR (Coorporate Social Responsibility) of PT. PLN East Java. Whereas, the inhibiting factor is still found by residents who do not want to sort out garbage.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pelayanan publik dengan memanfaatkan sistem informasi menuju desa digital. Kebutuhan masyarakat tentang kualitas pelayanan publik yang efektif dan efisien menjadi sebuah keniscayaan. Pemerintah Desa Kalanganyar, Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo sebagai bagian dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Sidoarjo telah menerapkan pelayanan berbasis digital yang dinamakan SIPRAJA (Sistem Pelayanan Rakyat Sidoarjo) sesuai dengan Surat Edaran Bupati Sidoarjo tentang kewajiban bagi seluruh desa untuk memanfaatkan aplikasi tersebut. Akan tetapi, partisipasi dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan SIPRAJA masih rendah sehingga aplikasi hanya dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian masyarakat saja. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan pelaksanaan, yaitu brainstorming, sosialisasi, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini, pemerintah desa memahami tentang pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik. Selanjutnya, pemerintah desa juga berhasil memberikan arahan dan meningkatkan jumlah partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi SIPRAJA. Dengan demikian, pelayanan publik di Desa Kalanganyar dapat berjalan secara optimal dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi tersebut.

Abstract

Soda Lake Tourism is one of the village assets managed as a tourist spot made by Pokdarwis Kreasi Telaga Soda which was previously an ordinary pond. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the management of tourism assets in increasing the village's original income in Telaga Soda Tourism as well as the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the management of Telaga Soda tourism. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the sources of information being the Head of the Tangungprigel Village, the Chairperson of the Pokdarwis of the Responsibility of Prigel Village, and visitors. Data collection technique using purposive sampling. This study uses indicators from Permendagri Number 1 of 2016 concerning Village Asset Management. the results of the study indicate that the implementation of village asset management in Telaga Soda tourism in the Responsibility Prigel Village has been running in accordance with Permendagri Number 1 of 2016 concerning Village Asset Management is the implementation of Utilization, Maintenance, Administration, Reporting and supervision. Indicators that have not gone well are the implementation of Planning, Guidance and Security. The suggestions are efforts to increase the competence of tourism managers through outreach, technical guidance, training education with competent speakers, collaborating with third parties for development in the management of Telaga Soda tourism. In developing Telaga Soda Tourism, the village government and Pokdarwis must be more open in seeing opportunities and changes in the tourism sector. In addition, tourism facilities and infrastructure such as accessibility, amenities and accommodation must always be improved and improved.

Abstract

Surabaya Smart City (SSC) merupakan program yang dicanangkan oleh Pemerintah Kota Surabaya. SSC sebenarnya merupakan kombinasi dari kompetisi berbasis lingkungan, Surabaya Green and Clean (SGC) dan Freedom from Waste (MDS). Tujuan dari program Surabaya Smart City adalah untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan mengembangkan desa-desa yang berpotensi menjadi desa wisata. Baik dari segi kebersihan, produk unggulan, kampung aman, dan lain-lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas program Surabaya Smart City dalam mewujudkan smart environment di Desa SEHATI Desa Tembok Dukuh Kecamatan Bubutan RT 03 RW 04 Kota Surabaya. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengetahui efektivitas program Surabaya Smart City dalam mewujudkan smart environment di Desa SEHATI Desa Tembok Dukuh Kecamatan Bubutan RT 03 RW 04 Kota Surabaya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori efektivitas yang dikemukakan oleh Sutrisno dengan variabel pemahaman program, tepat sasaran, tepat waktu, pencapaian tujuan program dan perubahan nyata. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program Surabaya Smart City di Desa SEHATI Desa Tembok Dukuh Kecamatan Bubutan RT 03 RW 04 Kota Surabaya cukup efektif karena dari kelima variabel efektivitas yang dikemukakan oleh Sutrisno sudah berjalan dengan baik dan efektif. Faktor pendorong pelaksanaan program Surabaya Smart City di Desa SEHATI Desa Tembok Dukuh Kecamatan Bubutan RT 03 RW 04 Kota Surabaya adalah peran dukungan pemerintah dan masyarakat, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah pembiayaan dan teknologi.
